Time ran too fast during this perfect organized safari. Highly recommended!
5/5

We (my friend and me) booked our one day Ngorongoro tour in Pauls office. He welcomed us and immediately we felt comfortable. Paul offered us different possibilities of safaris, but because of our lack of time we decided to have that one day safari to the Ngorongoro crater. During our communication there were no false promises of being sure to see the "big five" but the promise, that we will get a well educated and professonal guide. The next day our guide and driver Hezekiel picked us up from our hotel in Arusha and we went to Ngorongoro by our 4w rover. - A great car! I love it!!! On the way there we got many information and Hezekiel tried to answer all our quwstions patiently - and we had a lot of questions! Then we entered the National park, where we were already expected by 2 buffalos! A great starter! After a few 100 meters a huge giraffe stood on our way. Hezekiel said, that we had been really lucky and it would definitely be our day. :-) Going down into the crater and in the crater itself Hezekiel drove our car safely and professional! No rock, no stone, no pond or small river caused a problem for him. Hezekiel always asked us, what we would like to prefer, if we would like to have a break, or continue, stop here and there, if we finished taking pictures etc. He was very kind, friendly and always polite. Our car had a roof, that could be lifted, so that you can stand in the car all the time an look around all the plain in the crater. Amazing!! We saw huge herds of gnus, zebras, different gazells, buffalos, from time to time schakals and hyanes, a group of lions, crown cranes, ibises, flamingos, many hippopotamuses and when we left the park some elephants in the bushes and a group of baboons. As I wrote above, the time ran much too fast. We even didn't recognize, that we were a bit hungry. We had our picnic at a pond with hippos and cheeky birds. We were asked to stay in our car, because the birds are really bad here. They aren't afraid of men and would try to steal our meal right out of our hands. All in all a great safari, with a nice guide and breathtaking landscape. - On our way out of the National park and to Arusha we stopped at Grzimek's memorial, at a visitors' view point into the crater (there was a cute dikdik just 2m in front of us down in the bushes!) and at a view point into the Rift Valley. Phantastic!

Northern Circuit (short)
5/5

Tanzania Roadside did an excellent job, tailoring the safari to our specific needs. The service was faultless and met our expectations to the highest degree. The tour was very satisfying, although we could not see all the big five (but one cannot book a meeting with lions on demand). The driver/guide was very capable and informative. Also appreciated was the possibility to define timing and itinerary within the parks according to some requests.

First class service with an incredible experience!
5/5

They took care of us the whole way and helped create a great trip. We had a couple changes that they were helpful with and the rest of the trip with RoadSide went off without a hitch. Would use them again if (or maybe when) I go back.

6 Days Safari in Northern Tanzania
5/5

We booked the "6-Days-Safari" with the destinations Tarangire NP, Serengeti NP (2 Days) and the Ngorongoro Crater. Everything went well. The whole preparation of the Trip with Paul - we had a lot of email traffic - as well as the payment in advance via bank transfer and the organization during the whole trip were excellent.
Our driver-guide was James. He always explained us everything about the nature and the animals, but also a lot of interesting things about geography, politics, religion, language, history and his own life (how he became guide for tourists). We were very happy to have James as our guide.
The accommodations were very great. Especially the Kubukubu Tented Lodges and the Maramboi Tented Lodges were a highlight.
We definitely recommend the Trip with Tanzania Roadside Expedition. If you have any questions about it, don´t hesitate to ask us.

Total and complete care by Paul and James our guide.
5/5

Everything ran smoothly. Loved our guide James. He always was trying to get us to the animals from 8 in the morning to dusk. We had great experiences with the animals. Memories were made for us all to share.
Suggestion: maybe payments should be made through Safari Bookings web site and not directly to TRE.
We loveed it all.

A very lovely trip
5/5

My friend and I went with the Tanzania Roadside Expeditions team , James Allan, Azekieli Senkoro and moshi hero John Mbando for 1 day trip to moshi (The first Chagga Live Musem, coffee tour and water falls) In the live museum oh my God how the tour guide of the immerse you in the history of the local history. He has an excellent way to explain the history and tradition. Then John took us to the coffee tour and the waterfalls. Although we were not lucky to see the process of making coffee, the company was very lovely and we enjoyed the place very much. They were very gentle and explain everything for us. For me as on a budget it was expensive but the good team made it worthy. It was a special day!
One of the things I didn't like in Tanzania is the tips as we already pay a good amount, but the we were not aware of it at all so we didn't pay them tips, and they were very elegant people that they don't annoy us to get the tips like what happened with other trips. Jame told me that we came as a client but we left as a family and it's totally true. Thank you dears for the wonderful day trip.

Fantastic Safari service
5/5

Some friends and I wanted to do a safari, but we had very limited time and had specific destinations in our bucket list. Tanzania Roadside Expeditions was the ONLY tour company that was able to cater to our needs, AND had very reasonable prices. They went out of their way to make things happen the way we preferred! Tour guides were very knowledgeable and accommodating. We absolutely loved every minute of the tour and the experiences we got because of them. I would most definitely recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions for their professionalism and expertise!

Review of trip arranged by Paul Justine, Peace Hotel Arusha, Tanzania - roadsidetanzania.com
5/5

1 Stay at Peace Hotel was really good.

2 First day trip to Arusha National Park was exceptional. Viewing of wild life in Tanzania was great. Elephants, Giraffe, Baboons, Gazelle, Impala, Lions and many other were seen. The guides were very qualified and helpful in explaining the animals habits, the countries different tribe and their development.

3 The second day trip to Kilimanjaro National Park was also very enjoyable. The guides explained and showed how the different tribes like Chaga and Maasai lived. Wild life viewing was also good.

I could be willing to recommend travel through this group

5/5

me and my friends a group of 6 peoples in January, we booked Serengeti safaris and beach holiday in Zanzibar. The Roadside services are really amazing!! since the starting point of our planning all arrangements were quite excellent. Safaris Driver Guide James was really helpful and provide good explanation about animals and plants. we had good time with Massai cultural tour. Our safaris were not too expensive compare with other companies that we sent request before so we decided to visit stone town and had lovely relax in Nungwi beach Zanzibar island. Highly recommended Roadside Tanzania!!.
