Working with Nodven Safari was phenomenal
5/5

Working with Nodven Safari was phenomenal. I had gone through a couple of other agencies prior and shifted to Nodven due to their professionalism, responsiveness, and knowledge. Our experience required coordination of transfers which all went perfectly. The safari experience itself was amazing with Patrick. And the camp that they booked us at, Selous Ngalawa Camp, was on point. We will certainly be using them again in the future.

Great Value for Money - Highly Recommended!!
5/5

The safari was great, especially the middle day of driving around. We saw tons of animals, including a lion eating a zebra, lots of giraffes and a family of elephants that crossed the road right behind us. The boat safari and the walking safari were also fun, but the middle day was definitely the best. The accommodations were better than we expected and the staff was all very nice and helpful. All in all, it was a great experience for a really good price.
The showers had cold water due to electric problem. Other than that everything was great.

Friendly and Knowledgeable
5/5

We were in Tanzania staying at the Harbourview in Dar es Salaam. The front desk connected us with Nodven when we were looking for tours of the area and a possible safari. The next morning we were introduced to Patrick and Gloria, who proved to be wonderful tour guides. Patrick showed us around the Dar area and we were able to take in the beaches, museums, markets and other local points of interests. Patrick also made a point of giving us more of a local experience, eschewing some of the more "touristy" things. Instead we went to the fish market, a local pub, and the market that is used by the Tanzanians rather than the over-priced and kitchy tourist market. That was great! The next day we visited Bagamoyo to learn about the slave trade and see many of the buildings and ruins associated with that time, as well as a local college where students are taught to raise and harvest fish, and build and run fishing boats. Based on these two days we felt comfortable lining up a three day safari for the next week with Nodven.
The safari was to Mikumi National Park. We spent a long day driving around the park with a local tour guide and were so fortunate as to see 4 of the "BIG 5" African animals, as well as many other species. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the area, characteristics of the animals, and knew where were the best places to look for them. The next day Patrick drove us to Udzungwa National Park and we did a beautiful hike up Sanje Falls, enjoying a picnic lunch at a lookout over the scenic valley below.
During the time we spent with them, Nodven took care of all our needs, including meals, drinking water, and excellent hotel accommodations while on safari. They were knowledgeable, and did their best to ensure we had a unique and informative time exploring this area of Tanzania.

Great tour to Mikumi, Ruaha & Udzungwa
5/5

Our 8-days tour started in Dar es Salaam, we stayed 2 nights in Mikumi (Vamos Hotel), 4 nights Ruaha (Hilltop lodge and Msembe Headquarter) and 1 night Udzungwa (Udzungwa falls Lodge). Our guide Sam was great, he is a excellent driver and knows all the animals and the places where to find them (you could just point to a bird and he would know the name). The food was good, everything was well organized and reasonably priced. We were a group of 4, the size of the Safari vehicle was just nice. We can strongly recommend Nodven Safaris (f.k.a. Parota Safaris) (ask for Sam).

first all I think I have to specify that we had a fantastic holiday! officially , every seconds of our holiday had been planned and prepared by Nodven Safaris (f.k.a. Parota Safaris) and its first man patrick so everthing was so easy for us actually all the details were considered, we wouln't exactly expect such a professional working, during the week our guides came to our hotels to take us and went to join the tour which was planned for the day , together as you see, even transports were comfortable enough! mikumi is very good places we have only 2 days in dar es salaam because of this status we select mikumi and also we are so happy select Nodven Safaris (f.k.a. Parota Safaris) hotel is good our guide is good and very knowledgeable thats all we're really glad for choosing Nodven Safaris (f.k.a. Parota Safaris) and meet that guys; Patrick,Steve,Isa  thanks a lot

Wonderful trip to Mikumi National Park
5/5

We booked a safari to Mikumi National Park at very short notice going directly by car from Dar-EsSalaam. Patrick and his team personally organized everything within 24 hours at an affordable all-inclusive price: pick-up and drop-off at the hotel, drive in their own comfortable jeep, all meals along the way, overnight stay in a quaint new hotel near the park, and lots of great animal viewing, some at very close range. We saw many elephants, giraffes, various antelopes, zebras, hippos, buffalos and a pack of lions at very close to the jeep who were devouring a gazelle which they seemed to have hunted just before we encountered them. The guys of Nodven Safaris (f.k.a. Parota Safaris) are highly recommendable. They made our safari unforgettable!
