How it began,
Our CEO, Peter K who holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and several trainings in Nature interpretation and tourism started out as a Safari Guide having opted for nature as opposed to air conditioned offices. He worked for reputable companies for a good number for over about 9years.
As much as he wanted to pursue it as a passion, he could not neglect the huge gap between the big number of tourism graduates/trainees and the limited opportunities.
From this desire to empower communities, he birthed the idea of Big Apes Africa with just a small team which is steadily growing mostly on the side of Safari guides.
