Excellent Tour! Safe and Efficient!
I could see so many precious scenes such as lions eating a wildebeest and cheetahs eating an antelope. My family and friends don't believe that I took those pictures, but I really took them! :D I really enjoyed the tour of Tanzania Roadside Expeditions.
Before I went to Tanzania, I had sent a lot of emails to Paul to ask about the itinerary, hotel and the price. He patiently answered them and arranged the itinerary for me. Also he came to pick me up at the airport on the first day, and I felt relieved to see him because I traveled alone and I concerned about the safety of Arusha. During the tour I felt no danger.
James, the driver, knew where to find animals and I could see many precious scenes as I wrote above. Also his driving skill was nice. He carefully drove not to shake the car, and when we found animals, he always took the best position to observe them. Thanks to him I took so many nice pictures. Also he took me to the local market in Arusha on the last day and he explained to me the local lives in Arusha. Those were so interesting, too! :)
Also, the members of the company were so friendly and they took me to a local restaurant on the first day and final day. I really felt at home and forgot that I was traveling alone. :)
Thank you very much for all of the staffs of Tanzania Roadside Expedition! I can't believe I experienced such precious moments!
If I could go Tanzania again, I must choose same company! ;)

All good in Kilimanjaro!! Even the rates!!
I don't usually write this kind of reviews, but Paul told us and he was so kind, I could not say no.
What to add when everything is perfect? Our questions were fast answered, they were waiting when we arrived at the airport, ther was no hidden charge, the guide was very nice... also the tents, the food...
I hope to come back soon!

We are very satisfied with everything, they tailored our Safari according to our preferences (family with 2 kids, age 9 and 12), communication was very smooth and service excellent. Our driver James had so much knowledge about the wildlife and the parks we visited (Serengeti and Ngorongoro) and he was very responsive to our needs and wishes.

Great experience
The whole experience with Roadside Expeditions was unforgettable. Starting from the very initial interactions with Paul, when he suggested few options for our safari and gave us a choice depending on our budget, till the very last moment of our trip. Definitely go with James (our guide) - he was the best. He has a great eye for spotting animals and we were lucky to see all Big Five, including a rhino (with a rhino-baby) and James was the first one to spot them in the crater that day, just few minutes before we had to leave. The car was equipped with the radio, which is very helpful for guides to share information and not to miss important things.
Since it was also our honeymoon & my husband’s birthday - James and Paul arranged some nice surprises for us and my husband on his birthday! Truly amazing experience - amazing lodges, great roadside adventures!

Best Three Days Ever!
We had a group of 10 (Canadians and Tanzanians) who used TRE for a 3-day safari. They picked us up at our hostel in Arusha, and took us to Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara.
Our two drivers; Ezekiel and Idris were amazing! They were able to pick out all the big animals on the safari and made sure we were able to see everything. They were also super informative and were able to tell us about the area, history, people, culture and so much more.
A great experience, and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for guides!

Amazing Experience, Very Professional
Great experience for a 3 day trip (Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Lake Manyara) for a group of 10. Our accommodations at Kudu Lodge were also amazing and caught us all by surprise. The communication and level of service were professional.
The food during the safari (lunch boxes), albeit industry standard since all the other cars had similar looking boxes, tasted ok.
All in all a quality trip. I would definitely go with this company again! They were even kind enough to arrange airport drop off and a Maji Moto Trip en route to the airport.

Trip of a lifetime!!
Without any hesitation I would recommend Tanzania Roadside Expeditions. Paul and his team went above and beyond to provide a most memorable adventure while considering our safety and comfort at all times. This was a top priority because we were traveling with our young children and I was very anxious about this trip. Paul planned a 3 week journey for us which met my many, many, many requests (sorry Paul!) He was very patient and did all he could to make this trip a journey of a lifetime!! All of our drivers in the different regions we traveled (Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar) were extremely knowledgeable, courteous and very experienced. They ensured our safety and comfort at all times. Paul booked comfortable accommodations and made sure our needs were met at all times. He also made himself available while we were travelling and communicated immediately. I was also impressed that Paul and Mary made an effort to meet us twice to make us most welcome and at home in Arusha. Thank you so much to Paul and his team! Our family will be talking about this trip for many years to come! We hope to return to the beauty of Kenya and Tanzania soon!

Amazing safari in Tanzania
Thanks Paul for the most fantastic holiday one can ever think about when booking with Tanzania Roadside Expeditions! Everything turned out magic! Although the flight arrived 2 hours late the driver was there picking us up. You offered us a late dinner out in town at a local place after arrival as a gesture for the inconvenience and showing us great hospitality, which after all turned out to be a terrific start! The safari was perfectly organized with a very knowledgeable and service minded driver/guide. 5 stars out of 5 will be our grade!
