Excellent service made my safari experience a truly memorable one, exceeding my best expectations!!!
5/5

From the start Patricia, at the office, was very helpful with suggestions about planning the safari tour with regards to visiting different terrains and landscapes, safety and health issues as well as choice of accommodations and payment issues. Elliot and Johnson gave us a warm welcome on our arrival and made it very easy and straight forward to settle into the tour. Patrick, our personal guide, made the remainder of the tour an exceptional experience! He was always on the alert to see to our comfort and needs both during the long drives and at our accommodations, all of which were of excellent standard! Patrick is so knowledgeable about the abundant wildlife and the country's culture we witnessed on the tour ... it really was a tremendous learning experience!! It was very obvious that Patrick has a passion for wildlife and that he aims at giving his clients his super best!! Patrick is also very patient and stopped on request for the hundreds of photos we took :) He got to know us well enough to suggest places to visit which might interest us, like the elephant orphanage, the giraffe sanctuary and the hand-made bead factory, and he actually got us there on time in spite of the heavy traffic we encountered ...he has excellent driving skills!!
In a nutshell..... the experience by far exceeded my expectations and this is definitely due to the superb service offered by the Travel for Change team ..... they are tops in their line of work and highly trustworthy ...highly recommendable :) They made it an experience of a lifetime!!! thank you

Wonderful safari!

We've just finish our fuor days safari. It was perfect! We've been in Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Beautiul landescape and fantastic animals. Our guide, Lewis, was very qualified, and our chef, Prince, prepared for us a lot of good food. He worried about our tastes. We didn't have any problem whit the jeep. All the staff took care of us.
We have been in tent, the equipment was all Ok
We recommend a safari with Travel for Change Africa.

10 star safari
5/5

Out of 5 stars, Travel for Change in Africa gets a 10+++. Of the 500 tour operators in Arusha, Tanzania, Travel for Change is the one to work with. My husband and I just returned from an amazing safari and 4-day extension to Zanzibar. Patricia, Silvia, Praise and the entire team delivered the trip of a lifetime. I was impressed with their attentiveness to our wishes and their attention to detail. Everything about the trip was well beyond our expectations, and our expectations were high as I had been to Tanzania before. Patricia did a phenomenal job of planning, Silvia as our primary contact on the ground and Praise as our guide. I appreciated their respect for the animals, cultures, environment and the rules of the Serengeti. The accommodations were some of the finest we've ever experienced, particularly the Kubu Kubu tented camp. Praise took the time to explain what we were seeing and was very knowledgeable about the many bird species, plants and trees, in addition to the mammals that everyone goes to see. The entire team made us feel very special and well cared for. We can't say enough or thank them enough.

Kenya Safari with Travel For Change
5/5

My wife and I just got home from a 9 day, 8 night safari with Travel for Change Africa and I wanted to hurry and write this review because the company, tour, and driver/guide were just that amazing. Safaris can seem daunting and expensive when looking to book them from the US, but Patricia provided a customizable quote that was entirely within our (modest) budget. She contacted us regularly via email and WhatsApp as we approached the date of the safari, and was very professional. As other reviewers have said, a safari is "made or broken" by your driver/guide, and our guide, Patrick, was perfect. A twenty-plus year veteran of the industry, he seemed to know everyone (he was always shaking hands with fellow drivers) and everything (from an obscure bird to the best place to go in Samburu to see lions). Needless to say, we saw lions, elephants, giraffes, leopards, cheetahs, rhinos, hippos, etc., many of which Patrick seemed to find for us! While this company may not be that well-known, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I warily contacted a few reviewers here prior to booking for reassurance, and I will happily reassure anyone looking to book with Travel for Change.

Had a fantastic safari in Tanzania, and were in good hands from start to finish
5/5

We (4 people from Germany) had an 8-day custom-made safari including visits to Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. Also the first night we spent at Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge near Arusha, and on the last day we took a transfer by plane from Seronera airstrip to Arusha airport.
All the time we felt totally safe and in good hands, as the staff from Travel For Change were very professional and friendly and always supported us with anything we needed during our trip.

For all the planning and arrangements it started with Patricia, who not only was very responsive to our wishes, but also made good suggestions. Also she never lost patience with us! ;-)
Asante sana, Patricia!

Arriving at JRO airport we were immediately welcomed by Silvia, who stayed with us until we arrived at Ngare Sero (btw: incredibly beautiful and peaceful) and supported us until everything was clarified for us, so we could start relaxing and recovering from the long journey there.
Asante sana, Silvia!

Also right in the beginning we met Ely, who not only drove us from JRO to Ngare Sero while already telling us a lot of interesting things about Tanzania during that route, but also was our driver and guide during the whole safari. He simply seems to know *everything* about this great country, the people who live there, the different tribes, the history of East Africa, and of course the wildlife. It was a pure pleasure to learn so many things from him. Of course he also showed us all the animals but also never got tired explaining any aspects that could be interesting for us. He always seemed to know what the animals had done before we found them, why there were doing what they did right now, and what they would do next. It was unbelievable. Also he not only was very responsive to all our wishes but also made very useful suggestions about our safari, even changing our itinerary to give us the best experience possible. On our last day on safari he stayed with us at the Seronera airstrip until all of us were airborne (we had to split on two different planes), taking care of everything that had to be done. At the end it felt like he was not only our guide but also our brother and friend.
Asanta sana, Ely, you're great!!

As a side note: All the cars we used were overall in good condition, and during our safari we always had plenty of cooled drinking water at our jeep.

P.S.: I'm sorry that I forgot the name of the driver on our very last day, who drove us together with Silvia from Arusha airport to Ngare Sero (yes, again, because it's just soooo nice there) and later finally to JRO. Needless to say, he's a good guy too. :-)

Excellent customer service, amazing experience
5/5

Patricia and her team did everything possible to give my friend and I a wonderful and unique safari experience. She thought of everything - even small details - and ensured that this once-in-a-lifetime experience will never be forgotten. If you want an affordable (relatively, because safaris are not cheap) experience with a company that will look after you, do not hesitate to go with Travel for Change Africa. I can't thank them enough for the wonderful communication, attention to detail, and the care they have shown throughout my entire journey. Highly recommended, indeed.

My wife and I just returned from an amazing week long trip to Kenya, that was entirely arranged by Patricia from "Travel For Change". She took care of all the details from air reservations, to arranging our lodging and meals as well as providing us the worlds best guide and driver, Max. Every detail was perfectly attended to, and they receive our very highest recommendation. You are going to be spending A LOT of time with the guide/driver, so this is a very important component of the trip. We couldn't have been happier all around.

Really nice experience, recommend it!
5/5

Travel For Change Africa was recommended to us by a friend who travelled with them in 2016. We did a ten day safari in Kenya and Tanzania. I must say we were impressed by the level of professionalism exhibited by the company. Email response was really fast, and Patrick our Kenyan driver was very knowledgeable and fun. We learnt so much about the animals and the people of Kenya. The journey to Isebania border was a full day game drive. As a cautionary tale, clients should be careful when crossing from Kenya to Tanzania through the Isebania border because in our case the drive was very long and hectic and the roads were no good. Anyone who doesn't fancy long drives can request for a flight even though it's a little bit expensive. We did not have any extra money for a flight so we opted to go for the drive. The Travel for Change sales team advised us to either fly or spend a night in Lake Victora to reduce the driving distance but we were very eager to get to Tanzania so we did not agree to either of the two options. Our Tanzanian driver James was not only knowledgeable but also fun as well. In short, we tremendously enjoyed our stay in both countries and we couldn't have asked for more. Asanthe Travel for Change team for the wonderful experience.

Best Tanzania Safari Ever!!!!
5/5

Being a student in Canada and doing a safari in Tanzania with my college buddies was a once in a life time experience for us. We did 8 days safari at Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire and Ngorongoro Crater. Serengeti was by far the coolest park I have been to! Our driver Jimmy was excellent and the vehicle that was provided was awesome!! The side windows had flaps and it was like we were using an open sided land cruiser. Thank you so much Travel for Change team for taking good care of us and we will definitely travel with you again and recommend you to our friends and family.
