Excellent experience (Kilimanjaro and Serengeti Safari)
5/5

We had two very amazing experiences with Nyange. First, our Kilimanjaro trek with our guide Francis, who was very knowledgeable and helpful. The trek was absolutely wonderful, and something we had been dreaming of for years. Thankfully they organized it all perfectly. Our second trip was the 5 day tour to Serengeti, Tarangire, and Ngorongoro. Another great experience. Our guide Alan, was so great, and really did his level best so that we could see as many animals as possible. I can only praise all their hard work to make our trips as smooth as possible.

Full Review
I book this tour on Sunday, for the Monday, through another tour operator. Praise (the CEO) allowed me to join an existing tour which was a 5 day tour, for one day. I really appreciated this allowance that was made for me! They picked me up, and dropped me back to my place in Moshi.

The drive form Moshi to Tarangire Park is very long, far too long, this is really the worst part. Fortunately, John, who is half Chagga and half Maasai, is a great conversationalist, with excellent music taste, so that made the long drive easier to bear. It was a clear day, so we got a great view of Mt Kilimanjaro on the way.

I was picked up at 6:50am, and we arrived at Tarangire Park at 11:22am. We entered the park at 11:52am (after registration, restroom breaks, etc).

We entered Tarangire Park, known as the Paradise of elephants. John had a good eye so he quickly spotted many animals and pointed them out to us. We saw the following animals:
- many, many birds (if you're a bird watcher, you'd have the time of your life here)
- Giraffes
- Ostriches, males and females
- Warthog babies
- Elephants, males, females, and babies (LOTS and LOTS of elephants)
- Wildebeest
- Grant's Gazelle
- Cheetah and cub
- Water bucks, males and females
- Peacocks
- Buffalos
- Dik diks

While we were having lunch, John saved me from a monkey that tried to attack me. This is no exaggeration, it really is a plus to have a Maasai warrior as a tour guide!

We exited the park at 4:23pm. I was dropped home by 8:02pm.

This trip cost me $242 in total which is MUCH less than any Tarangire Day tours I have seen, which didn't include pick up and drop. If you're looking for a bang for your buck, and excellent service then this is the tour operator to go with!

great knowledge of the parks and great services
4/5

We had a great time doing the safari with Nyange, as our driver was nice and knowledgeable. the lodges were very nice and even though the plan was changed without us knowing, it was always at our advantage with better lodges.
I definitely recommend going with Nyange for safari tous as well as trek to Kili which we also did with Nyange.
Communication before the trip was excellent and Praise answered all our questions quickly.

MOST AMAZING guides, spectactular scenery, loads of animal herds seen up close and personal!
5/5

I went with 10 friends and it was to say the least, a once in a lifetime adventure! The company's owner Praise helped me plan the trip from a far and replied promptly to all my questions/inquiries. He gave us lots of options, with full details prior to booking and we decided on the 2 night, 3 day safari visiting Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. 7 of my gang opted to sleep over in a campsite and myself and four others choose the luxury accomodations at Gnorongoro Luxury Farmhouse and it was breathtaking! The campers loved their accom too. The safari vehicles were in good shape, the drivers were knowledgable and spoke excellent english, had great senses of humour, were professional, yet fun, adding to our overall experience. Although we were in two separate vehicles, we were able to stick close by each other and get similar experinces and FANTASTIC photographs. We never felt rushed, our boxed lunches were excellent and we had as much bottled water as we needed. I recommemd you take your own pillow to lean against the roof top bars or even to sit on as the days are long and roads are bumpy and my pillow was a Savior! Highly recommend Nyange Adventures and I will book with them again when I bring my family back. Nyange Adventures is more than just safaris, they also provided transportation and guides for our day trip to Mt. Kilimanjaro base camp and back, as well as other tours. Book with Nyange Adventures and you will NOT be disappointed! Praise and his team are top notch and will keep you entertained, safe and well informed about your Tanzanian surroundings! The whole trip would not have been the same experience without them! Stop hesitating, book with Nyange Adventures and you will have the most unique, life long experiences while in Tanzania!

Amazing company!
5/5

We were a group of 11 travelling from Canada and we initially set up our 3 day Safari Tour with Praise and his company. Once we were in contact with him we booked addition day trips and excursions through him, including a day trip to the Hot Springs, and a Base Camp hike on Kilimanjaro. All excursions were amazing and the staff were awesome. The 3 day Safari was UNREAL! Not only did we see the best of the best animals, make a stop at the Maasai village, have excellent accommodations but our guides were SO GREAT! They were knowledgeable about the animals and areas, friendly, happy and knew exactly where to be at the right time. We had such a fabulous experience. At the end of our trip, 2 of us were heading to Zanzibar and Praise set up a whole package for us, which included pick up from the airport to our hotel, a StoneTown tour, excursion to Prison Island with snorkelling and a tour, a Spice Tour, transportation to the East side of the island for the rest of our stay and transportation back to the ferry at the end of the week. We were beyond impressed and treated very well and met some amazing people. The prices for all of these things was completely fair and excellent value for what we did. Thanks Praise and company!

5/5

Last month booked a bachelor safari trip to Tanzania. Superb experience held at Nyange Adventures Ltd, the team members are expert at his work, and they organized perfectly. Literally, we enjoyed at Zanzibar beach in the mesmerizing summer, and with the local community. We were 5 members in the trip, travelled Serengeti National Park, Wildebeest migration, and Arusha National Park.

Great operator
5/5

Sorry for the delay in writing this, just found the site.

This was published straight after our trip on Tripadvisor

We are a family of 4 with 2 early teen daughters.

Praise took us on a wonderful, entertaining and educational visit of his village, surrounding area and the coffee plantation. All 4 of us really enjoyed the day. The tunnels were very interesting and the Chagga live village very entertaining and full of information. Edmund gave a great presentation on the culture of the area and it is fantastic to see someone so enthusiastic about his heritage and traditions and willing to share it in such a fashion.

Lunch was at the coffee plantation, and prepared by Praise's mum, and was delicious, with traditional African fare. Our youngest is a very fussy eater but loved the food.

I would thoroughly recommended this for anyone who has a day to spend on Moshi or Arusha.

Praise was an excellent host and guide. I was extremely impressed with his professionalism. We were staying in a small boutique hotel in Arusha that he did not know so he drove down the night before to make sure that he knew where it was and be back in the morning on time. This is a3-4 hour round trip and shows the sort of dedication he gives his clients.

Awesome Safari!
5/5

Had an awesome four day safari. Took the cheaper option with camping and it rocked! I don't know why you'd bother with lodges and that when you can sleep right in the middle of the Serengetti! Absolutely unforgettable.

Great company. Would definitely use them again and recommend them. Everyone is very friendly. Even had a few cheeky beers with some of the guys after our tour ended!

Cheers guys and I'll see you again when I'm back in your beautiful country!

Marangu Cultural Tour
5/5

Our group had a fantastic day out with Ombeni Nyange who organised a very interesting tour to Marangu Village. We walked to beautiful waterfalls, visited a Chagga village with underground tunnels, the Chagga museum and a coffee and banana plantation where we were shown the whole process from picking the coffee beans to the final product, the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted! All this as well as a delicious lunch of local food in a garden setting. A most interesting day and we learned a lot. Ombeni is a fantastic guide with great knowledge of the area. We had a lot of fun and can highly recommend this excursion to anyone who has a day to spare in Moshi!!
