Fantastic Tanzanian Safari Company!
5/5

Our entire experience with Best Day was amazing! From the beginning Peter was great with communication and completely accommodating towards our needs. Our guide, Joseph, was amazing! Very experienced and such a lovely person. He was really good at spotting the animals and telling us loads of interesting facts about them. The package we went for was perfect! We managed to see the big 5 and loads more! The accommodation included was also superb! Sleeping in the centre of the Serengeti is definitely one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had. I would highly recommend this company! They are a local small company that go above and beyond to create the best experience for you and wow, what an experience they create!

bestday safari = best safari operator
5/5

Our trip with bestday safaris was great. We chose tents as our accomodation and sleeping in your tent with hyenas laughing, zebras and buffalo grazing just next to your tent and even lions walking through camp at night and hearing them roar in the distance was an epic experience.

The guys from Bestday make sure that you don't have to worry about anything. From pick up from and drop off to the airport (in prize included), everything is taken care of.
Our driver Six was awesome as he always managed to show us the animals we wanted to see next and not only telling us stuff about the animals but also about the people and experiences in his life. Emanuel was the best chef by not only serving us the best food we had in Tanzania but also always checking on us and making sure we are allright.

All that for the best prize you can propably get I don't know why you wouldn't book a safari at Bestday... you won't regret it.

Unbelievable Safari Experience!!!!!
5/5

I would highly recommend Best Day Safaris for your next safari. This company went above and beyond to make sure my experience was one of a lifetime.
The accommodations were excellent with friendly and professional staff. My tour guide Jackson was incredible. Super friendly and outgoing as well as incredibly knowledgeable of all the animals, plants, and surroundings. Coming from the US I was very concerned about obtaining a Covid test to return. The travel.gov site indicated that I would not be able to get my test back within the time required. Best Day Safaris not only assured me I would receive the results in time; they took the responsibility of taking me to pay for the test at the bank and then escorted me to the hospital to get the test. This was not included in the package I purchased. They did this out of complete kindness.
I loved every minute of my vacation from the breathtaking landscapes to the vast amount of animals in their natural environment. I was hesitant to visit the Massai but I can tell you that they were extremely welcoming and excited to invite us into their village. I would recommend stopping in to learn how they are living with the land.
I will be returning to the Serengeti and will be doing it with Best Day Safaris has my tour company of choice!!!!!

Overall good, but a couple of issues.
4/5

I booked the 4-day Small Group to Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater. The booking process was easy and all my questions were answered.
The driver, Julius, was very nice. He ensured we had enough water, communicated with the other drivers to find out where the animals were, ensured the truck was in a good position to take photos and that generally everyone was okay.
We were extremely lucky with the animals we saw; I think even Julius was surprised how lucky we were.
Overall the accommodation was excellent, especially the camp in the Serengeti. The food was delicious and plentiful, though there is a restrictive choice.
Two issues stops the rating from being Excellent is that the trip includes a free hotel stay in Arusha at the beginning or at the end of the trip. The hotel I stayed in was basic, though for the rest of the tour the accommodation was excellent. The other people on the tour booked their accommodation independently and it wasn't great. I think that generally accommodation in Arusha isn't a high standard.
The second issue was I had requested for a pick-up from the airport to the hotel, as part of my booking. It was not until the last day of my tour, in the middle of a game drive, I was told that I had to pay an additional US$90 for the pick-up/drop-off at the airport. Though, it was cheaper than arranging a taxi, I did not appreciate finding out on my last day, on a game drive, that there was still a significant payment to be made. There is no mention in the Price Excludes list of the airport pick-up/drop-off; my tour in Uganda picked me up and dropped me off at the airport at no additional cost.

Amazing safari with breathtaking experiences
5/5

My mother (65yrs!) And I have just finished our 5 day safari with BestDay and it was absolutely incredible. It exceeded all of our expectations. Our amazing guide, Jackson, went the extra mile to make sure we had the best experience. We saw all the Big 5 and much much more! It was well organized and the accommodation and food was amazing. Even catered for me as a vegetarian. Breathtaking scenery and wildlife encounters. This Safari is a must!!!

Wonderful experience in Tarangire with a friendly and knowledgeable guide
5/5

I had a few extra days in Arusha after some work finished early and planned a last minute trip with Bestday Safari to Tarangire park. The entire experience as excellent and they took care of everything, including lunch. I'm so glad I went with Bestday - the guide, Goodluck, was perfect for the trip. Because I was going alone, I thought it might be awkward with just me and the driver, but Goodluck was friendly and warm and helped me practice my Swahili all day. In the park itself, Goodluck was informed about the animals and shared lots of interesting facts about them. He also was great at communicating with other drivers about different animals spottings. Because of this, I got to see a cheetah with its cub, and even see it take off after an impala, elephants just meters away from the truck, and two different groups of lions. Goodluck lived to his name and provided a memorable trip to Tarangire.

Overall, I thought the trip was well priced ($330 total) for a last minute individual trip, the truck was in great condition, and the guide was great.

Private Safari in May (Serengeti Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara)
5/5

Did a private safari with BestDay with guide Josef. I booked everything (airport pickup and pre and post stay) from Bestday. This safari company is locally owned and they do their best to accommodate your needs. I had Wonderfull experience. My guid Josef was amazing. He has amazing ability to spot animals and birds. Since it was rainy season we were able to see many birds also. He prides himself in making customer happy. i.e I really wanted to see Cheetas and he drove around 150km in search of cheetah and we finally spotted it on ant hill.

BestDay safari also has tented camps (Tukaone Tented Camp). They are clean and well maintained camp. Food was amazing.

From my experience and also based on recommendation by Josef 2 days in Serengeti is ideal.

I was able to see all big five and numerous other animals. I also added Masai experience and Olduvai Gorge museum. Josef accommodated both visits and he also guided when is the best time to visit these places during safari.

Bestday exceeded all my expectations!
5/5

Me and my boyfriend did a 6 day Safari with Bestday and was very satisfied with rour trip. We got to see all the animal we had hope to see and ticked the big 5. Our guide and driver was from a Masai village which made us getting to know the indigenous culture both from him and also from other Masai as he would speak their language and tell us about the culture. The lodges was good standard and the food was OK. All in all we are very happy with our trip and would recommend going with this company and especially the guide Jackson!

Excellent safari with Jackson
5/5

We just got back from a 6 day safari with Bestday Safaris and Jackson as our guide and driver. Let me just start by saying that Jackson made the whole trip! He is extremely knowledgeable about all the animals and most of the plants, you could ask him anything and he would give you detailed answers on everything :) Jackson took us in all the right places both in the Serengeti, Ngorongoro crater, Tarangire and Lake Manyara which enabled us to mark all of the big five! We had a truly fantastic experience and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to go with Bestday and with Jackson!

The most incredible experience and best priced safari-expertly handled from beginning to end.
5/5

This trip was number 1 on my bucket list-I was a travel agent years ago and always wanted to go on a safari but the cost was prohibitive. I also quizzed flight attendants on their recommendations for the best safari-hands down Tanzania for the most animals. When I searched for safaris on the internet, Best Day Safaris came up and I couldn't believe the prices. I had the best driver, Roman, and was by myself the first day-then joined by 2 other ladies on the second day. The accommodations were first rate, the food incredible and there were so many animals I can't even begin to name them all. The day I left I woke up early-heard a rustling outside-pulled the curtain and there was an elephant right outside my window. I believe he was saying goodbye-or don't leave. I would say this safari was a once in a lifetime experience-but I hope to do it again.
