Great experience with Amazing Memories Safaris
I started to plan the 10 days Kenya safari trip for our group of 16 friends and families more than a year ago. I started with my own itinerary and hotel choices and contacted different companies. Amazing Memories was the one I picked up from comparing prices, size of the company and reviews, etc. It was not the cheapest. Titus, the representative of the company made me felt comfortable to communicate. He responded to our questions fast and with patience to explain everything. We had 4 large Land Cruisers with 4 people in each car which made us more comfortable for long day safari and driving from one park to another. Our tour guide Gorge, Simon, Joseph and Robert did their best to find animals we loved to see and looking for Great migration. We saw almost all things we wanted to see except black rhinoceros. I was in the car with Simon. He constantly communicated with other drivers on walky-talkies and cell phone to search animals and usually found good spots to look at them. He also rescued another car from different company during safari in Maasai Mara. Gorge was knowledgeable and very caring. More than half of us had food poisoning from one of Sopa Lodge. He asked us if we needed go to hospital and after we said no, he divided our group into two parts. He drove sick persons to the next hotel and rest of the group continued their journey and safari. Robert has really good eyes to spot animals and our adult children were in the car with Joseph and they loved him. We are very satisfied with our trip with our four tour guides and Amazing Memories. Highly recommend them.

Amazing memories for life!
Titus and Raphael were both amazing from the start! The trip was very organized and left us carefree from the beginning. The itinerary was spot on to make sure we got the best experience as it was our first time in Africa and Kenya.
Raphael was an amazing tour guide and an ambassador to Kenya. He made sure that we saw all the beauty Kenya had to offer. Learned a lot about the history and the culture of Kenya and saw the amazing wildlife at Maasai Mara. We actually caught all of the big five and more!
Highly recommend the company and Raphael! Would definitely come and again!

A wonderful safari, professionally handled from start to finish
We had a wonderful 9-day safari with Amazing Memories Safaris and overall the experience was excellent. The itinerary was well organized, communication before and during the trip was smooth, and we felt very well taken care of throughout the journey.
Our guide Joseph was one of the highlights of the trip. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable and always attentive to our experience. From Amboseli to Lake Naivasha, Lake Nakuru and the Masai Mara, he did his best to make sure we had a memorable safari, and we came home with many unforgettable memories.
There was one unfortunate incident during our final transfer in Nairobi, when a driver made an inappropriate and offensive joke that made us feel very uncomfortable. I raised the matter formally with Amazing Memories afterwards.
What I appreciated was the way the company handled the complaint. Management responded promptly, acknowledged clearly that the behavior was unacceptable, apologized sincerely, took concrete action, and reminded the wider driver team about professionalism, respect and the importance of making guests feel safe and comfortable. They did not try to dismiss the matter as simply a misunderstanding or harmless joke.
For me, how a company responds when something goes wrong is also an important reflection of its professionalism. Amazing Memories took responsibility and handled the matter seriously, which I respect.
The incident on the final day was disappointing, but it does not erase the excellent safari experience we had during the previous nine days or the great work of Joseph and the rest of the team.
Overall, I would still confidently recommend Amazing Memories Safaris to travelers looking for a well-organized, personal and memorable safari experience in Kenya.

NOT recommended especially guide Richard in Kenya - AVOID AT ALL COST.
We booked this company for Kenya + Tanzania safari trip, Strongly NOT recommended especially guide Richard in Kenya- avoid at all cost
Here’s what was advertised:
1. Full-day game drives running from 8am to 6pm.
2. Experienced and professional guides.
3. Close coordination with the hot air balloon operator to ensure timely pickup.
4. Smooth handover between guides at the Kenya-Tanzania border.
5. All meals included throughout the safari.
6. There will be airport transfers on arrival and departure.
7. There is tipping culture but not compulsory
Here’s what actually happened:
1. Richard picked us up 30 minutes late in the morning and returned us to the hotel as early as 3:30 pm during the full day game drive. In between, he also had his own sweet time having lunch breaks up to 2 hours, leaving us waiting in the vehicle with nothing to do. As a result of starting late, long lunch breaks and ending early, our actual game drive time was only about 4 to 5 hours per day.
2. Besides the common herbivores, we only managed to see lions and cheetahs in 3 full days in Maasai Mara, which our guide Richard is so 'proud' of. He is so stubborn and repeatedly claiming that "Other guides didn't find lion and cheetah", "You will see the same animals anyway", "There are no more river crossing now". Mind you, we are in Masai Mara during start of August. All of this turned out to be false. Once we crossed into Tanzania and were guided by Godlisten from Migada Tours, we saw river crossing and all of the Big Five within just two days.
3. After our hot air balloon trip, Richard failed to show up at the designated pickup point. He gave us no communication whatsoever and eventually arrived an hour late.
4. At the Kenya-Tanzania border, Richard simply told us to wait and walked off to chat happily with other guides. We sat inside the hot car under the blazing sun for no clear reason. Eventually, guide Godlisten from Tanzania found us and personally escorted us through the immigration process.
5. On one of the days, Richard forgot to collect our packed lunch from the lodge, leaving us with absolutely no lunch for that day.
6. On our final morning, we had arranged a driver to pick us up from the hotel at 8:30 am for our airport transfer. No one showed up, and we received no notification. After calling to the agent, we were finally told that the driver had been in a minor accident. Whether that was true or not, the complete lack of proactive communication left us scrambling and arriving at the airport in a stressful rush.
7. We tipped all our guides daily, following the recommended amounts or even giving more. However, after the string of disappointing experiences with Richard, we decided not to tip him on the last day. He responded by begging for tips persistently and refused to leave until we eventually gave him something.
Overall, this company failed to deliver on almost every promise. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere for your safari.

Amazing 🤩
We had an absolutely wonderful safari trip! The itinerary was well‑planned and perfectly arranged. Our tour guide Joseph was incredibly thoughtful and caring throughout the whole journey. He took good care of us and always made sure we were comfortable. We saw lots of amazing wildlife and enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend this travel agency to everyone planning a trip to Kenya!

Fantastic Kenya Safari, Great Support from Nevill & Joseph
We had a wonderful safari experience in Kenya. Everything was perfectly arranged by our contact Nevill. Before this trip, I felt really nervous and worried about safety in Kenya. But both Nevill and our driver‑guide Joseph made us feel safe and secure the entire time.
Joseph was extremely professional, knowledgeable and patient. He shared so much insight about local wildlife, and successfully helped us spot all the animals we hoped to see. Every game drive was fun and comfortable thanks to him. Travelling with friends, we created so many precious memories. This is truly an unforgettable African journey. Highly recommend!

A lifetime experience

The coordinator Nevill prepared an extremely detailed itinerary for us, everything was clearly arranged. Our driver Eluid was very careful, responsible and professional throughout the safari.
Thanks to his experience, we spotted almost all wildlife species we hoped to see. It was a fantastic and satisfying trip overall.

Our two guides, Peter and Eliud, were fantastic throughout the whole journey.
They are incredibly knowledgeable about local wildlife, nature and culture, always sharing interesting facts patiently.
We were lucky enough to spot every single animal we hoped to see during our game drives.
Both guides are friendly, warm‑hearted, enthusiastic and very hard‑working.

Amazing memories made with the help of an amazing team!
My husband and I booked this “bucket list” trip as an early 25th wedding anniversary (now we have to stay together 😉)/belated 50th birthday celebration.
With the help of the very patient, professional, and personable Brian, with whom I communicated via WhatsApp and email over a coupe of months, we were able to secure excellent places to stay in Nairobi (1 night), Masai Mara (3 nights) and Diani (3 nights).
Everything from the meet & greets to the food, the choice of accommodation, and the service was superb (and I am a bit of a perfectionist). The trip was reasonably priced and all-inclusive with full board accommodation and meals, multiple park entry, safari drives (including a scenic drive up to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley). It also covered flights from Mara to Diani and a luxury train ride back from Mombasa (Diani) to Nairobi! It was great not to have the headache of figuring out connections and transfers and tickets—and just enjoying the ride.
Our highlight of the trip was witnessing one of the greatest wonders of nature—the wildebeest crossing from Serengeti to Mara.
This was only possible thanks to our guide John, who was extremely knowledgeable and had a great knack for having us at the right place at the right time to see as many of the big five as possible…and more (cheetah, leopard, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebra, hyenas, wild dogs, ostriches, buffalo, wildebeest, hippos, and a variety of gazelles/antelopes and birds).
Early morning drives enabled us to experience the awakening savannah and splendid sunrises, which will remain embedded in our memories until we’re old and gray.
