Wonderful safari trip to Kenya with a great guide Paul
African Sunset Safaris organized for us a private 5-day safari trip to Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru National Park, and I recommend it to everyone who is looking for a great safari experience: not overpriced but still very comfortable and flexible in terms of the organization.
The only problem worth mentioning is that the Sarova Mara camp which was included in the offer was not available during our visit, but we were informed about it only after paying 50% value of the whole trip. The tour operator proposed an alternative camp which did not meet our expectations (lower standard than Sarova Mara). Eventually, after a bit of research on my side and several e-mails exchanged with the manager, we managed to find an available camp, satisfying in terms of the standard. So a bit of advice: make sure that your chosen accommodation is available before transferring the money.
Otherwise, everything was excellent. The pickup was on time, the car super comfortable (really appreciated during a long ride on bumpy roads), equipped with binoculars and several books on African wildlife. The route plan, the meals and accommodation was as agreed, they even managed to comply with my dietary restrictions.
And special thanks to our great driver/guide: Paul Ngugi! He is experienced and knowledgeable and at the same time very flexible: he ensured that we saw the Big 5, flamingos, crocodiles and whatever else we asked for. I think we were lucky to have him as a guide during the trip and it was a pleasure to travel with him.

Great safari time in Tansania
We had a fantastic time in Tansania. Our guide Gideon is a very friendly, open and reliable person who knows a lot about the different national parks and its animals. He picked us up from the airport and spent 5 days with our family in Serengeti, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Manyara. The jeep was in a good condition and Gideon is a good driver. Extra plus he is a mechanic which is always helpful. We had a lot of fun with him, the kids (12, 15, 18 years old) loved him and everything was organized very well by Gideon. We can fully recommend African Sunset Safari as a very well organized and reliable company. Even Haron the owner came from Narobi to Arusha in order to say hello to us personally.

Excellent safari experience with African Sunset
Only positive memories and impressions we have after safari in Kenia and Tanzania with African Sunset. Starting with our meeting in Nairobi airport, then during safari in Naivasha, Nakuru, Masai Mara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and till the end in Arusha airport - always in time, nice lodges and camps, good 4x4 vehicles. Our manager Haron was answering all our questions fast, offered reasonable price. He personally picked us from the airport and presented nice gifts from the company. Later he accompanied us during crossing of Kenia/Tanzania border. Special thanks to out guide in Tanzania - Gideon. He has perfect knowledge about all animals and birds you can meet during safari, he is a good storyteller and easy person to communicate. And thanks to him we had a chance to meet all animals we wanted.

2 days in Amboseli
I went on the two day Amboseli tour as I only scheduled a long layover in Kenya. The tour was as expected and I was able to see elephants and Kilimanjaro! My guide was very informative and answered my one million questions questions hahaha.i definitely recommend African Sunset Safaris!

Unforgettable 10 days Safari in Kenya and Tanzania. Excellent guides and personal attention.
My friend and I did a 10 days Safari in Kenya and Tanzania to visit Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha, Amboseli, Taranguire, Serengeti and Ngoro-Ngoro crater.
I couldn´t have dreamed this countries to be so beautiful, so vibrant, so perfect. With breathtaking landscapes, excellent food, and cheerful people, I can say that this will be an unforgettable experience, an exceptional opportunity to get in touch with nature.
But none of this experience would have been so good if we didn´t have travelled with such good guides. Both Johnson (in Kenya) and Guideon (in Tanzania) were amazing. Very respectful, caring and excellent drivers, who did their best in order to help us profit our trip.
It’s not easy for two Argentinean women to trust a company in other country, so far from home, with a different language. But I can assure now that African Sunset Safaris and its owner are really trust worthy. We had to pay for some tickets with our credit cards and Haron Gashao made a crazy trip so that we could receive our money back before leaving the country.
Travelling with a local company was the best choice we could have done. Every lodge was perfect, every moment was perfect. And I can definitely recommend both guides and of course this company that was the only one that offered us such a personal treatment and let us plan the trip we wanted to do but with this local touch that made everything better.

This is the tour for you if you want to do everything Kenya has to offer.
We are a group of four adults (30s) and two children (pre teens).
Ours was a 7 day tour.
The program was to do Nairobi National park, Giraffe feeding centre, Masai Mara national Park, Lake Naivasha and Aberdere.
Haron, our driver and the guy who runs the tour was plain awesome. We had absolutely no issues during the tour, and Haron made it a point to show us the Big Five, including the elusive Leopard. He went out of the way to make it so. what also helped was that he drove around the huge Mara national park like he knew it as well as his own home. Our accommodations were beyond expectations with the exception of the Progressive Hotel in Nairobi, which also was adequate but not awesome! The vehicle, a sturdy old LandCruiser was not the last word in comfort. But what can be better than a rugged old quirky Landcruiser to savour the true flavour of Africa??
All in all. I thank the Tour operator for making our trip to Kenya a cherished one and a little more than the exact type of tour that we had envisioned and expected.

Magical experience in Kenya with African Sunset Safari
Doing a safari with a tour guide like Haron (of African Sunset Safari) was beyond our expectations. Haron was a fantastic guide who went above and beyond to give us the best Kenyan experience possible. Though mostly quiet, except when he wants to explain something about the culture or history of Kenya or the behavioral patterns of the animals in the safari, Haron seemed to have immense knowledge about the working of the country at large, and the wild. Early on in the safari, after he got a good idea of what my group of 6 were really interested in, he took immense trouble to give us the beyond our anticipations. With him, we saw the following -
Plenty of elephants, antelopes, wildebeest, giraffes, hippos, crocodiles and zebras.
Plenty of lions - individual and in prides with their cubs (even a few eating off a fresh kill)
Slightly more elusive cheetahs
Rare sighting of a rhino
The extremely reclusive leopard
But rarest of all - two cheetahs trying to hunt a wildebeest and some crocodiles fighting over a recent kill.
I cant forget how he drove us like his seat was on fire every time he was radioed in on one of the above sightings, which was exactly the spirit we wanted. :)
We highly recommend Haron and African Sunset Safari and would definitely avail of his services when we visit Kenya again.

High responsibility for taking care of the 10days trip in Kenya
Thanks to African sunset safaris , for the first time trip in African Kenya, we all felt really grateful and memorable for all the days we travel through the national parks, big lakes by the super cool safari car！We saw precious animals and took thousands of pictures&videos. We get to know the culture of Kenya by our hard working leader -Haron, really a nice and humor guy helped us a lot and try to find every animals we are looking for !! Which is super amazing and incrediable !!!
