Taste of Afrika day hike at Kili was awesome!
5/5

As a small tour operator, Seka was so helpful, accommodating and flexible. I arranged my day hike with him late the evening before my arrival at Kilimanjaro and he took care of every detail-above and beyond what was expected. The guide, Nickson was great as well. He was knowledgeable, clearly enjoys his work, and even taught me a little Swahili along the way. Thanks Taste of Afrika!

Exciting and well organized day tour climbing Kilimanjaro
5/5

We were so glad to pick Taste of Afrika for this day-tour around Kilimanjaro. Seka picked us up on time from our hotel in Arusha and drove us to Moshi, where we improvised to stop for a very necessary taste of local coffee, before starting our way to the mountain. There we met Benjamin, our guide, who was as kind and fun as Seka and made the experience very entertaining. We got to see some monkeys on the way up!! We were also given a deserved meal box after the (moderate) effort to reach Mandara Hut. Finally, we were returned to our hotel in Arusha to wrap up an exciting day.

Flawless Execution for Family Fun!
5/5

Seka helped me plan a climb up Kili combined with a Northern Circuit safari for my family and me. Email communication was quick as he answered all my questions (and I ask a lot!). We were picked up on time for each leg of the trip and all tour guides were knowledgeable and kind. Choice of places to stay were wonderful and we ate very well! Everything was seamless which is saying a lot for a large group on such a long holiday. I'd definitely recommend Taste of Afrika.

Amazing and unforgettable experience
5/5

Went to Tarangire Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara on safari. Our whole experience was handled very professionally from the booking process and airport pickup with Seka to our safari guide Elia .Cannot bestow enough of praise for the safety care and information given by them both to make our experience more enjoyable. Have experienced previous safaris but Ngorongoro is a truly special place this was a once in a lifetime holiday we will never forget made more memorable by these two special people.

Amazing day trip to Kilimanjaro
5/5

I booked a day trip to Kilimanjaro with Taste of Afrika, because they were locals and the cheapest in the market, and, to be honest, I was not expecting much, however, I had an amazing experience with Taste of Afrika. Seka, the owner picked me up from my hotel and dropped me to my next accommodation. He is a very kind, honest and reliable person, with a deep knowledge about nature and very pleasant person to talk to. Overall, my day trip was very nice and I would highly recommend Taste of Afrika to anyone.

Also, please bare on mind that they are small local business who needs our support, they have a huge competition amount bigs foreiners Tour Operator. Please, please, leave your money to the locals

Amazing tour, friendly, flexible and reliable service
5/5

The communication was quick and clear. A tip indication for the guides would be a nice addition to the already very complete information.

Amazing safari with the best guide
5/5

We went on a safari with Taste of Afrika back in May 2019 to Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and Tarangire. They were amazing, couldn't be more helpful. They arranged pick up from the airport for us, a hotel to stay in before the safari started, great accommodation during the safari and hotel and airport transfers for afterwards too. Our tour guide Kepha was so friendly and answered all our questions. He found all the big 5 for us and was so patient when we all struggled to spot certain animals in trees/in the distance. Would highly recommend Taste of Afrika!

One day trek in Kilimanjaro till Mandara Hut was great!
5/5

We booked our day walk in Kilimanjaro with Taste of Afrika. We decided to go with them because they were offering pick-up at our place in Arusha. Seka, the owner, and Alex brought us from Arusha to Kilimanjaro National Park and then dropped us in our next accomodation in Moshi: they were really kind, precise and we had interesting conversations with them. They are two good and honest guys with a strong international experience - especially Seka. At Kilimanjaro NP we met the guide Peter, who was full of energy and really enthusiast about his job, so he was able to make us feel the Tanzania's good vibes. We hiked till the Crater near Mandara Hut and it was worth it. Overall, the experience was super pleasant and we didn't find any problem, so they are truly recommend. Asante!

Everything as promised
5/5

We had five great days through "Taste of Africa". We have booked from Germany and Seka was always ready to provide information and help. As promised, he picked us up at Kilimanjaro Airport on the day we arrived and took us to our Green Mountain hotel in Arusha. The hotel was good, the food was delicious and the staff (as everywhere on the tour) very friendly. The next morning our guide Said on time at the hotel. He was an absolute lucky man, polite, good-humored and in his element. Thanks to him, we have learned a great deal, he can give backgrounds and information to EVERY animal and ANY plant and sees animals with the naked eye, which I have not seen with binoculars. That's how we all saw big 5. ;) In addition, he has always responded to our requests, prehistoric times, breaks, photo stops, everything "no problem". The lodges during the tour were also good, good food, nice staff. Two nights we spent directly in the Serengeti, the other two directly at the Ngorongoro crater. Everything as announced. The hotel before and after the safari was also included in the price AND transport from and to the airport.
After the safari, we did the one-day hike on Kilimanjaro. Exhausting but a great change from the safari. The night we spent in Moshi at the Keys Hotel. Especially great: My wife had her birthday that day and Seka surprised us with a cake and a bottle of wine waiting in our room on arrival. There was a card with personal words, all in the name of the "Taste of Africa" team.
So it was a perfect package and the best value for money compared to ALL other providers. I highly recommend it. Another advantage: Seka speaks very good German and English and has always been accessible via whatsapp, if anything was.

Fantastic Mt. Kilimanjaro Hike to Mandara Hut & Maundi Crater!
5/5

Taste of Afrika provided an absolutely fantastic experience for me, doing a one-day hike up Mt. Kilimanjaro! We climbed to Mandara Hut and Maundi Crater, with stunning views along the way. The natural landscape was stunning, and an experience you shouldn’t miss if you’re in the area & physically able. Nickson, the guide on the climb, was great! He sang songs & taught me some Swahili words to keep my energy up when it got rough. Seka, the owner is amazing! He was a great communicator and made me feel welcome, prepared, and excited about the trek both before & during the experience, going out of his way to make sure everything was wonderful for me. I highly recommend this company, you won’t be disappointed in service or experience! Thanks again, Taste of Afrika!
