My dream vacay!
What an amazing experience! My trip was originally planned for June 2020. Unfortunately, due to Covid, it was put off and postponed to June 2022. Anne was helpful every step of the way for 2 and a half years. Emails were answered in a timely fashion. When I was ready to rebook my trip (which was totally different than my original 2020 plan) she answered all my questions and gave recommendations. We went with 10 days in Amboseli, Lake Naivasha, and Maasai Mara. James M was our guide and he was excellent! Funny, polite, knowledgeable and informative. He provided info on the animals, birds, trees, and even the towns we drove through. We stayed at Serena Amboseli, Naivasha Simba Lodge, Ashnil Mara Camp and Keekorok. I look forward to visiting again and I highly recommend using Amazing Memories to plan your trip!

Private 10 days Safari in Kenya: astounding!
After spending a lot of time deciding among many tour operators we have chosen Amazing Memories Safari for a 10 days private Safari: Amboseli National Park, Ol Pajeta Conservancy, Samburu, Lake nakuru and Masai Mara.
Immediately our contact person Anne was available for our needs, from booking to logistics.. and the holiday was fantastic! James is an exceptional guide and went to great lengths to make our first safari a unique experience!
I absolutely recommend Amazing Memories Safari for your next trip to Kenya! This was our first safari, but it won't be the last!

Fantastic 14-day tour thanks to the Amazing Memories safaris team
Fantastic 14-day tour in Kenya and Tanzania (Mainland and Zanzibar).
The booking was done without any difficulties thanks to Anne who was always available to answer all of our questions.
The main concern we had was that Amazing Memories Safaris would not be able to fully deliver what they advertised. But, they were perfect from start to finish (hotels, food, tour guides, etc.)
Amazing Memories Safaris team deserves 5 stars for the quality of what they offer.

It was truly a spectacular adventure. I am so grateful to the Amazing Memories Safari team. They were incredibly accommodating, kind, helpful, accessible, and knowledgeable. Wangechi and Anne were great organizers. We spent two days and one night in Amboseli and it was absolutely stunning. Mike, our guide, helped us see lions, cheetahs, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, and the list could go on! So many animals! We learned about the Kenyan culture and, honestly, we fell in love with it. Words can’t describe how thankful I am to this team. I would HIGHLY recommend booking with Amazing Memories Safaris; you won’t regret it!!

Really amazing!
We booked our trip by internet with Anne, who is a very nice and helpful person. Everything was very simple and like we asked for.
We booked a 6 days Safari (Amboseli, Lake Navaisha and Masai Mara). The hotels we chose were: Kibo Safari Camp in Amboseli (beautiful camp with an amazing view to Kilimanjaro! The best!); Simba Lodge in Lake Navaisha (the hotel has animals around the garden and the rooms are good); Keekorok in Amboseli (beautiful hotel, very good food. we love it).
Our experience was perfect and unforgettable. Our guide, Steve, is a very nice person and always with a good mood. Steve was always worried about us and did everything with detail. We loved so much Steve, really really good person. We never forget Steve and the experience that he gave to us. If we come back to Kenya, for sure we choose Steve again (and Amazing Memories of course) :)

Would not hesitate to recommend - fantastic experience
We arranged our safari with Amazing Memories and we were so glad we did. The communication from booking until we travelled was excellent, with prompt answers to my whattsapp questions and a detailed itinerary provided. On the day our safari started were collected promptly from our Nairobi hotel in a safe, clean land cruiser vehicle.
Our driver guide was Eliud and he was amazing! His all around knowledge of the local area , parks / conservancies and wildlife was fantastic. Eliud worked really hard at making sure we had a wonderful time - he drove for long distances and still was willing to be up early the to take us on full day game drives. We felt safe with his driving and he even helped out other driver in the Mara when they got stuck. We were glad we were with Eliud for who safety was clearly a priority. Eliud also knew all the toilet stops and varied activities that we hadn’t even thought or heard of before (ranger walk and hippo walk) which made our trip extra special.

Great Value in this trip!!! We did a 9 day safari in Kenya. Everything we hoped it would be. Stunning views, delicious food and great accommodations. Most importantly, we saw so much animal life. It felt like we were in a Disney movie seeing so many animals. Steve was a great Guide. We felt safe and cared for. Highly recommend this trip!

Amazing! is the right word
I am not one to do reviews but this is one I just had to do as a treasure like this is worth being noted. I contacted a few tour operators and Amazing Memories Safaris was one of the few that promptly responded. Apart from their quick response, they had an easy to understand package that was concise with all necessary details. Furthermore, they were accommodating, very responsive and flexible to our requests.
The Itinerary they helped develop for the 9-day trip was excellent as it was well balanced ensuring that we had maximised our experience in the locations selected. Ann made the booking process was seamless and stress-free.
The pickup was also perfect as James MAGI was on time. The hotel selections were also just amazing and considering the cost, you get value for money. The food and rooms/luxury tents from Samburu, Nanyuki to Mara were great with amazing views and all amenities one would want.
I have to say that what made the experience go beyond expectation was our guide, James MAGI, He was extremely knowledgeable, always professional and friendly such that by the end of the trip we made a lifetime friend. His experience of wildlife as well as tracking animals is what made the safari fun and exciting. The highlight for me was getting to see a Leopard, even though we got to see all the sought after animals and many that I was not even aware of, for some reason I never get to see Leopards. Another thing that I appreciate about our guide is how he knows the routes to take to make the trips between destinations quicker while still driving at a moderate comfortable pace, I say this as I thought I knew all the roads in Kenya hahaha. This means you get to maximise your holiday and not spend long hours on the road. I would highly recommend asking for James MAGI as your Guide.

Definitely use Amazing Memories to put together a fantastic, memorable vacation!
When we decided to finally make our dreams of an African Safari a reality, I began researching companies and looking at costs - Even though I typically make all my travel arrangements and act as my own travel agent, I knew I would need help planning this trip. I reached out to a few different companies with a broad outline of what I was looking for and a request for some pricing. Anne, at Amazing Memories, responded immediately and quickly I was able to decide that this was the company I wanted to work with.
The trip was for my family - husband and wife with a 21 year old daughter and an 18 year old son. I outlined the basic things we wanted to see and do and Anne came back with a suggested itinerary. I went back and forth with her asking questions about the places and activities and she modified the plans as she learned more about what we sought. I finally pulled the trigger and hoped for the best - still nervous that I was venturing to Africa and dependent upon someone else's expertise.
Travelling during Covid can be stressful - but Anne spelled out how everything would be handled if we had to cancel at the last minute. Fortunately, we all got our negative tests and were soon on our way to Nairobi. We were met at the airport, as promised, and transferred to the hotel for our first night. We met Steve, who would be our guide for the next 8 days, and then he drove up to the Samburu Reserve so he could be there when our flight arrived the next day.
The eight days with Steve as our guide were amazing. He made us feel so comfortable and safe! We had 2 longer drives (we visited 4 parks in total) and he was an excellent driver. His skills of spotting game were amazing and he provided so much useful information - our whole family loved Steve.
Two places that we stayed deserve special mention - they were fabulous and I would recommend their experiences to anyone. Elephant Bedroom Camp in Samburu and Kichwa Tembo Camp in Masai Mara were top notch. Excellent food, excellent service, excellent location. Definitely try to include those 2 camps on your itinerary.
When our safari came to an end we found out the the testing place for our return Covid test shut down for the day - but Steve was on the phone to Anne and they quickly found an alternate location for us to get our Covid test and Steve took us to the site in Nairobi, escorted us through the process and delivered us safely for our return flight. My enitre family raved about how well organized the trip was and I couldn't agree more. I was thrilled that I used Amazing Memories.
Two final comments - 1. The Kenyan people rely on tourism and they make visitors feel so welcome. I had visions of traveling to places where we were tolerated - but instead I found that the Kenyans treat visitors like family. I would absolutely recommend a trip of this nature to anyone. 2. We went over Christmas 2021, so Covid testing rules required a negative test within 24 hours of departure. Once the regulations ease, the camps can arrange a test collection onsite and then get the results delivered to you. They were doing this for people who were going back to countries that only needed a negative test 72 hours prior to departure.
