Our lodge sits beside the Rufiji River outside Nyerere National Park, approximately five minutes from the nearby park gate. Combine game drives with a boat safari on the Rufiji River and a guided walking safari accompanied by an armed ranger. Look for elephants, buffaloes, giraffes and other wildlife on land, and hippos, crocodiles and birdlife along the river. Activities depend on your chosen itinerary, local conditions and applicable park rules. Wildlife sightings are always a matter of nature and cannot be guaranteed.
Safaris across southern Tanzania
We arrange trips to Nyerere, Mikumi, Ruaha and Udzungwa Mountains, including wildlife safaris, hiking and cultural visits. Options include private safaris and selected shared departures, with road, rail or domestic flight connections according to the package. Trips can start from Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar, making it possible to combine a safari with a beach holiday.
