What an Experience?
5/5

My tour started in Kampala and ended in Kigali. We begun with Kibale National Park for chimpanzee habituation experience! We had a greatime with Chimps in their natural environment.
We continued to Queen Elisabeth national park. I was so amazed to see the tree climbing lions along side many other animals. The boat cruise on kazinga channel is so amazing, sailing with hippos haha... It's a must do.

Gorilla tracking in Bwindi and volcanoes national Parks was the highlight of this safari. Everything is well organized in both gorilla parks. The registration at the headquarters, the briefing of the rangers, the walk through the foggy jungle is very exciting and adventurous. Luckily the park staff let the gorillas move freely in the forest. But meeting them is a very exciting moment: they are so close, so big, so peaceful ... and the babies are soooo cute, a must do in Africa. The trip was well planned, my tour driver / guide was excellent, the car was superb, air conditioned, comfortable with popup roof for perfect game viewing experience.

Inspired by The Late Dian Fossey
5/5

My dream for years was to visit Volcanoes National Park where, the late Dian Fossey (American primatologist, anthropologist and zoologist) spent close to 2 decades watching and studying the mountain gorillas and made incredible discoveries that strongly connect these giant apes to human being. I finally booked a trip with African Jungle Adventures through Mathias. My gorilla trip was perfectly organized.
The park is accessible by road from Kigali capital (90 minutes) through beautiful rolling hills that characterize much of Rwanda. Getting to the park there is really beautiful with fantastic views of the virunga mountains and beautiful people in Musanze.
The forest is incredible and reminded me of all the Tarzan movies I been watching since childhood. Gorilla tracking program is quiet tough and I realized I wasn't fit enough but I made it with assistance from my porter and really enjoyed.
We had very young and nice rangers, very knowledgeable and guided us through the Jungle. We tracked Karisimbi gorilla family and we walked through the forest for almost four hours, in an enchanted world, with fantastic views, and finally found Karisimbi group. This is a moment I can never forget in my life!!
I enjoyed the whole hiking and appreciate the wildness of VNP and the professionalism of the rangers as well as the kindness of our tour guide / driver (Bethwel)

1 Day Gorilla Tour from Kabale Town - Unbelievable!!
4/5

None of us believed that we could successfully take a one day gorilla trip to Bwindi forest Park until we landed on this package on Jungle Safaris Uganda website. We were a group of 6 people with major interest to see gorillas in Uganda through this company. We were on tight budget and chose to take a bus from Kampala to Kabale town (8 hour drive). At Kabale we stayed at Bunyonyi Overland Resort, we were picked by a representative from Jungle Safaris Uganda at 0600hrs. We drove to Bwindi National Park where we tracked Bitukura family, it was such amazing experience! A tour to the gorillas in Uganda is expensive, but we spent little money on this tour, we saved on transport and accommodation by not using private means from Kampala to Kabale. We bought gorilla permits in advance at US dollars 600 each through this company. We had a great trip on our low budget!

Gorilla Tracking, Exciting Experience!
5/5

Going on a gorilla tour in Rwanda is a must do while on your safari in Africa. Our trip was perfectly organised by African Jungle Adventures. They quickly responded to my emails, and fully answered all my questions. Our main interest was to see the mountain gorillas in the forest and this was the highlight of the safari. However, you must be physically fit to successfully trek to the gorillas, and advised to hire a porter. Volcanoes National Park management awarded us certificated after the trek.

Great Gorilla Tracking Adventure with Specialists
5/5

We recently booked a 10 day gorilla tracking adventure in Uganda and Ruanda with African Jungle Adventures. We tracked mountain gorillas 3 times in 3 national parks namely; Volcanoes in Ruanda, Mgahinga and Bwindi Impenetrable Forest in South Western Uganda. However, you must be physically fit to make it through because it is quiet hectic especially in Bwindi forest. Ruanda is much easier to track if you choose a nearby gorilla family.

We also had a fantastic tour and big game drive around Queen Elizabeth National Park. A boat cruise along the Kazinga channel was fabulous; we saw hundreds of Hippos, Elephants, huge crocodiles and Buffaloes basking along the shores. Bird life is prolific. All lodges we used were perfect, we were offered us free wines. We stayed at Sabyinyo lodge in Volcanoes, Gahinga lodge in Mgahinga Park, Mahogany springs lodge in Bwindi and Mweya lodge in Queen Elizabeth Park. Mathias, the tour consultant from this Company was so fast in answering our emails, and responded to all our questions professionally.
We loved the hospitality of local people, are so friendly, always smiling and welcoming. Our tour guide Baker was fantastic, experienced and knowledgeable, he enable us see tree climbing lions and other interesting animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park. We traveled in a comfortable 4x4 land cruise. I strongly recommend this company.

Adventure for Life time in Rwanda
5/5

I traveled with African Jungle Adventure Company during my holiday in Rwanda last month. The was professionally organized, my Guide Kamya was so amazing, very knowledgeable about the country’s history, Culture and wildlife. Gorilla tracking was the highlight of my safari in Rwanda. I also saw chimpanzees in Nyungwe forest and golden monkeys in Volcanoes Park, all rewarding different experience. We traveled is a comfortable car Toyota Land cruiser, all lodges were all excellent, Nyungwe Forest Lodge was a real treat, especially having it all to myself on the second day of my visit. Gorilla View lodge could do with a refurbishment perhaps.
