Kanuth Rocks!
5/5

This was my second trip with Kanuth Adventures Safaris before my first one to Mikumi National Park. Yet another wonderful trip this time to Selous Game Reserve. It is always fun to go out there to the wilderness with Kanuth and his team. Highly professional, carrying and happy team!!! It was great to be back on a bumpy roads with Kanuth and Tony and 14 volunteers. The boat safari was great with many birds, crocodiles and hippos to be spotted and mind blowing and spectacular sunset over the river! Drive game was intense and with many animals to be seen. You get to see how the reserve changes its colours from the down to dusk. Bush walking was my favourite with the local guide walking bunch of westerners through a crazy jungle. Fun Fun Fun!!! Highly recommend Kanuth for any Safari trips. I myself am planning third one with them to Serengeti this time.

We did 3 day safari to Selous. On one day we saw 4 of big five (Rhino impossible to see). Driver Samuel and chef both great guys. Excelent service in hippo camp. Saw a hippo in the river from our own Veranda.
Highly recommended

Perfect Honeymoon Safari
5/5

We had a 4-day private safari trip to Mikumi National park incl. visit to Udzungwa waterfalls. The whole tour was arranged just as perfect as possible. Pick up at htl was in time, car was clean, comfortable & huge as for 2 of us :) Our guide Toni is worth of special attention. He is a great guy. Toni made his best for us to see 4 of Big Five (believe it's not so easy in Mikumi). If you travel to Mikumi, we highly recommend to stay at Angalia Tented Camp. Actually Kanuth Adventures booked it for us according to our special request (usually they offer Tan Swiss Lodge) , it was their 1st booking indeed, but now I think it's not the last :) This place if worth visiting- real nature at its best!!! Overall, it was awesome! Thanks to Kanuth Adventures for making our honeymoon safari unforgettable!!! Next time in Tanzania we will definitely book new trip at Kanuth Adventures.

First of all it was a great trip with an experienced crew. First day we went for boat safari, where we saw crocs, hippos and birds. The second day, we went to Selous game reserve where we saw almost every animal we could see there. There is known fact that lions are not so abundant in Selous, and you have to go to Serengeti to see them. But with this crew, everything is possible. We searched for a while, but Kanuth and his crew managed to find lions and other animal living there. The third day was a walking safari. It was quite interesting due to how close we were to the wild elephants, and at the same time within a safe distance. We stayed at the Hippo camp, close to animals habitat. Therefore the experience was more intense since we practically lived one with the nature. The staff of Hippo camp were polite and helpful, and food was outstanding. Kanuth and his crew really knew the animals habitat and gave us a good experience. Highly recommended!

Great experience!
5/5

We went on a 3 day tour with Kanuth Adveture Safaris and had the same planning as the previous review. And we would defenitely do it again!!!
We really enjoyed the boat safari on the first day and we saw loads of birds, crocos, Hippos and a monitor lizard thanks to our capitain who was good in spotting the animals.
We enjoyed stay at the Hippo camp, found it very nice and beautiful with the river, the staff was friendly and helpful. Also the food was really good and we enjoyed the game drive with Toni, who made sure that we've seen a lot of animals, including a lion having lunch. Also the walking safari was interesting, to make you discover the ecosystem with a closer look on traces and smaller animals like insects. We also liked the landscape a lot, which is beautiful with its lakes, the river, trees and the mountains in the background. The animals were quite shy which made the game drive more interesting, as it didn't feel like in a big zoo (that's what we heard some people saying about Serengeti) but we still saw a lot of them and sometimes very close. All in all we can highly recommend to go on Safari with Kanuth Adventure Tours, they are a very good choice and will try everything to make you get what you expect!

Kanut adventures, but without Kanut
5/5

We had bought a 3 day Safari in Selous game reserve, including river and walking safari. We stayed at the Hippocamp which is a lovely camp, where you really get the feeling of being in to the wild... We where lucky to see a lot of different animals on our driving safari and we also saw elephants on the walking safari, which were amazing. My girlfriend has been on the same safari the year before, so she knew what to expect, and sadly the safari didn't fully meet our expectations. But it was manly because we didn't have a good guide like Kanut him self. We told Kanut why we weren't fully satisfied and Kanut took actions immediately. Nevertheless we are planing a tour to Tanzania again next summer and we are planing to go with Kanut adventures again.

Excellent first safari
5/5

I went with my mom. It was both of our first safari, her first time to Africa and my first time to tanzania (though I have traveled to many other places in africa). Kanuth was professional throughout the whole process. I was only able to book the trip about a week before and was a bit worries that it would be too short a time to plan, but everything worked out perfectly. Our driver Emmenuel was friendly, professional, and spoke excellent English, and made the trip so much fun. We stayed at the Kinga lodge which was beautiful, clean, and with excellent staff. Saw all the animals on the safari except for elephants. Kanuth can arrange anything you want for your holiday as he also arranged for is a small trip to Zanzibar after the safari. Just tell him what you want to do and he can help you plan the logistics.

Excellent safari and very helpful staff
5/5

My girlfriend and myself went with Kanuth Adventure Safaris to a 3 day Selous safari. Our driver (Samuel) picked us up at the airport at 3:00 am. Turkish airlines lost our luggage, so Samuel called Kanuth and he talked with the lost and found staff, to send our luggage to the hotel in which we stayed after safari.

We were at Hippo camp which is very beautiful. Staff was very friendly and they made us feel like home. We had our own cook (Kanuth's brother), who served us very professionally. Samuel was trying very hard to show us as much animals as possible. He also told us a lot of interesting things about animals, their habbits, etc.

The funniest part of safari was walking safari with Bushman. This was fun!!!

When we came back to the hotel in Dar es Salaam, our luggage wasn't there (despite they had hotel adress, tel. number). Samuel and our cook offered to drive us to the airport to get our luggage. In the way back they drove us to the ferry ticket office (we got bussines class instead of economy class for the same price) and ATM. They spent additional 4 hours just to make things easier for us.

We would really recommend Kanuth Adventure Safaris. They care about you!

It was gorgeous.

A phantastic insight into the heart of Africa
5/5

Our journey (5 Europeans) with Kanuth was an unforgettable experience. Thanks to Kanuth we gained insight into a whole universe of undiscovered wildlife, cultural diversity and daily life in Africa. Kanuth is perfectly organized, straightforward and serves not only as a linguistic translator, but has also a sense of making African culture comprehensible for "Mzungos".
I can only warmly recommend the "Kanuth experience".
