Was just like a superman in all kind of risky conditions guided us to see as many animals
5/5

I just returned from Uganda where I did safari for 14 days. Though it was rainy season reputed to be had to spot animals I saw them. It was either that I was lucky or I got a guide who knew what he was doing. However, due to rain, it was crucial to have a very good driver as the road was very difficult to pass through as times and the truck was easily stuck by the mud. Luckily, thanks to East African Jungle Safaris who not only made the trip but also arranged a highly experienced driver for us. Was just like a superman in all kind of risky conditions guided us to see as many animals and adventures as possible. And yet it was fun and adventurous throughout. When we shared our concerns about not been so lucky to see the animals because of rain he said thus for the unprofessional. We were ordered not to worry and stay relaxed.

Unforgettable experience of nature, wildlife and cultural heritage
5/5

This was a lovely 7 day tour that I enjoyed very much with my husband. The guide Eddie was friendly, knowledgeable and patient answering our questions. He attentively spotted animals for us to watch. The accommodation places were clean and comfortable. Uganda is such a lovely country with friendly people and children waving at you wherever you. The nature there is very beautiful with lots of green hillside, lakes , forests and mountains. I loved the activities of people in the Bigodi swamp walk and their way of doing things . I loved the animals everywhere. The trip was really unforgettable. I would only recommend that the gorilla trekking activity be moved to the end of the tour because it's strenuous and could affect one's enjoyment of the rest of the tour especially if one gets injured. I also believe people should be made aware beforehand of the nature of this activity and how slippery or steep the ground is there in the impenetrable forest.
EAJS really delivered all the program as I hoped for and as they designed. I only wish we had been able to do the Batwa cultural experience which was part of the tour and I was looking forward to it but we didn't have the time to do it unfortunately. Apart from that, the tour was great and I would recommend it to my friends.

We highly recommend East African Jungle Safaris!
5/5

We booked the 7 days "Bwindi, Queen Elizabeth and Kibale Tour" in Uganda with East African Jungle Safaris (EAJS) in May 2021 and we highly recommend EAJS!
We booked the mid-range option and loved each and everyone of the hotels (Rushaga Gorilla Haven Lodge next to Bwindi, Bunyonyi Eco Resort, Bush Lodge, and Kibale Forest Camp).
Fred and his team made the initial planning of the trip easy. Fred would answer within a few hours if we had any questions or if we wanted to adjust the tour to fit our needs. Fred was extremely reliable and accomodating.

Once in Entebbe (Uganda), our tour guide Willy picked us up from our Hotel. Willy was extremely nice and knowledgeable and made the 7 day journey so memorable and enjoyable. If we had any additional wishes, Willy would incorporate them into our tour! We loved the experience and recommend EAJS for anyone looking to travel to Uganda and the surrounding region!

Thanks again EAJS for a memorable vacation!

A very serious and professional tour operator
5/5

I've chosen two journeys from East African Jungle Safaris. One to Bwindi NP and Queen Elisabeth NP and one to Kidepo NP. During the planning, Fred fulfilled my needs 100%. Because of the Covid-situation, I could adjust the tour without any problems. The guides Eddy and Ronald did a great job. They were very friendly, drove me safely and helped me, whenever they could. I can highly recommend this tour agency.

Great operator
5/5

I had a great time and really enjoyed the trip. I only had a limited time so I wanted to see as much as possible. Fred helped plan the trip to maximize time even adding things along the way I didn't consider. My guide, Eddie was great. Very profesional, organized and punctual. He also had a great attitude and was friendly and knowledgeable. The primate watching was great, of course I saw the chimpanzees and mountain gorillas which was unforgettable. However I also saw 5-8 other kinds of primates along the way and even at lodges. Speaking of lodges they were unforgettable. The Kibale Forest Camp was right in the rainforest and had a great jungle trail around it. You slept in very fancy tents with bathrooms. The next spot was Bakiga Lodge which was even more spectacular perched on the edge of Bwindi Impenetrable national park overlooking the sloping tea plantations to the north. Finally, and best of all, was the Lake Bunyonyi Eco Resort which was on its own private island in the middle of lake Bunyonyi. Another spectacular nature trail and dugout canoeing made it very special. However the views were out of this world, I was legitimately concerned I had died and gone to heaven.

The best at what he does!
5/5

Fred is the man! I received an email back extremely quickly and he was able to answer all of my questions without any hesitation. I asked so many questions and was so happy with the responses and his patience. He was able to help create a very special custom tour for me and my friends. The tour was more than perfect! It was non-stop action and we were always on the go. I loved every second of it. The places we stayed were unbelievably beautiful. The food just kept coming! We ate so much and it was delicious. We saw every animal we hoped to see. Our guide was amazing. I literally can't express how amazing East African Jungle Safaris is. PLEASE do yourself a favor and plan a trip with them ASAP!

Overall very friendly, organized and knowledgable.
4/5

We had a great trip and would recommend, our only complaint was the lack of knowledge around covid testing. This resulted instead of our last day being relaxing starting with a tour of the lake where we stayed and heading back to the city in the evening for a 11:30PM flight, we were told we would have to leave at 6AM (which we are not to drive back because the only covid test option was there and needed 6 hours. When we got to Entebbe we found the test not only costs us $175 USD we had to pay in cash but the results would only take two hours. The driver had no activities for us that day so we were stuck at a bar for 6+ hours before a 20+ hour travel home. I was under the impression from the trip organizer that we would be getting our covid test at one of the lodges so instead of ending a trip on a good note, we spent the last day frustrated on what we missed.

The trip was great - you spend a lot of time in the car so be prepared, but the wildlife is incredible.

They ensure that you are fully satisfied.
5/5

I did a 4 day safari (that turned into 5 days) which included gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking, among other things. All of the activities that Fred planned in my itinerary were very exciting. The gorilla trek, of course, was the highlight of it all and it was truly a captivating experience that I will never forget. That activity, although expensive, is a must do item. The chimpanzee trekking was also a unique experience. Even the boat ride on the Kazinga Channel which I didn’t expect much of, turned out to be such a great experience. The meals were all delicious, and the “budget” accommodations were actually extremely luxurious for me. There were some issues caused by a road closure on the last day which completely changed my itinerary. It was out of our control and nobody could be blamed for it. Fred worked with me to fix it and I very much appreciate it. It was stressful for everyone but it all turned out okay in the end. This is a company that will look out for you to make sure that you’re satisfied. Customer service is very important for them. My driver, Wilson, was incredible. I had such a great time driving around southern Uganda with him, the drive was the second best part of the trip. I always felt safe with his expert driving abilities, and he was okay with talking, listening to music, or just driving with the windows down and staring at the landscapes. He would also look out for me in any areas where there could be petty theft, and raise the windows so that nobody would be tempted to take my phone from my hands. Essentially, he made sure from day 1 until I was at the airport that nothing bad would happen to me. Hands down, I recommend taking a safari/trekking/touring trip with East African Jungle Safaris. Don’t even waste your time looking at other companies. East African Jungle Safaris will offer you the best combination of itinerary and price, and you can be confident that if anything goes wrong, that you will be taken care of. Thank you so much for everything.
