An unforgettable experience!
For some years it was high on my list to go with my daughter (12 years old) travelling, to let her see elephants in the wild. This year was the year, we went to Tanzania with Altezza Travel to Tanzania and it was an unforgettable experience. For me to see how my daughter is experiencing her great adventure, I will never forget it and I am very grateful for having these memories now. I booked a private safari of 4 days, Simon was our guide and driver, we were fortunate to be in his company, we not only enjoyed his professionality but also we had a very good time together and I thank him very much for giving us this experience! We visited 3 parks;
Tarangire National Park, were we saw elephants for the first time! Ngorongoro Conservation Area (which is inside an unactive volcano) and Serengeti National Park, here my daughter also celebrated her 12th birthday at The Sound of Silence, at diner the entire Sound of Silence team came singing and dancing for her, you should see her face! Unforgettable!!! Thank you, Jan (owner) and your entire team, for such a hart warming birthday celebration!!
After the Serengeti back on the East African Highway for an African massage (because according to Simon, it is the worst highway in Tanzania, it is a very long dirt road), were we spent our last night at Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge. The next day we continued our journey to Zanzibar for more amazing experiences.

Amazing Safari
Safari was amazing. Very informative tour. We liked our tour guide George very much, very professional and knowledgeable. Very good organized hotel pick up and drop off. Transportation was very comfortable. The food was very delicious, we liked it a lot. The places to stay was very nice. Definitely will recommend to everybody who wants to do this kind of activity. Will come again for sure.

Northern Tanzania Trip
We had such a great time on our safari in Northern Tanzania (Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro). We saw a lot of animals and the beauty of the landscapes was just overwhelming. Everything was organized very well by Altezza Travel, they are absolutely professional. Our guide Tom was simply fantastic, we think that he is the best guide ever!! He made it possible to us to see a lot of animals, he was always punctual, always in a good mood, thanks to him we had a wonderful time. Also he told us a lot about local culture and we had a lot of interesting conversations.

Amazing trip in Africa!
I recently returned from a 5-day safari arranged by Altezza Travel in Tanzania - the safari covered Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, and Manyara national parks. Because I had fixed dates and could not change them, I ended up in a one-person safari, which actually worked out fine. I had the guide and the truck to myself, which was great. Long story short - I had a great time and would absolutely recommend Altezza Travel. Two people contributed to taking this trip enjoyable. The first is Anna, the consultant who worked with me in setting up the itinerary. She was responsive, easy to work with, and diligent - even though I had some questions about the trip and the various logistics involved, she was absolutely helpful at every point, right up to the point where I left Tanzania to go back home.
The second person who made a huge difference was Tom, my guide. Blessed with an upbeat, cheerful, and infectious personality, Tom was absolutely great on the long rides. His ability to spot animals was uncanny, as was his knowledge about the various species of birds and animals on the safari. He made sure things were in order, went out of his way to make things comfortable for me, and helped me gain a whole new perspective on wildlife. Even when we had a minor accident (our truck got stuck in a waterhole in Manyara for a while), Tom was there trying his best to get things back on even keel. At no point did I feel unsafe or in danger. He helped me get to another truck which brought me back to the lodge, while additional equipment was brought to the site to extract the stuck truck. In the bargain, I got to make a couple of new friends in the truck that gave me a ride :-).
All other facilities made by the company were great. The lodges were clean, functional, and well-maintained. Actually, a couple of the lodges were rather luxurious, which was not what I expected but was happy to see. The arrangements were made with care, attention to detail, and worked out very nicely for me. All in all, a memorable 5 days in and around Arusha.

Best of Tanzania
Travelling in Tanzania with Altezza Travel left unforgettable emotions and impressions on us. Phenomenal

Amazing safari !
In may 2020 I went to Serengeti with Altezza Travel. The company offers great services, their guides are very knowledgable and they give your safari a personal touch. This company will make sure you'll have an unforgettable experience!
Their cars are very comfortable and their guides all speak fluent English. Our guide Omary brought us to beautiful places and knew exactly what we wanted to do and see!

Safari
Altezza travel is a very serious agency. Our Safari was wonderfull. Our guide, Tom, french speaker was very interesting, passionated and very nice. We went to "Tarangire" : it is a very beautifull park, with a lot of baobabs trees and elephants, and others animals. The landscape was green so beautifull. Then we went to Ngorongoro conservation area and the North "Ndutu", we saw a lot of animals. Finally, we went into the crater Ngorongoro, also beautifull.
The landscapes of each park are really differents. I advice to begin with Tarangire if you have enough time before Ngorongoro. We didn't have enough time to go to Serengeti but I guess it is also gorgeous. After our safari, we went to Zanzibar during 5 days.
Our trip was just wonderfull !

Block 1. WE and ALTEZZA
We want to express our gratitude to our travel coordinator Sergey who works with Altezza. He was extremely professional and polite, the dialog between us was perfectly organized. We received quick, full and precise responses to our questions despite that we consider ourselves as exigent tourists. All our wishes were executed in a full manner. From the very begging of the trip to the last day we felt support from Altezza, there were no any cons. Thank you, Sergey and Altezza. You did great job!
Block 2. WE and GUIDE

When we travel around the world, we prefer to use guide service for almost all locations where we stay so we were extremely lucky having Hamisi as our guide for the 5-day safari. (Arusha-Tarangire-Ngorongoro-Serengeti - October 25-30)
First of all, Hamisi is an intelligent, experienced, professional, polite and cheerful person. From the very begging we felt that we know each other for thousand years.
His professionalism is proved by facts: he knows seven languages (we asked him to study Russian as well), he knows numberless facts about flora and fauna (it is like watching discovery documentary), but the most important for the game drive - he knows animals' behavior. All the time he took the best places for watching and taking photos and videos. As well Hamisi has a very good sense of humor. We were more than just satisfied, we saw many real life actions: lions and chitas hunting, playing, migrations of zebras and gnus, marriages of different animals and even few dramas in animals’ life)
The car (Toyota Land Cruiser) was clean every day. You have to be ready for much dust during safari tour and it was very big pleasure to get in to the clean car every day.

To sum up all above, we enjoyed our adventure with all our hearts. It was memorable and fantastic!

8 days safari tour with Altezza
Altezza was exceptionally professional and customer focused from start to finish.
Our guide and driver Vincent was taking very good care of us, showing us the best spots, communicating with rangers and other guides to make every safari successful. We had a lot to see and do in our 8 days tour and now in retrospect we are glad for every minute.
I can certainly recommend Altezza as safari tour operator. I would definitely book with them again if I get the opportunity to go back to Tanzania.
