Amazing safari honeymoon
We chose to spend our honeymoon in Tanzania, booked with Simon at Mwema Safaris, and it was amazing.
Simon was always on hand throughout the planning and budgeting stages to help with recommendations on where to stay and what to see and do. He was able to offer various accommodation options, according to our budget, and we opted to stay mid-range rather than go to budget or 5* extremes, and we were very happy with our choices. Simon arranged all our transfers, accommodation, meals, park entries and we had an internal flight.
We opted to do a 4-day private safari and visited Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara (we are sociable people, but would totally recommend a private safari so you don't have any other group members to worry about!).
Our guide was aptly named Goodluck, and he was very friendly and knowledgable about the areas we were visiting and the animals - he was definitely our good luck mascot, as we were lucky enough to see 4 out of the Big 5 (no leopards in sight, but we did see tree-climbing lions, which was pretty awesome!).
We would definitely recommend Mwema Safaris and hope to be able to return and book with them again.

6 Days Safari Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngrongoro in tented camps
Firstly, I would like to thank Simon for the organisation of our safari. He always answered competent and fast all my questions. At the end everything was arranged according to our wishes. Unfortunately we had to adapt something at short notice and he did the upmost to help us.
Secondly, I would like to thank Kevin, our driver. He is not employed by Mwema Africa Safaris, but works closely together with Simon. Already on the evening before our safari started, he passed to check if we had arrived. We felt safe and well looked after during the entire safari. He was always friendly, answered with his vast knowledge all our dozens of questions and did everything to ensure that we had the best experience possible. In the National Parks, the roads may be in a state where even well maintained 4x4 cars may reach their limits. Therefore, we had some technical issues with the car, but Kevin found always a solution to the problem.
I would recommend Mwema Africa Safaris to anyone interested in booking a personalised, perfect Safari.

Excellent Safari with Mwema Africa
Simon from Mwema Africa Safari is very professional and provided be me with a fair quote for our custom safari in Tanzania (Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Serengeti). Everything went very smoothly since our first email and the trip was very well organized. This include all ground transportation from Kilimanjaro to Mwanza, national parks entrance fees, flight tickets from Wmaza to Kilimanjaro, up-scaled accommodation, great food, and of course very knowledgeable guide (Kevin) who knew where to look for animals and drove very safely.... Though I gave Muema Africa Safaris my itenerary for vacation within a short period of less than 12 hours at the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, all was arranged on time from hotel bookings, excursions arrangements for specific tour destinations at reasonable rates, with tour guides ready to receive us , and constant email followups and updates from Muema Africa Safaris, thus, my family holiday for 3 days was full of wonders and surprises all well co-ordinated courtesy of Muema Africa Safaris. Our first great safari
It was our first safari. But we really liked it. Simon is very responsible to all our requests. Helped to choose the best option for a safari, as well as a convenient payment system. Everything was organized at a high level. Our guide Anthony is very experienced. It seemed that he knew all the roads and all the best places. We look forward to our new trip together with Mwema Africa Safaris.

Excellent safari to Tsavo east and west
I arranged this safari right before I left the U.S. Once I left, I was out of further communication. I really appreciate Mwema coming through as they had stated before I left the States--it was a month until the actual safari, but they met me as expected. I highly recommend my safari guide, Edward. Besides being patient, knowledgeable, and kind, he had eagle eyes and was incredible at spotting game. The lodges were very nice, with loads of game right outside my window at both places. I highly recommend Mwema for trustworthiness, and for providing an excellent safari.

Outstanding
After receiving the offer for the tour I had to adjust some along the route points and the communication to fine tune the tour has been smooth and fast.
Very precise in timely manner, the driver Victor has performed his excellence and experience.
The tour (Amboseli, West and East Tsavo national parks-total 4 days, finishing in Diani Beach) was exceptional due to the professionalism of Victor, very grateful to him.
No problems at any moment, very reliable and easy going.
All recommendation, my family enjoyed every moment.
