Perfect - no more words needed.
It was an awesome experience - great service, perfect communication and organization. Daniela from Afromaxx did an amazing job in planning our individual family tour through Tarangire, Mayanara and Serengeti with best value for money. The camps were breathtaking, the staff excellent and the food delicious. Our guide Oscar was not only extremely sensitive to our needs but also very knowledgable about wildlife. We learned a lot about flora, fauna and the life of the Massei from him. Not only did we see the Big 5 but witnessed also very special moments such as lions hunting a buffalo because Oscar was very attentive while driving. Best trip of our life - and we've travelled a lot. Already planning our next Africa trip. Again with Afromaxx.

Outstanding from all points of view!
Went on safari in October 2024. I communicated from Australia with the Afromaxx office based in Moshi.
The administration from pre-booking to booking was outstanding - all perfectly streamlined.
The driver and driving ( no speeding like some other companies that drove past) was excellent as was all the accomodation in the parks and outside. The travel companions were excellent too!

Afromaxx makes you discover the beauty of Tanzania
We were able to enjoy a wonderful safari week in Tanzania with Afromaxx. The organization of the trip was flawless. We found our guide and driver Elifuraha to be a very friendly, competent companion. He was able to tell us a lot about the animals, people and nature. We always felt safe and in good hands. We return home with a heart filled with scents and colors and carry the sun from Africa here into the cold winter of Europe. We wish you as a team and especially Elifurahra a merry and blessed Christmas season and a successful 2024.

Liebes Afromaxx-Team,
meine Schwester 2 Freunde u. ich hatten die 3 Tage Big Five Safari gebucht und sind absolut begeistert. Unser deutschprachiger Guide hatte sich für die 3 Parks sehr viel Zeit genommen und war für jede Frage offen. Landschaftlich und menschlich ist Tansania ein Traum. Wir wurden von allen herzlich empfangen.
Am 4. Tag hatten wir eine Dorfbesichtigung mit Kräuterwanderung bei den Maseis. Uns wurde die Kultur und die lebensweise gezeigt.
Sehr interessant!

Dear Afromaxx team,
my sister 2 friends and I had booked the 3 day Big Five Safari and are absolutely thrilled. Our German-speaking guide had taken a lot of time for the 3 parks and was open to any question. Tanzania is a dream in terms of landscape and people. We were warmly welcomed by everyone.
On the 4th day we had a tour of the village with a herb hike near the Maseis. We were shown the culture and the way of life.
Very interesting!

wonderful safari days
Dear Afromaxx team
All expectations of our safari have been exceeded by you and your friendly staff.
From the first contact at the travel fair in Dresden with Ms. Schröder, about the preparation and the information by email before the trip, the pick-up at the airport and all transfers - were perfect and our good gut feeling was confirmed again and again from the beginning.
The highlight, however, was our driver and guide Charles. He has become a friend of ours these days. His loving and cordial nature, his almost perfect knowledge of German and the incredible knowledge of so many animals, especially the German names of all bird species seen, plus some anecdotes about the animals and the landscape were indescribably beautiful.
Finally, he brought a gift to each of us. Thanks for the great time with you Charles - we will be back, I promise. Ms. Schröder hold this man well.
Anyone who has ever seen this animal world live will not visit a zoo for many years.
The days to relax on Zanzibar were also wonderful.
All people in Tanzania are so friendly, even though they have so little. These days you learn to be humble again and thankful for the happiness that you were born on the other side of the earth. Anyone who has a problem with immigration in Europe should take a tour of an African village, visit people in their home, school or hospital ......
A few comments about the organization. Maybe you could consider organizing the first and last night in Arusha (near the airport) rather than in Moshi, which saves a lot of driving, time and fuel. We also found it a shame that our guide was not allowed to stay in every lodge and was not always allowed to eat at our table.
Another note on the visa. It is still possible to apply for this at the airport, the waiting time is exactly the same as with an online visa. An extra visa must also be applied for children under the age of 16, although we indicated our daughter (14 years) in the online visa.

Everything was perfectly organized and arranged. We were lucky enough to see all of the Big5... It was an amazing trip. Wildlife of Tanzania is incredible and it warms my heart to see that we still have a place on earth where animaly can actually live as they were supposed to. I will travel with Afromaxx again, I'm sure of it :)
Great holiday in great nature
A while ago we traveled with Afromaxx to Tansania. The very kind and professional guidance boosted our hype for this holiday. We enjoyed relaxing at excellent lodges, were impressed of delicate and luscious food menus. Wunderful adventures in breathtaking nature and its wildlife delighted us strongly. Perfect Organisation and a wonderful trip with Afromaxx in Uganda and Tanzania
We are only a few weeks back from our trip to Uganda and Tanzania and would like to thank you for the fantastic organized trip. Everything went well, the Lodges werde very good selectet, especially we would like to thank our Guides Ken in Uganda and Solomon in Tanzania for the good care.
