Ben was knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating.
I researched a lot of different tour companies for my wife and I's honeymoon. It was our first time ever doing a safari and our first time ever in Tanzania. Tanzania Choice made our experience absolutely seamless. From the moment we landed, we were met by our amazing tour guide, Ben. He brought us straight to our hotel in Arusha that night, and we went on our 4-day safari after that. Ben was an amazing tour guide who genuinely loves what he does and was just as interested in finding and watching the animals as we were. All our accommodations we were brought to were comfortable and had excellent food. We especially enjoyed the Central Serengeti Bush Camp. There's no way to properly express how much we were able to see. We chose to do a shorter safari than most might but were still able to see so much in those 4 days at Ngorogoro Crater, Ndutu, and the Serengeti. Brenda was able to organize a flight from the Serengeti to Zanzibar, where we spent the remainder of our honeymoon, which no other company I researched was able to do. When we went to Zanzibar, I messaged Brenda with 1 day notice before we flew over there to see if their Zanzibar staff could bring us on some excursions. They were very easily able to organize this for us and even pick us up from the airport in Zanzibar for much cheaper than our hotel was charging for transport. The excursions in Zanzibar were awesome too and our guide in Zanzibar was also extremely friendly and knowledgeable.
Bottom line is that Tanzania Choice was fantastic and well worth the money we spent. If and when we ever go back to do another safari in Tanzania, we will absolutely book with them again.

Fantastic, bucket list adventure
Tanzania Choice was a wonderful choice for our first trip to Africa. I wanted both a cultural experience and a safari full of wildlife and they came through. Our private guide, Leslie, had a vast knowledge of the 4 parks we visited and was such a great, fun guy. The communication from when I first reached out to Brenda for information to the day we were dropped off at the airport at the conclusion was top notch, everything was taken care of.

Amazing experience, could not have asked for better!
We went on safari in Feb and visited Ngorongoro, Ndutu and the Serengeti. Our experience could not have been better! Our guide Ben was amazing and went above and beyond. Brenda was incredible to work with and made all logistics work easily and efficiently. Thank you so much to the team!

Kakasii is King of the Safari Guides!
Tanzania Choice Safaris worked with us to create a safari itinerary that perfectly fit our safari experience requests. Brenda reworked our itinerary more than once to fit our requests. Kakasii was with us for our entire safari, staying at the bush camp with us. He took us to different areas each day, and we were in the vehicle all day looking at God’s beautiful creation. Amazing up-close and personal views of animals that we only see in a zoo in the US. Putting his years of tour operator experience to work, Kakasii would expertly place our vehicle right in the path of lions, zebras, elephants, and even more animals. These animals would walk right in front of our parked vehicle and practically pose for photos. I know I keep saying amazing, but it truly was AMAZING! The other guides knew and respected Kakasii, as they would share information along the way about animal locations.
I would be remiss if I failed to brag on the accommodations, which exactly fit our requests. Our tents at the Korongo Luxury Camp were truly luxurious. They were closer to luxury cottages than tents. The shower had better water pressure than ours at home, and the living area was so comfortable. The king sized bed was heavenly! We slept so well. The food was top-notch, every single meal. We were so spoiled! There were no fences to keep animals out, but we felt safe. An escort after dark was just a walkie-talkie call away. The animals really don’t want to mess with humans. However, it was cool to hear them nearby. I felt safe, and I didn’t expect to.
Our day in the Ngorongoro Crater was pure magic! It felt like Noah had emptied the ark right there in that hole. Everywhere we looked, we saw beauty and God’s majesty. We saw large groups of animals living side by side, zebras, baboons, elephants, gazelles, lions, rhinos, hippos, etc. What a day! Imagine our joy as we watched 3 mother lionesses walk right in front of us with their 6 cubs! We could not have scripted a better day looking at animals. It was like Kakasii knew our safari checklist, and he fulfilled it.
I highly recommend Tanzania Choice Safaris. You won’t regret going with an experienced company that knows how to make the most of your safari dollars.

They were an amazing partner in my dream trip, from planning to the road.
I had been planning this trip for years, and when it came down to actually getting an itinerary and budget together, and changing that itinerary too many times, Brenda and the team were always ready to help. They were extremely flexible and supportive as the numbers in our party changed, and flexible catering to all f our travel needs. Brenda even arranged for us to participate in a dance workshop - a first for the cultural center! (I highly recommend this activity BTW.) Joseph, our guide was THE BEST. We didn't miss a single animal thanks to his expertise and keen eye, and we learned so much from him along the way. He was absolutely lovely, as was the entire experience. Thank you!

Top pick for a once in a lifetime trip - so grateful
Planning my first safari with Tanzania Choice Safaris has been more than I could have hoped for. From detailed and clear pre-trip documentation, to a custom itinerary catering to the needs of a pack of 50 plus women (we need a lot, haha) to a pre-trip briefing call to banish any lingering uncertainties, Brenda went above and beyond to ensure we were prepared and excited for our trip. From the moment we landed to being dropped off at the airport, the team went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed while still relaxing and enjoying ourselves.
Now to the safari itself...absolutely amazing. I have traveled extensively my entire life; low budget / high budget and everything in-between. I've seen and done some pretty cool and unique things, but this was arguably the greatest trip of my life. Everyone who has seen my photos comments on the look of joy on my face in every single one. I felt like I was given a true gift. Part of that would be the innate splendour of Tanzania and Zanzibar but also the incredibly high quality of the tour operators who planned and executed our safari. And I would be remiss to not call out Joseph "The Machine" as an unparalleled tour guide who not only kept us safe while showing us everything possible, but also shared stories of his own life with a generosity of spirit and kindness that truly made a lasting impact. One of us might have shed a little tear upon saying our goodbyes to him. We will all miss his laugh and easy smile.
If I am lucky enough to ever make it back to Tanzania, I would not hesitate to book with Tanzania Choice Safaris again. Highly recommended.

Kakasii was so knowledgeable and friendly!
From the very beginning, our experience with Tanzania Choice Safaris was top notch. Brenda took the time to plan a customized itinerary for our group of 4 and communicated quickly. We were blessed to have her husband, Kakasii as our guide and what a guy! He's so knowledgeable, knows all the other guides and did everything he could to make our safari experience memorable. Brilliant
It was my birthday at the end of January and I wanted something special for it. I briefly advised the team at Tanzania Choice Safaris what I would imagine my budget to include. What they organised for me exceeded my expectations and made my experience unbelievably beautiful and exciting. The accommodation was handpicked and excellent, the food was amazing.
