Excellent organization and hospitality. All went as smoothly has you could hope.
Safari365 did a great job - perfect organization (nothing went wrong) and great hospitality. All the guides were friendly and expert, transport went smoothly, and the lodges were excellent. We got to see all the animals and landscapes we wanted both on safari drives, by walking and on the water. Only small downside was the cold at night and on the open vehicles in the early morning. Especially at Nokanyana where the tent/lodge is open to the cold night air. Bring warm clothes!

Incredible Cape Town & Wine Country Vacation Created by Charles Howie/ Safari 365
In a world where many prospective travelers are using Instagram and relying on the dubious advice of social media influencers for travel ideas; an environment where superficiality frequently overrides substance, my experience with Charles is the antithesis of that trend. First of all, he took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for and made some valuable suggestions, many of these were places that despite being an knowledgeable world traveler, I couldn't have come up with myself scouring the web. A long time resident of the Cape area, his deep knowledge of the area, much based on personal experience, was very helpful in creating an unique vacation. He steered me away from the "mass market tourism" places and created a truly bespoke trip. The Winchester Boutique Hotel in Cape Town he chose was exactly what I was looking for and the Tintswalo Atlantic Hotel in Hout Bay was absolutely breathtaking. He was also a great resource for local restaurants & experiences in Cape Town and wine country. He found me an unique, beautiful cottage on a vineyard in Franschhoek. I absolutely loved the area and enjoyed visiting the wineries. Two thumbs up for steering me to Franschhoek over Stellenbosch .. where most people would typically go. The final destination he directed me to was the Cederberg wilderness area, a place which I never knew about. The Cederberg Simbavati Lodge he picked was a really unique facility, from the breathtaking scenery, to the tours/hikes offered to the custom meals and high touch service. All travel arrangements he made, such as domestic air travel, transfers etc. were flawless. It really helped my peace of mind and allowed me to relax and enjoy my vacation. This is the second time I have worked with Charles Howie, the previous trip one was to the Okavango Delta in Botswana. Charles is responsive, proactive and I really enjoy working with him.
