Well planned!

Meshack ensured that our Safari family holiday was well planned. Right from the very start all aspects of the itinerary were kept flexible and as per our request. Highly recommend to request for Daniel as your driver and Stanley as your guide in Masai Mara

Wonderful, personalised safari experience

I recently completed a safari with them. Despite the relatively tight turnaround time, they delivered an amazing safari that exceeded my expectations. As this was my first safari, I had numerous questions, all of which were answered quickly and expertly and gave me comfort in using them. As said elsewhere they are not a large operation, but this allows a level of personal service - Meshack met us at the airport, and also at other points throughout the trip to check in and see how things were going.

I would highlight that the best guide to the quality of an organization is how it responds when things don't go as planned - we were caught out in the rain in the middle of the Maasai Mara and unable to return to our lodge (someone who tried wound up stuck in the middle of the river and had to swim to safety - credit to our guide for knowing when to cross and when not to), Meshack arranged for alternate lodging for the evening in a charming little camp (zebra camp) even though the camp was closed as they had no guests that evening.

Meshack also did a wonderful job of sourcing excellent guides - the guides we had for Amboseli (Steven) and Maasai Mara (Benson) were very knowledgeable and helped us get the most out of our trip. We were able to see all the animals we had wanted to see, and even got to see a live kill up close.

In summary, they are excellent at what they do, and will go out of their way to ensure one has a wonderful safari experience. Definitely recommend.

Very Exciting and Perfect

Me and my dad went on a 11 night tour in Kenya with Alligator Adventures Tours & Safaris from 23rd August to 2nd September.
We had a very good experience in regards to everything. As I had cleared the purpose/objective of my trip is Photography i got a very nice support from Meshack as he provided me an excellent tour guide Daniel who was a photography enthusiast himself and also had knowledge not only of wildlife but also gave insights on Kenya as a whole. He would exactly know the frames a photographer would like to shoot and also the exact timing of what would happen when. WE spotted all the big five and also some other good stuff like raptors and other birds.
All the hotels provided were of excellent quality. Especially loved the Naivasha and bogoria resort as they were the best to chill off.

Thanks to Alligator Adventures Tours & Safaris for making my kenya tour a memorable one. Looking forward to associate with you more in the years to come.

Well organized trip to Maasai Mara in April

Me and girlfriend went on a lovely trip in Maasai Mara. We were a little bit unsure how it would be to on safari during the rain season, though we didn't see all of the big 5 and not the huge hordes of wild beast we saw lots of beautiful animals and lots of lions. One good thing about going in march/april is that we had the possibility to see baby lions, incredible cute!

Staying at basecamp were also a fantastic experince! If you are going there, make sure to ask for the Obama Tent it is just lovely!

Look no further- just go with alligator adventures

Everything about them is amazing. Meshack the owner is a star. Polite , courteous,, helpful, punctual and responsive. I pestered him to no end while planning the trip over 6 months and he was always ready to help. He even went over and above the call of duty by planning a surprise for us for our anniversary.
You must choose the safari guide Peter! He is fabulous. You can see he is a veteran and knows the best places to show you and take you to. Very flexible on our requirements and non intrusive on our privacy.
We took a private safari for a couple with them. And I will recommend everyone I know who goes to Kenya to go through alligator. They are a small but personalised outfit - which will ensure that you get an exclusive , customised experience.

Excellent Kenya Safari - April 2015 (3ppl)

The safari was a great experience and the quality of accommodation and service was excellent! The planning was easy with polite and timely communication and a tailored schedule. The company also responded well to late changes due to a 2 day flight delay! Our driver took us to and through some exceptional sights and of course found all the major animals we expected (except for the elusive leopard). He was very relaxed and easy to get along with, allowing us to make requests and minor running adjustments to the plan.
Thank you Alligator Adventures Tours and Safaris for an exceptional tour of Kenya!

From January 11 to 18th 2015 for 8 days It was awesome.

I and my hubby just returned from an 8 days Kenyan Safari and I am very happy we booked with Alligator Adventures Tours and Safaris.
I read about the company on TA but the information was not enough so I was a bit nervous booking with a company that is so many miles away and having to send money through bank transfer.
Though they had initially asked for 40% deposit upon confirmation and the balance cash on arrival it came as a great relief when they finally accepted that I could send 20% and the balance cash on arrival.
Compared to what I was getting from other agents their cost was much much lower but the service was the same.
I can now say the service was beyond our expectation.
Meshack was very fast in responding to all our questions and was very patient with us in the whole process.
One thing I liked about him was the flexibility to be able to work with me until we finally agreed on the suitable itinerary.
We visitited Amboseli (AA Lodge) Lake Nakuru (Flamingo Hill Camp) Masai Mara (Basecamp Explorer –our favourite)and finally Lake Naivasha Sopa.
All accommodations were very nice and clean and the food was excellent but we loved our accommodation choice in the Mara which Meshack had recommended. Basecamp is an Eco -rated that is also supporting and empowering the local communities. Taking a shower under open skies was very special.
Our driver/guide Simon was very nice to us and very knowledgeable. He always took good care of us and we felt very safe with him.
I highly recommend Alligator Adventures Tours and Safaris for anyone looking for a Safari to Kenya and East Africa.

Kilimanjaro and Safaris in Serengetti and Masai Mara

Alligator was a great company in organising my climb of Kilimanjaro and the three safaris we di following Kili. I wanted to deal with a local African company not a multi- national or foreign based tour company. This did have its drawbacks like no credit card payments but other than that everything went smoothly. Met at the airport, escorted to the bus for the drive to Moshe, all tour operators met us as arranged and accommodation was a bit too luxurious but I enjoyed it.
Payments are by direct transfer or cash on arrival which is not something we are used to in the west but it saves fees.
Meshack Mureithi was great and I would thoroughly recommend that you can book your holiday with him with confidence.
