First Class!
Outstanding service! From the time of our initial enquiry to our departure from Botswana we received excellent service and support from Gondwana. Communication was always timely and often almost immediate. The information provided for all aspects of our trip, both items such as health, visa requirements etc. and the options for safari locations, was accurate, relevant and very informative. For our six days we were located in two, first-class lodges/camps offering us exposure to two quite contrasted environments and habitats. The camps offered incredibly high-standard facilities and the transport between them efficient and reliable. It would be very difficult to find a tour operator as outstanding as Gondwana.

Highly efficient service and a well-planned trip
My husband and I recently enjoyed a trip to the Okavango Delta and Linyanti regions with Maun based Gondwana Tours & Safaris. In all it was a very well managed trip that followed a very well-thought-out itinerary, thanks to Mark Hathaway. Communication was always quick and responsive during the planning process, and information given was accurate and well-considered. This gave us huge confidence in the company and that everything would go as planned, which it most certainly did. No hiccups at all and we specifically appreciated the personal touch of being met at Maun airport both on the inward and outward journeys. We felt our individual trip objectives as seasoned bush-travellers were fully taken onboard and communicated onward to the camps we visited. As a result we had a fantastic and personalised few days in Botswana and would readily return, utilising the excellent support of Gondwana tours. Highly recommend!
Great safari organizers!
We have been to Botswana two times in three years. Both trips have been organized by Mark Hathaway at Gondwana. Mark is very knowledgeable, thorough, reliable and a pleasure to work with. His recommendations have been stellar, and both trips were superb. He has a wonderful knowledge of camps and area, and a very good sense ov values. We will use Gondwana again.

Beyond Expectations of a Tour Operator
By the time Mark had discussed our options, made the bookings and sent us his background information and FAQs, we felt supremely confident that we had booked with the right organisation and that all would work well. Now we are back in the "real world" (??) we can say that it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had one hiccough at the last lodge but that was outside his control and he is following up.
Thanks Mark. It was great!

7 day Safari and Victoria Falls
We just got back from a fantastic trip organized by Mark Hathaway of Gondwana tours and Safari. Everything surpassed our expectations and the various transfers went like clockwork. Mark was excellent with communications before our trip and recommended the camps to us. We stayed at Stanley's and Khwai tented camp where the wildlife viewing was outstanding, our hotel in Victoria Fall was also lovely. All in all a fantastic trip!! We added three days in Cape Town on our own and that was just as gorgeous!
Fantastic experience
We booked through Gondwana Tours & Safaris in May 2016 for a 2 week holiday to Botswana, Victoria Falls and Rwanda.
Mark was very knowledgable and answered any questions we had leading up to our Safari.
All our accommodation was superb and exactly what we hoped for. The safaris and organisiation of our entire trip went smoothly and all very well explained in our itenrary from Gondwana.
Overall we were externally happy with Gondwana and their service and expertise. Our next African adventure will be booked through them.

Great safari in the Okavango Delta
I booked a 6 day/5 night safari at 2 different camps in the Okavango Delta through Mark at Gondwana Tours. Mark ensured everything went very smoothly from the booking to the actual trip, and thoroughly answered all questions I had. The camps and the staff and guides were fantastic, and I had some great animal sightings. I was very with the experience and would happily book with Gondwana again.

An Amazing experience in Botswana and Namibia - thanks to Gondwana Tours
My wife and I worked with Mark Hathaway to set up a three week tour that started in Botswana and ended in Namibia. It was one of the most wonderful experience of our lives. Gondwana Tours really worked with us to tailor the trip to our needs and the whole trip was a blast. We especially want to thank Mark Hathaway. He was incredibly patient and knowledgeable and worked with us to get the tour details right. He was also extremely patient with our countless questions and his suggestions were spot on. I would highly recommend Gondwana Tours and Safaris if you are going to Africa and I cannot say enough good things about Mark Hathaway.

Zimbabwe Adventure
The organisation, transfers, flights etc were excellent Victoria Falls hotel for the first 2 nights lived up to all expectations and of course the Falls were truly magnificent. Everything about Verneys Camp was superb - the staff, the accommodation, the food and good wildlife spotting there - including 2 male and 3 female lions and the 2 painted dogs in the Conservation Roan and Sable antelope and elephants at the water hole, with hyena etc. Rhino Camp at Matusadona was a bit disappointing. The Camp was run very well but there was no wildlife to see except elephants and impala. Zambezi Expeditions Camp was again the accommodation, guides and staff were everything you could wish for. We even saw 3 painted female dogs, 2 male cheetah and loads of elephants, impala, zebra etc.
All in all a good holiday but not the best safari we have been on in other African counties regarding wildlife.
