Went Uphill both ways but worth it...!!
Our trek lasted at 4PM, so we had an intermediate hike, some go longer. We started out strong but the hills climbing were really tough. Taking help of walking sticks was so good while going up as well as down.
Luckily, our guide Frank helped to hire a porter to carry our bagpacks. He eventually carried all of our stuff for us to make it. A lady in our group really struggled at the onset but one of the rangers eventually carried her bag to keep us moving.
We got to the gorilla family at about 11:30 and we just have got a little over an hour with them. We had to move around a lot as they were active. At one point we were watching the adult hang out while two younger ones played - just like what you would see in the park.
After our time we left and hiked for a while and stopped for lunch, we had an actual lunch with us but the others only had snacks and finished quick. Then we hiked the rest of the way back.
Most thankful to Frank for the help, we had the stick and brought good gloves, also we had long socks to tuck in our pants. It is what kept all of us initially in our long sleeves.
And definitely glad I paid the $20 (and gave a big tip) for the porter.

Beautiful Queen Elizabeth National park.
It’s really a very beautiful park with a lot things to see and do from the Wildlife (big fives), boat cruises, chimpanzee treks, great vegetation and land scape to local community encounters and coffee tours. I love this park; it gives you a variety of activities to do that you can even spend three nights there.

Endowed with Biodiversity and Scenery!
The Queen Elizabeth National Park is endowed with plenty of wildlife species ranging from the famous Big Five exclude Rhinos, Hundreds of antelope species, Reptiles, Hippos, Hogs including the Giant forest Hog and myriads of different bird species both residents and migratory species. The top thing of that park has undulating terrain lying in the shadows of Mountains of the Moon and it is making a sight seeing attraction. All in all when in Uganda Queen Elizabeth would have been a must Visit if someone is planning to Uganda! And I always recommend it to first time visitors and would be visitors to Uganda's national parks.

The Most Amazing Chimpanzee Viewing
We hiked for about 45 minutes to get to the chimpanzees at Kibale NP. Then were given about an hour to watch. I took many pictures and even more videos on my smartphone. Guides and rangers of East African Jungle Safaris tries to keep the groups small so we have a chance of good viewing. Our hike was fairly easy and bugs/insects were not an issue. For recommendations, February is a good month to go. Guide does a good job of making sure we know what to do and not to do. While you are trekking, Keep your voices down, no camera flashes and keep back a ways. We still got really close though.

Wildlife Viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park
We had visited Queen Elizabeth National Park during 3 days trip through Uganda and Rwanda. It is a beautiful park with a good wildlife density/diversity as in places like Kenya, Tanzania, or Botswana. Just because of this, we strongly recommend visiting and supporting Ugandan wildlife conservation efforts. Wildlife populations here are recovering and the communities around the park are slowly discovering the benefits of responsible tourism. As we know this Park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions, but while having trip, we don’t get the chance.
The Park is broadly splited into two areas, the northern section (Kasenyi) and the southern section (Ishasha). We gota find some lions in Kasenyi but again on the ground, not in the trees and were very lucky to find a leopard in Ishasha. It is apparently more common to find lions in the trees in Ishasha but they do also climb up into the cactus candelabras in Kasenyi.
This Park is surrounded by many human settlements. At the end of the day this goes to meetup from the wildlife population. With the support of tourists and the continuous commitment from the Ugandan Wildlife Authority and the Ugandan government more broadly this place will have a bright future ahead.

Incredible experience, it's seems National Geographic!
That was an unforgettable experience for me at Kibale national park! If you are wanting to see wild chimpanzees, I want to tell THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE!!! The guide on our side was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke decent English. Unlike some other parks with chimp populations, Kibale is amongst the highest in the world so your much more likely to get really good views of them as opposed to just in the trees.

Trekking in Chimpanzee habituation, amazing!!!
What a great experience! In complete journey of 5 day tour, we Spent one full day with the chimps at Kibale National Forest. I really loved to follow them from the moment they wake up to the end of the day, as we left at the end of the afternoon, being tired after a trekking of 8 hours in the jungle. The only part of tour that we didn't like is when some of other groups of tourists came to disturb the quietness of the jungle to see the chimps that we found, early in the morning. But it was just for an one hour. Except that hour, we were only the 4 of us, with the ranger and the chimps. With their help we learned a lot about them. The ranger knew them very well, like if they were members of her family. It was super exciting as they were so close to us. I would go back again and with same company as well.

Adventure in QENP
This National Park is really a Huge, Almost 2000 sq on. To start our trekking we reached early about 6:30 am to see animals diversity and that are nocturnal. We managed to see the lions relaxing under trees and at a sudden he walked very close to our vehicle. We saw herds of Kob mating as well as water buck and cape buffalo. Saw a huge herd of hippos in water calling to each other as well as a lone hippo in a small pond who had been banished from the group. Also saw a few warthogs and Franklins. We only covered a very tiny portion of the park and saw lots of wildlife.
This was done just with the help of East African Jungle Safaris as their great management.

Perfect Stop at Queen Elizabeth Nationall Park
Queen Elizabeth NP was one of the most adventures place of the trip. We really enjoyed the safari trip on the Kazinga channel. Got a chance to saw a lot of elephants taking a bath that day. Animals we saw in the park, were mostly near the water during the trip.
On next day morning we did the lion tracking. That was Kind of really special as we saw some other mammals like Giant forest hog, Bush bucks, Kobs, Hyenas. Once we found the lions, it was not really amazing to see just because they wear a collar. I know they need the collar to be tracked, but still. It looks like a big pet cat this way. We being allowed to go off track was pretty cool.
During the lion tracking we also saw a leopard and that made the day and it made the whole experience worth going to. Wow, what a beast was that.
For safaris I would recommend spending more time to this Queen Elizabeth NP.

Ultimate experience at this amazing falls!!
We had a wonderful 4 days trip with East African Jungle Safaris on our vacations, together with my family members. We were very amused by the way they arranged and organised the tour for safari. With a good accommodation, Lodge they arranged had the best meals and staff was also welcoming. Our driver/giude was also a kind person. He was caring and had a comprehensive knowledge of wildlife.
