Tarami Safaris – Terms & Conditions
1. Booking & Confirmation
A booking is confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit and written confirmation from Tarami Safaris. The balance must be paid before the commencement of the tour unless otherwise agreed in writing.
2. Payments
Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit/debit card, or other approved payment methods. Any bank charges or transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.
3. Cancellation Policy
More than 60 days before departure: Deposit refundable less administrative charges and any non-refundable supplier costs.
30–59 days before departure: 50% cancellation fee.
15–29 days before departure: 75% cancellation fee.
Less than 15 days before departure or no-show: 100% cancellation fee.
Cancellation fees may vary where lodges, airlines, or parks impose stricter policies.
4. Changes to Bookings
Any request to amend a confirmed booking is subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. Passport, Visa & Health Requirements
Clients are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, travel insurance, and any required vaccinations or health documentation before travel.
6. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance covering medical emergencies, evacuation, cancellation, baggage loss, and personal liability is strongly recommended for all travelers.
7. Prices
All prices are quoted in the agreed currency and include only the services listed in the itinerary. Tarami Safaris reserves the right to adjust prices due to significant changes in government taxes, park fees, fuel prices, exchange rates, or other unavoidable costs before final payment.
8. Liability
Tarami Safaris acts as an agent for hotels, airlines, transport providers, and other suppliers. While every effort is made to ensure safe and reliable services, Tarami Safaris shall not be liable for injury, loss, delay, damage, or additional expenses resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including weather, road conditions, government actions, strikes, natural disasters, or supplier failures.
9. Itinerary Changes
Tarami Safaris reserves the right to alter itineraries, accommodations, or transportation where necessary due to weather, road conditions, operational requirements, safety concerns, or circumstances beyond our control. Similar or higher-quality alternatives will be provided whenever possible.
10. Client Responsibilities
Clients are expected to comply with the laws and regulations of the countries visited, respect wildlife and local communities, and follow the instructions of tour guides and park authorities.
11. Complaints
Any complaint should be reported immediately to the tour guide or Tarami Safaris management during the tour to allow prompt resolution. Complaints submitted after the tour should be made in writing within 14 days of the tour's completion.
12. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts.
