5/5

Heritage of African Jungles was from the beginning on top of the planning , quick reply, flexible in choice of lodge /camps special thanks to Gladys and Naomy.
The guys driving and taking care of the daily game drive really gave us the whole package ,we saw it all . for that special thanks to Sammi and Peter
The trip included 8 days safari AMBOSELI-NAKURU-MASAI MARA with extras such as , balloon trip, and a day in Nairobi visit to Karen Blixen and Sheldrick elephant orphanage
All arranged by Heritage of African Jungles ,never did we doubt the company ,and never did we wait for anything , best recommendation from us.

Great value, amazing safari
5/5

My husband and I did the 3 day 2 night Amboseli trip in the Kibo lodge, starting and from and ending in Nairobi. Our guide was Peter - we loved that he was always early. We had our own safari van with a pop-up roof, which was fine for Amboseli and great for pictures. Naomi answered all of our questions, and met us before the trip to complete our payment. She was very professional -- and I appreciated that when I sent my inquiry, the price never changed (except the credit card surcharge, which is usual). Kibo Lodge was a nice place, and we were also easily able to add on a visit to a Maasai Village that was walking distance from Kibo. For anyone else planning the trip, it took us about 4.5 hours to get to Amboseli on Thursday morning, but over 5 hours to get back to Nairobi due to construction on the highway on Saturday afternoon.

Professional and excellent safari tour partner.
5/5

Everything was awesome during the whole trip. Our guide "Peter" was professional, friendly, funny, skilled, experienced and cooperative. He gave us lot of information about the local wildlife and culture and generally about Kenya and Africa.
The accommodations were extraordinary. The Sopa Lodge franchise. African style architect and design. Excellent and varied food service. Friendly and professional staff.
The safari experience was also perfect with the optional bike and boat tours. The optional tour guides are also professional. We saw clear and closely lot of animal. We checked the Big Five except leopard. Our guide made everything to show us leopard but we didn't have luck.
We were satisfied with everything. We strongly recommend this safari company to everybody.

Heritage of African Jungles is the Best!
5/5

We are family of four booked 5 days (4nts) mid-range safari with Heritage of African Jungles to Amboseli, Lake Nakuru and 2 nights to Masai Mara. After researching and comparing price on the Safari Bookings website, we decided to go with Naomi (owner) because we found she was competitive, trustworthy and flexible with the payment options after reading reviews on the trip adviser. Naomi and her assistant Gladys efficiently respond to all our questions without any hidden costs. We stayed at our preferred camps Amboseli Serena, Sarova Lionhill and Ashnil Mara camp which are within the park so you have more time for games. As a vegetarian family we found food was excellent and staff were helpful. We paid 25% as deposit and the rest on arrival.

Naomi came to greet us up at Nairobi airport and transfer to the hotel for trip briefing. Francis our driver/guide was best and flexible with timing. He was brilliant with jungle knowledge where to spot the animal and will go out of his way to make sure that we are happy. With extremely good driving skills he managed to take on a wet and muddy Masai Mara without any problem. It was amazing to be so close to the animals and was best moment of our life. We saw the big five and many other animals and birds. In Masai Mara our lodge was on Mara river where we spotted crocodile and group of hippos in the river from the camp restaurant.

We thank Francis for many unforgettable moments including leopard hunting for food, lions with the cubs and a pair of cheetahs relaxing. He is one of the best most importantly he treats us as friends and brought us back safely. We have made right chose going with Naomi and saving money using 4 wheel minivan than paying extra for a land cruiser offered by other operators.

We highly recommended Naomi and her team at Heritage and grateful to provide us with memorable safari & wonderful experience.

Trip of our lifes
5/5

We are a couple and we did a extreamely good Safari with Heritage of African Jungles to Amboseli- Lake Nakuru- Masai Mara and Lake Naivasha.
Everything was very good and nice. We had the greattest experience of our lifes in Kenya.
Our guide/ driver, Francis, was a extremelly good and pleasent to us, his job was really amazing always in a good mood, teaching us a lot about (wild)life in Kenya. On the roads as well as in the parks, Francis has been a very careful driver, paying high attention to our well-being and always made sure that we are happy. Within the parks, he knows where to spot the rare animals and we thank him for many unforgettable moments including Cheetahs eating what they had hunted, lions with their cubs, breathtaking sunsets and much more. We going recommend him to our friends who want to do a Safari in kenya and of course this agency.
All in all, we must thank Naomi and her team for all the effort to make our trip a journey unforgettable and to remember.

African Jungles created an absolutely amazing experience for us - we highly recommend this agency!
5/5

Please find below our experiences with African Jungles and the team (especially with Naomi, our safari agent, and Peter, our driver)

The tour & destinations:
In the beginning, we booked a fix tour to Ol Pejeta and the Samburu Conservancy as well as some city trips within Nairobi. However, we also had some private tours organized by ourselves but Naomi made everything possible so that our already planned trips fit perfectly into the travelling schedule. Additionally, as we experienced some troubles with an external driver, Naomi very short termed organized some transfers for us what we highly appreciated. Every transfer was ontime, the driver was on site even before we were supposed to meet and we never felt "lost" or somewhat similar during the whole trip.

The parks as well as the trips (Giraff Center, Safari Walk, Nairobi National Park and Sheldrick Center) gave an amazing insight into the Kenyan wildlife, we saw so many animals in their natural habitat (including big five elephants, rhinos, leopard, lion, buffalo) and the service at the camps was really good.
In Ol Pejeta, we joined the tented Sweetwaters Serena Camp. The camp is totally fine, staff is super friendly, weather was lovely and we saw many animals including the Chimpanzees at the sanctuary and the last northern white rhinos.
In Samburu, we joined the Ashnil Camp. The weather was rather hot and we experienced our first "Kenyan rain" but however, we had amazing game drives and the camp is very lovely as well as the staff. We saw many cats during our game drives but also giraffs, zebras and many more.

For Nairobi, we particularly recommend the giraff center (ever kissed a giraff in your life?) and Sheldrick Center as both conservancys do a really great and sustainable job. The Nairobi National Park is a great experience especially if you want to see rhinos and the Masai Giraff. The Safari Walk is a great experience in case you have not seen all cats during the game drives and to learn about how the rangers handle the wildlife at the parks.

We enjoyed every day to the fullest!

Communication & Service:
Getting in contact with African Jungles and Naomi was very easy and we always got very quick responses when we had questions or problems with our travelling schedule (even on the weekend or very late in the evening). Naomi was always very clear about the plans so we knew everything in detail right from the beginning and there were no "hidden costs" or anything else unexpected in the end. Everyone from African Jungles was even more than kind, helpful and always available for us. As our travel schedul was a little confusing in the beginning and we had some major changes during the planning phase, we also highly appreciated Naomi's patience and support.

Additionally, I would like to point out that we never had the feeling that the agency only wanted to "sell a tour" but asking about our goals and expectations, Naomi nearly customized our trip and gave very good advices on what to do and what not. We noticed this when we talked to some guest from other agencys during our stays at the camps where they complained about their agents not paying attention to what they actaully wanted to do.

The paymant was very easy, too, and even though our bank had no problems transferring the money, Naomi and her team also offered to assist in any case what gave us a good feeling.

When we arrived in Nairobi, there were some colleagues from the agency waiting for us at the airport so we instantly experienced a welcome-feeling and were super relexed about the trips ahead. Great!

Driver:
Our driver Peter did an amazing job, always in a good mood, teaching us a lot about (wild)life in Kenya. On the roads as well as in the parks, Peter has been a very careful driver, paying high attention to our well-being and always made sure that we are happy. Within the parks, he knows where to spot the rare animals and we thank him for many unforgettable moments including a hunting leopard, leopards and lions with their cubs, breathtaking sunsets and much more. Additionally, we also thank him for the patience when we needed to stop again for another 500 pictures of the same zebra we spotted 5 minutes ago ;-)

All in all, we must thank Naomi and her team for all the effort to make our trip a journey we will never forget - asante sana!

We highly recommend African Jungles and when we come back to Kenya for another vacation, we make sure to book our tours with them again.

5/5

From the beginning of my experience (booking the safari) to the end (transfer to Mombasa) we really could not ask for more - everything was perfect! The accommodation that we were given, our lovely driver Francis (we still miss him!) to our final drop off - everything was extremely professional and without any problems. Thank you very much Naomi for being the perfect organizer!

A great personalized experience
5/5

This tour operator really cares about their clients - Naomi was super helpful in arranging everything for our trip to Amboseli, even in booking an uber for me! The tour was personalized, not overcrowded (only two of us and the driver) and the accommodations were lovely. I would highly recommend!

Could not have been better! Wonderful Tour Operator!
5/5

We were really really pleased with this safari operator! Gladys and Naomi are total professionals. They helped us arrange a great safari despite having a shorter than average amount of time available. We were greeted at the airport even though our plane was late by hours. Communication was great and they arranged everything beautifully. Also... the lodge they arranged was surprisingly luxurious! Such a great job with the planning!

Our guide was Samwe, and he was a really cool guy ... which is important because you'll be spending lots of time with your guide. He was knowledgable, experienced, and very friendly. He helped us track down 4 of the Big 5, and clearly knew the Masai Mara reserve well. We were very appreciative that he was able to help us get to the park on the same day we arrived, despite us arriving in the afternoon. It was a long day of driving on some pretty rough terrain. We recommend asking for Samwe!

Use this safari operator! You won't be sorry!
