Highly Recommend Verity Bester and Uyaphi.com
At first I wasn't sure about hiring a travel agent (I'm a bit of a DIYer). However, after our first Zoom meeting with Verity, I quickly decided that a travel agent was the way to go for a three week trip to South Africa. Verity listened to us, what we wanted to do, what our budget was and met with us several times, over Zoom, to get everything in place. From the moment we landed in Joburg and had a driver waiting for us, we were taken care of. The tours, the safaris, and the drivers were all amazing. Just the best, top notch, as their web site says. Three weeks later, and I'm still on a high from the most amazing vacation in Joburg, nine days of safari (yes, nine, and worth every day), Cape Town, and Franschhoek. At the very last minute, per our request, Verity was able to change drivers on one of our tours - she works hard and it is good to have someone who lives there put the trip together. I would absolutely recommend Verity and Uyaphi.com for booking a trip.

From start to finish Verity made the trip spectacular
I highly recommend Verity for your travel needs. She booked three gal pals the trip of a life time. We spent three weeks in South Africa starting in Joburg and ending in Franschhoek wine region near Cape Town with Kruger National Park in between. We were escorted from the moment we got off the plane until we returned with private transfers. Activities planned went smoothly and very enjoyable. The Safari’s were definitely the highlight. 4 days in Kruger with a private guide, 3 days in Klaseri private reserve and 2 days in Sabi Sands private reserve.
Verity listened to what we were interested in, put together an itinerary and then met with us over zoom to finalize our trip. Best part was meeting her in person for dinner in Cape Town.
The app on the phone was so helpful for each day of travel. It gave contact numbers and what company was picking us up. Making travel that much less stressful.
We are already thinking of returning in a few years and will definitely have Verity plan our next adventure.

Amazing Trip!
Verity helped us plan the most amazing trip to South Africa from the US. She was the only agent who offered to FaceTime so she could directly answer questions. I appreciate her attention to detail, knowledge and patience with answering all my questions. When our flight from the US was delayed, she was able to rearrange a full day tour. I wholeheartedly recommend Verity to plan the vacation of your dreams.

Exceeded Expectations
Verity Bester planned our safari in S Africa and we can not recommend her highly enough. We had a conversation on the phone where Verity explained a lot of the different areas, camp options, ideal number of nights, guide quality etc. Verity is extremely knowledgeable about the safari experience in general and then at a very detailed level. She listened very closely to what we wanted and what was most important to us. Verity was conscious of our budget and explained the differences between a 4 star and 5 star experience. She provided the best options (3 in total with an explanation) available to us. We were so happy with our safari experience. We saw everything we wanted to and then some, had excellent guides, wonderful food, drink and overall experience. It was a magical trip and we did not have to sweat any of the details - hotels, transfers, air tickets etc. And she was always responsive to our questions along the way. We would highly recommend using Verity to plan your safari!

Simply amazing
Our mother and daughter safari to Kenya was organised by Uyaphi down to the smallest detail. Everything was perfect from pick up at the airport to drop off.
The choice of lodges was superb and the choice of guide in Pollmans Kenya was brilliant. Couldn't quite believe that our guide Isaac looked after us from day one through the Masai, Samburu and Nakuru with both expertise and patience.
This is my third booking with Uyaphi and we will be back!

50th Birthday trip to South Africa
It was awesome. Verity and her team planned everything — from hotels to regional airfare and tours — and we truly didn’t have to think about anything. Everything flowed perfectly, which made my 50th birthday trip to South Africa completely stress-free and unforgettable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely recommend her to anyone planning a trip, especially a special occasion.

Planned a spectacular trip for us
Verity did an amazing job planning our South African vacation. She listened to our thoughts and concerns and knew exactly what we were looking for. We even had some last minute adjustments to make because of a canceled flight and she handled everything perfectly. Verity was amazing to work with. We were travelling from USA and it was very easy to communicate with via email or phone call to discuss our trip. Even while we were in South Africa, she helped us with anything we needed while she was on her own vacation as well. Will definitely be using her again in the future.
