What I really loved about the safari was that you never know what you’re going to see. It’s all up to nature, and that’s what makes it so exciting. Every animal encounter felt special in its own way.

Professionals from start to finish
We contacted Altezza on their webpage and quickly got a response and our own booking agent Rita. She came up with a Sample Itinerary that we changed around according to our needs and with her experience about the areas we wanted to visit. We booked 3 months before the tour and she answered all our small questions within 24 hours up until we were about to travel.
On the day of our flight we got contacted by Altezza support on Whats app and they were available for us throughout the whole trip with updates and answering questions within the hour.
Everything worked perfect with pick-up at the airport and transfer to our first lodge where we the next day was picked up by our guide for the Safari.
Timothy (our guide) really made it a special trip with his expertise in the Eco system of the area and also the behaviour of the different animals we encountered. He was always happy to share information with us that made the experience so much more than we ever expected. For example when we stopped by a group of Lions he would tell us all about the family constellation and behaviour of the group and there were several other cars around and some of their guides were fiddling their phones.
We managed to see "the big five" and many more interesting animals and birds that we did not know existed.
We opted for a luxury safari in our own jeep as we had a wedding anniversary. It was so worth it and Timothy made everything special with picknick lunch out in the wild Serengeti plains. Also the lodge Singing Grass tented camp made the evening special for us.
We highly recommend Altezza as a company and they have very good lodges to choose from. These are the 3 we stayed at.

Very helpful and responsive throughout booking and the trip.
Easy planning with Altezza and very flexible on itinerary changes as we were booking. The Altezza jeep had 4 seats which was perfect for my uncle and I as it gave us more space on the Safari itself. Our lodges were all top notch and the food was excellent. Justine our driver was amazing. Super knowledgable on all topics and was always willing to explore more to find more animals. 10/10 for Justine.

Simply the best
I trusted Altezza with organising the first part of our honeymoon, the safari one.
Everything went exactly as planned, and actually exceeded our expectations. We always felt that we were being taken care of. The team is amazing: responsive, kind, and proactive on proposing things that they think might make the experience better.
Totally recommended if you want to enjoy the safari without having to worry about all the rest.

Professional tour company offering outstanding service and excellent guides
I had a wonderful experience in the booking process with Mary our agent who offered me fantastic options based on my budget and was always very responsive to all queries. Once we arrived in Africa it was seamless and exactly as our agent described. We were picked up as indicated and felt safe and cared for throughout. The properties selected by Altezza for our itinerary were perfect. Ngare sero lodge was the start and end of our safari. What a gorgeous property. Don’t miss the serene 30 minute boat ride on the pond. If you love birds it is a must. The sounds at night are exquisite and the service and property were a highlight. We also loved each of the properties chosen but the highlight was the awali Serengeti camp where we spent 3 nights. The camp is operating well above its star rating. The chef is very talented. It was some of the best food we had on safari. Even the packed lunches for game drives were a treat we all looked forward to. The tents were beautifully equipped with outdoor and indoor shower after dusty game drives. Staff (special shout out to Gabriel) always said yes to anything we wanted or needed. We felt 5 star pampered service. Last but very much not least was our safari guide John. What an exceptional guide. His knowledge of the animals, birds, insects, flora, fauna and culture was seemingly limitless. Every question from our curious group of 6 was answered. Everything we wanted to see or do or see more of he was able to deliver. Lions in a mating ritual, giraffes at every turn, lion prides snoozing under trees within 15 feet, herds of elephants passing within touching distance of our vehicle, vultures and hyenas attacking a recent kill and just much more. We are also bird enthusiasts being able to add 57 birds with very little effort. Shout out again to the secretarybird, a favorite of us all. We all would agree that Altezza is a company we would recommend highly for safari in Tanzania.

Rasul Best Safari Guide Ever!
We were extremely impressed with our driver Rasu, he was insightful and intelligent and his knowledge of the animals was very impressive. He was also extremely patient with all of our questions as well as dealing with some of our physical limitations which he handled like an angel.
I have been on African safari vacations before and have experienced many drivers but this gentleman was by far the best.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Benson was the most knowledgeable and happiest of people we met on our trip.
Our guide was Benson. He was so unbelievably smart, knowing all the small details my wife and I kept asking him about the different animals. He was so thoughtful and always did his best to give my wife and I the best experience possible.

We had the most amazing time. Our tour guide, John, was very knowledgeable and had great instinct for finding animals. When he found them, he was also careful to ensure they had enough space to behave naturally and they were not crowded as we had seen with other tour operators. The service provided by everyone on the tour has been fantastic. We will be highly recommending Altezza to our family and friends and hope to return again.
