Welcoming, full of heart and passion in every detail!
This safari in Tanzania touched our heart in a way we will never forget. From the very first contact with Lilian and the Zohar team and then again from the very first moment of the safari, there was a feeling of warmth, passion, and genuine care. Solo, our guide truly loved and respected the nature, the animals and the stories behind them, and that made every moment feel special. We learned so many things from Solo and we still try to understand how he could spot all these animals while driving, hehe. We are more than thankful to meet Solo and we will definitely book another safari with Zohar and especially with Solo!!!
We were travelling to Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti Nationalpark, the tour that Lilian has recommended at a time were it was not crowded and the weather was perfect! We are happy that we completely listened to their recommendation as they really know best! We felt very good in each Camp, lodge and hotel. We stayed at Lolkisale, which was our favourite from all the camps. We fell in love with the Melia at Ngorongoro, had the greatest food at Lake Masek Tented Lodge, met the most wonderful guys at Singing Grass Camp and had a lovely last leisure day at Four Seasons.
While driving and sometimes spotting different safari cars, you could already tell, that they are not organized with so much passion and love to the details like Zohar is.
Our safari car was so well prepared and in such a great condition and Solo took care, that it stayed like that for our whole trip.
Zohar and especially Solo managed to fulfill all our wishes and dreams. We will carry the moments with us forever. We can recommend this safari with all our heart; it’s truly something extraordinary.

Family trip with the Zohar team
In October 2025, my family (six people) and I traveled to Tanzania. We spent a total of 11 days on safari with the Zohar team. We started in the northern part of the country and focused on the Great Migration for several days. These days were filled with unimaginably large herds of animals and spectacular river crossings. Afterwards, we traveled to the central part. Here, we saw many lions, a total of seven leopards, and over 20 cheetahs. As a family, we had always hoped to witness a hunt on previous African safaris, but before this trip, we had never had the opportunity. Thanks to our excellent guide, Solomon, we were able to experience three land hunts this year. Solomon was always able to accurately predict what the animals would do next, even if there was a long wait before the final hunt. Solomon also distinguished himself through his incredible eyesight. Every few minutes, he spotted a new animal, hidden in a tree or lying almost invisible on the ground in the distance. Throughout our entire trip, the Zohar team, and especially Solomon, were incredibly flexible and accommodating to our family's needs and wishes, making this journey even more memorable and impactful. Solomon truly stands out compared to other guides we've had on previous holidays, and we will do everything we can to book him again when we travel to Africa. Thank you so much!

Great, animal-rich experience!
This October, we went on a safari with Zohar as a family of six. I highly recommend this travel company. We spent our 11-day safari in the northern and central parts of the Serengeti. With our fantastic guide, Solomon, we spent 11 hours each day in the Serengeti. Of course, we could have shortened the days or planned them differently, depending on our preferences. But this wasn't necessary, because Solomon was able to tell us so many interesting and exciting things about nature and wildlife. He is also an excellent guide who understands, protects, and respects nature and wildlife. We were able to see all of the Big 5 in just a few days and enjoy them without many other tourists. The selected camps were very beautiful and had great amenities and food. We always enjoyed breakfast and lunch (which was always plentiful and delicious) in the Serengeti in a lovely shady spot, usually under a tree. We had a truly wonderful, family-friendly trip, where our personal ideas and wishes were very well taken into account. Many thanks to Solomon, who was able to show us so many amazing animals and often spotted them before the other guides.
I highly recommend traveling with Zohar to anyone who wants to truly get to know and appreciate African nature and wildlife.

Wonderful safari-trip with an outstanding guide
We traveled with our family (six people in total) with Zohar in the Serengeti for two weeks at the beginning of October. The entire trip was extremely well organized, with comprehensive documentation provided in advance and a separate briefing before departure. Zohar gave us very detailed information on all the important points.
On the safari, our guide Solomon amazed us with his ability to spot animals even from a great distance and always put us in a very good position for wildlife viewing without disturbing the animals. He was an outstanding safari guide.

Unforgettable Safari Experience
Our safari with Zohar Safaris was truly unforgettable. Everything was well-organized, and the lodges matched our preferences and budget perfectly — especially Nyumbani Camp in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, both exceptional.
Our guide Nathan was incredible — knowledgeable, kind, and truly passionate about wildlife. His love for birdwatching inspired us too, and we spotted so many beautiful birds while learning a lot from him. He even made sure we got front-row views of the great wildebeest crossing — twice!
Nathan is also a talented photographer, always carrying his long-lens camera and taking amazing photos for us — something we didn’t see other guides do.

Exceptional attention to detail and comfort of the guests
Had an epic trip organized by Zohar African Safaris. The build up to the bucket list experience of the Great Migration was great. Had a superb guide in Daniel who was great company as well as an excellent driver and knowledgable guide. Daniel managed to let us witness the Mara River crossing twice!! How lucky were we?
The care this company provides before, during and even after the trip was fabulous. Highly recommend Zohar for your safari in Tanzania - even if it's not Great Migration time.

It’s been a week since we returned from our unforgettable journey to Tanzania — and we’re still in awe! This once-in-a-lifetime adventure exceeded every expectation we had.
I began planning this trip for our group of eight adults about a year ago, researching several local safari companies before choosing Zohar Safari — and I’m so glad I did. From the very first message, Lillian was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly prompt in answering every question. Together, we crafted a perfect 8-day itinerary combining thrilling game drives, a breathtaking hot air balloon experience, and meaningful cultural encounters — all beautifully balanced for adventure and relaxation.
The accommodations, from migration camps to boutique lodges, were superb — comfortable, authentic, and perfectly located. Zohar’s safari jeeps were also impressively well-equipped, stocked with everything from snacks and water to wipes and even toilet paper — details that made a big difference out in the bush.
Our guides and drivers, Solomon and Goodluck, were truly exceptional — real professionals who became friends by the end of the trip. They are funny, knowledgeable, and passionate about wildlife and nature. They were always punctual, organized, and calm behind the wheel (even on the bumpiest trails!). Solomon’s eagle eyes amazed us all — he could spot a leopard napping in a rocky cave from nearly a mile away! Thanks to his expertise, we witnessed the Great Migration — wildebeest crossing the Mara River while crocodiles lurked below — a breathtaking, heart-pounding sight we’ll never forget. Oh, and he also makes a great “bush bartender” during sunset sundowners! 🍹
What touched us most was how genuinely the Zohar team made us feel like family. They surprised us with birthday celebrations, took care of every detail, and even fulfilled my husband’s special request — helping him capture a photograph of a baobab tree under the Milky Way for his astrophotography project. That moment alone was pure magic.
