Excellent Safari!
We booked our private safari with Mazingira Safari and were more than satisfied. Booking and communication with Johari runs smoothly and quickly. Payment via Pesapal also worked perfectly.
On site we were picked up from the airport and taken to our first hotel in Arusha. All accommodations were lovely, comfortable, clean and served delicious food. The highlight was our lodge in the middle of the Serengeti with wonderful views and animal sounds at night.
The safaris in the different parks were amazing and we were able to get very close to elephants, lions, cheetahs and other animals. Our guide Simon was great and gave us an unforgettable safari, where he also listened to our wishes.
We can only recommend Mazingira and Simon!

We communicated with Miss. Johari via email in advance. She was extremely prompt and created a plan that perfectly reflected our needs.
Our tour guide, Mr. Daniel, was friendly and reliable. He was very experienced and allowed us to meet the cheetah family as well as the Big 5, including lions and rhinos. We are very thankful to him.

Incredible, knowledgeable and organized!
I highly recommend Mazingira Safari! Every detail was so perfectly planned and we had the best guides and saw the most amazing animal encounters. It was magical! The safari vehicles are so incredibly nice and they are well taken care of and maintained. I had zero worries on our trip and can't wait to visit again someday! I will always use Mazingira! I can't say enough good things about my experience!

A perfect Safari!!! We had the best time ever
Thank you to Mazingira Safari!!! Johari from the Mazingira team planned everything very well for us. She recommended different parks and lodges and was able to fullfill all our wishes. In Tanzania we had a perfect time with a very nice guide, called Goodluck. He made this trip unforgettable for us and organized everything perfectly. We saw so many anymals, met very nice people and could enjoy different nice lodges and good food. We can highly recommend Mazingira!!!

Best safari drive and driver I’ve ever had
The safari was beautiful! We had the best time creeping through Ngorongoro crater and the Tarangire with our driver! Our driver was an amazing balance of fun and professional. He knew so much about the animals and the landscapes, and made us laugh and have the best time ever! I recommend using Mazingira Safari above all else!

Amazing 10-Day Safari!
We are SO happy we entrusted this once-in-a-lifetime experience to Mazingira Safaris. After communicating with 5 different tour companies we went with Mazingira. On top of being the most cost-effective, they checked all of the boxes... In the end, we turned all facets of the Safari planning to them and just showed up in Tanzania ready for adventure.
Their equipment was great the guides were SUPER knowledgeable. They knew the areas very well and taught us so much about the animals, history, and culture of Tanzania. I recently got into birding and over the course of 10 days, Lucas (our guide) helped me identify more than 100 new species.
They went above and beyond when my daughter left her prized stuffed animal at a lodge. They contacted the lodge and gave it to a pilot of one of the bush flights. It made it to Arusha before we even got there. Thank you for making this a trip we will never forget!
We are a family of 5 from Utah. At the time of our Safari, our kids were 12, 9, and 7. But we traveled with a larger (extended family group of 21) so this was a big group which is extra difficult to plan for.

Went above and beyond to help up have an excellent honeymoon experience
Our guide, Simon, was extremely friendly and a wonderful help. He made sure we had everything we needed to enjoy a spectacular honeymoon, and that we saw incredible animals. The organisational staff were excellent too and great at communicating with us.

I traveled on a 10 day safari with 20 of my family member of my family and it was a life changing experience! We saw amazing things and stayed at stunning locations and ate delicious food! Our driver was very knowledgeable and a great driver ! I can say I recommend them
