Our story is deeply rooted in Tanzania’s history, tracing back to our grandfather, Mzee Yohani Lauwo — the legendary first African guide to lead Hans Meyer to Kilimanjaro’s summit in 1889. His spirit of adventure and love for the mountain continues to inspire everything we do today.
