The Crater
Had a wonderful experience. Loved seeing all of the animals. The views were fabulous with all of the terrain differences. Thanks for a great experience. Our guide was so helpful with information and no questions were left unanswered. I would choose them again!

My dream trip come true thanks to Tanzania Choice!
I had been planning my dream trip to Tanzania since 2009 in my head. After being recommended by a friend to use TCS as my tour company, Brenda and I talked via Skype various times so that she knew exactly the type of traveler I was and the things I wanted in my trip. I knew from the very first phone call in October that I was working with a spectacular company. Her questions, attention to detail, and suggestions proved that she would design a trip that she 100% believed would be perfect for me. And boy, did she deliver!!!
From the minute we arrived, my group and I were treated with unbelievable hospitality. Brenda and Kakasii went above and beyond to show us rural life in Tanzania in their home, which included a traditional barbeque, walks in the community and campfires with family members. In addition, they coordinated our mountain guide come and check our gear! The meeting was invaluable! Being able to show Festo our supplies and have him walk through each day was us, put our nerves to rest. The following day, Brenda, Kakasii and their twins, traveled 3 hours (and 3 hours back!) with us just to set us off on our trek. Their diligence to making sure we were taken care of proved to us again that they valued their clients immensely!
After our successful climb, they waited for us with open arms to celebrate our accomplishment! The following day, we continued on to our safari! Kakasii was more than just a safari guide, he quickly became our friend as he enthusiastically showed us all the incredible animals and birds that the parks offered. Every day on the safari his passion exuded and made every day a unique and amazing experience.
Between the Safari and Zanzibar, Brenda and I designed a day in the school they support. Brenda and I worked together to construct something that would be special for both the school and for our group. It turned out to be an unforgettable experience for both parties! We finger painted, read books, sang and danced with students and teachers. The day allowed us to learn more not only about the places of Tanzania, but the people too!
Lastly, we traveled to Zanzibar. Brenda and family traveled with us to the airport as we departed. It was hard to say goodbye as this tour company had turned into friends! What started as a dream vacation turned into so much more! I was leaving Tanzania with more than the accomplishment of making it to the top to Kilimanjaro- I was leaving with new friends with unique lasting memories! For Brenda and Kakasii, it’s more than just putting some hotels together and showing you some animals; Brenda and Kakasii attend to their clients with personal attention, hospitality and warmth!

Excellent Safari to Ngorongoro Crater with Kakasii
The entire experience was professional, interesting, and FUN! Brenda and Kakasii made sure we knew exactly what to expect, answered all of our questions leading up to the trip, and just made the whole process easy. Kakasii was an excellent guide. We learned about the crater, the animals, and the Maasai culture. He made sure we saw as many animals as possible and answered our many, many questions with patience. I would definitely use Tanzania Choice Safaris again if given the opportunity.

Incredible Once in a Lifetime Journey!

Amazing Tanzanian Safari
The safari exceeded my expectations for seeing wildlife. I had taken a 2 day safari and saw everything I had hoped to see. The driver, Kakasii, was an experienced local who knew the parks and the animal hangouts like none of the other companies. His eye for spotting animals in the brush and trees was phenomenal. Communication was a breeze with Kakasii's perfect English and his enthusiasm and friendly demeanor made the trip a blast. If I plan another safari, it will definitely be with these guys. The Safari lived up to expectations and then some. I have been to Africa 12 times, and Tanzania six times. My standards are high, and Tanzania Choice Safaris exceeded my expectations. It is because of the wonderful team that leads this company. It is a husband-and-wife team that is unmatched. Kakasii in the field, and Brenda in the office. Communications were prompt and perfect, and Kakasii's English is excellent along with his knowledge of fauna, flora and animal life in Tanzania . Very simply, the best Safari I've ever taken.
Best way to enjoy Tanzania's Game Parks.
Tanzania Choice safaris far exceded all of our expectations. The knowledge of our guide, Kakasaii, insured that we would be in the right place at the right time to maximize each moment of our trip. Far before we arrived in Tanzania, we were supplied with a well planned itinerary, with all of the information needed so we would not be faced with in-country surprises. When we return to continue Tanzania's wonderful game parks, there is no question that we will use Tanzania Choice Safaris as our host. Anyone reading this should make the same choice!

Absolutely the best
This was my third time on safari with our guide, Kakasii, but the first since the inception of this company in late 2013. The first time was in 2009 and the second was in the summer of 2013. Both of my previous times were in larger groups, but this most recent trip was just me and a friend. While I might be slightly biased because I've never traveled with another safari company, I think Tanzania Choice might be the best company available for safari trips in Tanzania! From my first email inquiry about this trip to our final game drive in Ngorongoro Crater, every detail was attended to and each question answered with care and efficiency! On the office side, Brenda was prompt and detailed in email correspondence, and was able to help us organize our other travel plans in Tanzania; she was able to squeeze every possible dollar out of our limited budget to still give us a full and interesting itinerary. While on safari, Kakasii worked hard to get us the best game viewing experience and accommodate requests for animals we wanted to see; his knowledge of all the animals is almost infinite, and he is one of the best when it comes to finding some of the more rare animals! Seriously, there is no need to look at any other companies; you will not be disappointed if you choose Tanzania Choice. I cannot recommend them enough! Side note about parks: this was my first trip into Tarangire National Park (our substitute for the Serengeti on this trip) and it was absolutely amazing! If you weren't planning on making the trip there, I would recommend trying to fit an overnight in Tarangire into your itinerary! Absolutely fantastic.
