Excellent and unforgettable Safari
5/5

Mike made my safari an unforgettable experience. He was always attentive to my wishes and needs and went above and beyond to ensure that I felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the trip.

I was particularly impressed by his professionalism and willingness to help. Whenever there were any uncertainties regarding the accommodation, he made every effort to assist me and worked hard to find the best possible solution.
His extensive knowledge, friendly personality, and passion for his work made my safari truly special.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Mike and would like to thank him for this wonderful experience.

Thank you Johnas! Amazing Safari!!
5/5

From the very first day and throughout the three days, we were able to see an incredible number of animals. We were especially fortunate to witness many rare and unforgettable moments, such as a cheetah hunting a gazelle, gazelles fighting each other, and even seeing rhinos up close. It was an extremely satisfying tour that provided us with so many valuable experiences.

In addition, our guide and driver, Johnas, was truly exceptional. He was incredibly kind, responded quickly to every request, and had outstanding knowledge about the animals, which allowed us to fully enjoy the safari experience.

There are many safari tour options in Tanzania, so it can be difficult to choose, but I would strongly recommend booking this tour!

Best Safari Experience
5/5

This was overall an incredible safari experience.

Context: I did a 3-day camping Safari (2 days Serengeti + 1 day Ngorongoro). I went solo and joined an existing group

1. The Guide: 5/5
Our Guide (Johnas) really made this trip what it was. He knew the Serengeti and Ngorongoro like the back of his hand. He could easily spot wildlife that we could barely see with binoculars and found hiding lions, cheetahs, and leopards very easily. Because of his skills, we easily saw the big 5 multiple times throughout our safari. He quickly named every animal we ran across and knew everything there is to know about them. It was extremely impressive. He also takes amazing pictures and videos of wildlife! We also faced a few logistical issues beyond his control which he handled super well without impacting our itinerary. Above all that, he was incredibly friendly. If you’re joining a safari trip, definitely ask for Johnas to be your guide.

2. The Chef: 5/5
The meals we’ve had were all incredibly delicious and well balanced. We always had a meat option, a vegetarian option, and some carbs + some fruits for lunch and dinner. The meals were always very delicious, which is especially impressive given the conditions he has to cook in. We really appreciated all his efforts (and he also always had an incredible playlist going on while cooking which we loved) 😊

3. Communication: 5/5
Avocet were always super helpful and responsive over WhatsApp no matter when I messaged them. They sent me a very clear and detailed itinerary for the trip (which gave me a clear sense of reliability and was one of the reasons I decided to go with them versus other organizers).

4. Organization & Logistics: 5/5
I was picked up and dropped off to my accommodation in Arusha as was everyone in the group. We didn’t need to worry about anything throughout the trip. Everything was clear and ready for us wherever we arrived. We also got upgraded to a lodge on our first night in the Serengeti where we saw some animals (eg dik-diks)
which was super nice. The second night we spent in Simba camp which was very nice cause we got to see buffaloes right outside our tents (!!!) but we didn’t really get to see the sunrise like we did in the camp.

Overall, I highly recommend going with Avocet and make sure to ask for Johnas. Personally, I’d also recommend going in mid may because it’s less crowded, the weather is nicer and we got to see much more wildlife than when I went to the Masai Mara in Kenya in July during the great migration.

Excellent!
5/5

I chose this company from among countless safari bookings because of its reasonable price and excellent experience 👍. I opted for a 6-day, 5-night Kilimanjaro trek, the Mechame route, plus a 2-day, 1-night safari trip to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. During the climb, the guides, including Sanga and Jackson, and their porter team were incredibly patient and kind, offering me a tremendous amount of help. The safari guides were also adept at spotting wildlife, especially in Ngorongoro. Armani took us to see a multitude of animals; Ngorongoro during the rainy season is truly breathtaking, like an oil painting. Hadija's responses were also prompt. I had originally booked a camp safari, but after the descent, I felt too exhausted and decided to upgrade to a lodge. They replied immediately after my email and arranged everything meticulously. I was even lucky enough to attend a local wedding at the lodge that day – a truly unique experience.

professional, well-organized, offering french and english speaking tour guides
5/5

We recently went on three- day joining safari, including Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP, and Ngorongoro Crater (April 2026) starting from Arusha. We really enjoyed our trip.

In particular, we were very happy with our tour guide, who was very helpful and knowledgeable and was able to answer all our questions. Most importantly, as our group consisted of English and French speakers, he was able to provide all the information in French and English, which was very impressive and and made all the difference for our group. The safari was also very well organized and everyone enjoyed the numerous animal sightings.

I would definitely recommend this safari and specially our guide, as he was able to accommodate English and French speakers equally well. Thank you for a great safari experience.

Incredible
5/5

I had an amazing experience visiting the Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. The guide Bakari was very patient, knowledgeable and friendly. He knew the good spots for photos, stopped the jeep anytime I wanted to take a photo (I took many) and was happy to impart his knowledge.

I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who is on the fence about booking, surely an experience you won’t forget.

Everything was planned efficiently, professionally and with us in mind.
5/5

We chose to do a 3-day safari that toured through the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro crater. It was truly the most amazing travel experience I have ever had. We were able to see over 15 species of animals, enjoyed DELICIOUS warm food prepared by our chef Selim and camp in some breathtaking spots. Our tour guide Humphrey was equally spectacular! He had tons of great information, navigated the roads very well (especially considering it was the rainy season) and took care of every detail perfectly. I truly couldn’t recommend an experience more.

Incredible experience
5/5

It was a unique and incredible experience, absolutely worth it. The place is one of a kind. Hussein was a fantastic driver—very kind, friendly, and attentive. You have to go to Ngorongoro at least once in your life; the feelings and energy of this place are indescribable. Thank you so much for joining us.
