Wonderful moments
We had a wonderful time in Selous Game Reserve, Ruaha National Park and on the private island Bagamoyo! Everything was well organised! Elen and Ernest prepared our program that succeeded to all our wishes. We were so fortunate to have Ernest as tour guide. He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about his job.
The accommodations were great too. We would recommend Chabo Africa Safari to everyone who wants a safari fit to their needs. Thanks for the wonderful moments Ernest!

Awesome 1st safari!
Chabo Africa was a great pick! There was 21 of us, and they understood our needs and time constraints to work with us. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. Ernest was awesome: he definitely strayed from the path to help us find all the animals we wanted to see. He didn't mind that we were a rowdy group of 23 year olds and wanted to play some tunes on the ride to and from the park. He also didn't mind that we stood all over the seats of the car to get a better look! Great experience. Would definitely recommend.
First Safari Experience = Awesome
Ernest is one of the best game drivers by far. He really knows the good spots, is very knowledgeable, and is a great guy! Accommodations were great too. Thank you so much for making my first safari a great one!

Personable and Knowledgeable
I was duly impressed with both the friendliness and knowledge even back in Modest's early days as a guide. Uncanny ability to make you feel right at home and safe, even as you wander close to lions, water buffalo, and such. We've even remained friends over the years.

Great safari
Great experience with chabo safari! The communication before our trip was good, quick response and very helpfull since we werent sure were to go. We decided to go to Ruaha park and Mikumi (which is on the way to ruaha) since serengeti would be filled with tourists at this time. Our Tour guide Modest picked us up at the aiport and filled our trip with his jokes and big smile. We saw a lot of different animals and Modest had a great eye for spotting them! Would Highly recommend doing your safari with chabo.

6 days - mikumi and ruaha
Before we booked our safari we gained a lot of advice from Chabo. We didn't know exactly where to go.
Their advice helped us a lot and we were able to arrange a suitable safari straight from the Airport.
Modest is a very nice guy, with lots of jokes. Very good to have on your safari. He spotted a lot of animals with his so called 'eagle eye'. The accomodations where we staid were good.
I would recomment Chabo to everyone who wants a safari fit to their needs.

Adventure with Modest: Fly camping in Selous
If you want to get the special kick on a safari, you should go for fly camping together with Modest. Thats what we have done in January 2015. The pathes have been already a little bit mushy and the tents were flooded, but we took it with humor and Modest did his best to manage the situation. And after all we got our cheetah, hunting an antelope. What more do you want? My unlimited recommendation.

Fantastic, well English speaking guides with a lot of knowledge about Tanzania (and insider tips)
We went with Modestus from Iringa (where we stayed some days at Neema Crafts - very good place) to Isimila.
He explained us all needed about that traditional place while we walked around as well as the flowers and animals we have seen. After that days we went with him to the Ruaha NP, where we stayes three days in a very nice tent lodge with very good food. Here we made a two days visitation of the Ruaha NP, one at day time, one in the very early morning. It was fantastic to have breakfast in the park. Back in Iringa we spent a day and an evening with Modestus and learned a lot more as well. Choose this guides - you can´t do a mistake!
