Simply the best
We recently had the privilege of embarking on an extraordinary safari adventure in Africa, and it exceeded all expectations. From the moment we set foot in the untamed wilderness, it felt like a journey into a different world.
The diversity of wildlife was simply awe-inspiring. We were fortunate enough to witness the Big Five in their natural habitat, and so much more. Majestic elephants roamed freely, lions lazed under the golden sun, and graceful giraffes towered over the savannah. The expert guide Simon, possessed an encyclopaedic knowledge of the animal kingdom, enriching our experience with fascinating insights.
The accommodations were nothing short of luxurious, seamlessly blending with the wild surroundings. Waking up to the calls of exotic birds and the rustle of leaves was a surreal experience. The lodges offered unparalleled comfort, and the attentive staff ensured every need was met with a warm smile.
One of the highlights was a night safari, a spine-tingling adventure that unveiled a whole new world of nocturnal creatures. Bathed in moonlight, we observed elusive creatures like leopards, hyenas, and owls going about their nightly rituals. It was a true privilege to witness the circle of life in action.
The landscapes were equally captivating, ranging from vast savannahs to lush wetlands and ancient forests. The sunsets over the horizon painted the sky with hues of gold, crimson, and violet, leaving an indelible mark on the soul.
In addition to the wildlife, the cultural experiences were enriching. Engaging with local communities and learning about their traditions added depth to our journey, fostering a deeper appreciation for the delicate balance between nature and human existence.
This safari was not just a trip, but a transformative experience. It ignited a profound connection with nature and left me with memories that will last a lifetime. I cannot recommend this adventure enough to anyone seeking an immersive encounter with the wild heart of Africa.

Well organised, efficient tour operator who gave us a magical safari experience in Tanzania
Takims Holidays gave us a superb safari experience through the Northern Safari Circuit in Tanzania and a fun few days relaxing in Zanzibar. As six women friends travelling together with ages ranging from early fifties to 77 years' old, we had a bit of trepidation booking the safari. We needn't have worried though as everything was taken care of with effortless efficiency and great humour. Our driver/guide Raj was amazing and with his 'magic hat' and eagle eye introduced us to the natural wonders and wild animals of East Africa. It was a wonderful experience and I just wish we could do it again!

Perfect organised and excecuted journey
Just back from an amazing 6 day safari in Trangire, Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. The whole journey was perfect organised by Takims and perfect executed by our guide John. He knew all the right spots to go and that resulted in some amazing and unforgettable moments (and pictures).
We spotted all of the Big Five :-)
Thanks to Takims and especialy to John for giving us an exceptional journey that will stay in our memories forever.

An excellent choice
We have recently returned from a week-long private safari tour arranged by Takims. We are thoroughly pleased with the driver, the itenerary and the lodgings. The chauffeur, Ayoub, was a competent driver and provided much useful and interesting information. And he was able to spot animals with an amazingly sharp eye. The lodgings provided were top-notch, with comfortable and exceptionally clean rooms and outstanding meals.
We have had a truly memorable experience.

Professional, Personal, Knowledgeable: First Rate
Takims Holidays did an outstanding job organizing our family trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar. From the planning stage through the end of the trip, Tehsin and the team were responsive, patient, and easy to work with.
The safari itself was exceptional, largely because of our guide, Raymond. He knew the parks extremely well, helped us see an amazing range of wildlife, and adjusted each day to fit our family’s pace. He was also thoughtful in small ways that made a real difference, including taking extra care to make the experience special for my daughter.
Several activities stood out, especially the Mto Wa Mbu village visit, canoeing on Small Momella Lake, the Serengeti hot air balloon ride, and the night drive in Tarangire. Each added something different to the trip and made the itinerary feel well-rounded.
Takims has been established since 1950, and their experience came through in the quality of the planning, guiding, and overall execution. This was a memorable and very well-run trip, and I look forward to working with Takims again in the future to plan another amazing experience.
