Our safari has been great and very well-organized! We were assisted by Carol who is really wonderful, professional, and very efficient. She was flexible and positive and helped us with the preparation of the safari. During the safari our guide was Kennedy, who is a good driver and a very nice and experienced guide. He knows a lot about the parks and the animals and was very flexible and considerate as well.

Wonderful experience from start to finish!
From the moment we first enquired about itineraries, Tekko Tours couldn’t have been more helpful and easy to communicate with, providing prompt and helpful responses all the way through our booking process. We opted to make a few changes to the itinerary that we chose and these requests we all dealt with swiftly without any issues. In comparison to other quotes we received we thought the value for money was great and we don’t feel like we overspent on any aspect of the trip. The tour itself was faultless, whilst there was a lot of travel between locations each stop offered something different which made the distance covered worthwhile.
Our driver went out of his way to ensure our trip was special, he was very knowledgeable and happy to share information throughout the trip to enhance our experience. He was always on time ensuring we made the most of each location, he even getting to the airport an hour before our arrival time (4am) to ensure we wouldn’t start later than necessary.

I recently had the pleasure of going on the Kenya + Zanzibar tour with Tekko Tours, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience from start to finish. The tour organizer, Risper, and our driver, James, went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of the trip was perfect. I cannot speak highly enough of their professionalism, knowledge, and genuine care for our enjoyment.
From the moment we started our trip in Nairobi, James greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel at ease. His expertise as a driver and his deep understanding of the local areas we visited were truly remarkable. James provided us with detailed safari briefings, ensuring we were well-prepared for our adventure in Lake Nakuru. His passion for wildlife and the environment was evident as he shared fascinating insights about the rhinos, giraffes, and other incredible animals we encountered during our game drives. James's skillful driving through the Maasai Mara Game Reserve made our experience even more thrilling. His ability to spot wildlife and position our vehicle for the best views was outstanding.
Risper, the tour organizer, deserves special recognition for her exceptional planning and attention to detail. Every step of the itinerary was perfectly organized, allowing us to maximize our time and immerse ourselves in the beauty of Kenya and Zanzibar. Risper's recommendations for accommodation were spot-on. The Cliff, Entim Camp, and Melia Zanzibar were all exquisite choices, providing us with comfortable and luxurious stays. Risper's suggestion to visit the Maasai village was a true highlight of the trip. Interacting with the locals and experiencing their culture and dance was an unforgettable and enriching experience.
The itinerary itself was well-balanced, offering a mix of breathtaking natural landscapes, thrilling wildlife encounters, and cultural exploration. From the scenic views of the Great Rift Valley to the full-day game drives in Maasai Mara, each day brought new adventures and unforgettable moments.
Throughout the tour, the meals provided were delicious and satisfying. Whether it was the breakfast at the camps or the picnic lunchboxes during our game drives, the food was always fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The all-inclusive option at Melia Zanzibar Resort ensured that we never went hungry and could indulge in a variety of culinary delights.
Overall, I can confidently say that the Kenya + Zanzibar tour with Tekko Tours exceeded all my expectations. James's exceptional driving skills, Risper's meticulous planning, and the well-thought-out itinerary combined to create a truly remarkable experience. Greatest value tour, perfect service
Highly recommended. Very friendly , fast and efficient communication. Adapted the tour to all our needs. Very good lodges, Ilkeliani lodge in Mara far beyond expectations. The driver Kennedy was so nice, knowledgeable and did everything to make this tour special. Unlike other drivers he tried to get off the standard path as much as he could as he completely understood what we are looking for and what the needs of serious photographers are. He did much more than the necessary and we couldn’t have wished for more. The trip Nairobi-Mara-Nakuru-Nairobi (3 nights) was well conceived and balanced. All in all a perfect trip. Mara and Lake Nakuru is a fantastic combo and Tekko Tours is a clear recommendation.

Responsive, friendly and efficient tour operator, always ready to please with fantastic staff
We specifically wanted to use a Kenyan tour operator to organise our trip, so that our tourist spend would remain in the country.
Right from the start, Tekko proved themselves to be up to the job. We specified our tour requirements, and Carol worked hard to plan the trip we wanted, using her extensive knowledge of the game reserves and lodges/camp/hotels available.
After several iterations, which Carol provided, we landed our trip - which included 6 game reserves and 4 days on the coast in 16 days, including our own driver and Land Cruiser.
Our driver, Kennedy, was a fantastic asset to our trip - friendly, knowledgeable, lots of initiative and problem solving, very understanding of our needs. I cannot recommend him highly enough. Even when our Land Cruiser had a technical problem (unsurprising given the mileage we covered and the quality of the roads), he resolved this without fuss and minimum inconvenience. He also had a good nose for the game, finding us the more tricky of the animals we were were hoping to see - leopard, cheetah, secretary bird, dwarf mongoose, etc.
Our trip exceeded our expectations, and Tekko were very instrumental in making that happen. I would thoroughly recommend using their services.

Very professional and well organized
We had a great experience with Tekko tours in Kenya for our 6-day trip to Amboseli, lake Nakuru and Masai Mara. Everything was well organized by Carol. Our driver Ken was great, really went above and beyond to provide wonderful experience for our family. Definitely recommend using them for Kenya safari trip!
