WILD ANGLES is a specialized tour operator based in Pretoria, South Africa, focusing on facilitating wildlife photography workshops and safaris. We started in 2010 with photo tours to Kruger Park and wildlife photography workshops in the Greater Kruger Area. Out of our strong passion for wildlife and the beauty of nature developed the love for photography which we want to share with fellow wildlife enthusiasts.
Unlike most other operators, our definition of “photo safari” is that we have always at least one dedicated photographer on tour to assist with tips and advice. On some tours and workshops, we even have special guest photographers, most of them renowned and acclaimed professional wildlife photographers.
One of our aims is to enable other enthusiasts to join a ready-made group tour at reasonable cost. We have a wide range of destinations with outstanding itineraries scheduled across the year.
Based on our knowledge and experience, we design and organize tours to exciting nature and wildlife destinations in small groups for very affordable prices. We are well networked with other operators and accommodation suppliers, and strive to offer one-of-a-kind tours with well thought-out itineraries. The mixture of destinations, duration and attention to detail make tours with WILD ANGLES special. In addition, each tour is accompanied by a dedicated photographer to assist guests on their personal journey of wildlife photography.
In our homeland South Africa, we offer some unique photography workshops in private reserves and parks which are appealing to first time safari goers as well as veterans.
We place great emphasis on our guests’ wellbeing and enjoyment through careful selection of partners such as guest photographers, as well as lodges or transportation companies, especially when it comes to health and safety standards. The destinations are equally chosen with care to provide our guests with access to prime wildlife areas and spectacular game viewing. Our tours are accompanied by well experienced field guides as we also want to raise awareness of the eco-systems we are visiting by providing in-depth insights on the habitat and behaviour of the wildlife we encounter.
WILD ANGLES is currently in process of acquiring membership with the Southern African Tourism Services Association.
