A Great operator and the best guide for a safari
I had a safari experience with my friends and we chose to organize it with Gladiola Adventure, also encouraged by the previous reviews, which were very positive and in line with our feeling for the trip. The organization was perfect and everything was as we would have liked it to be. The thing that took the experience to the "wonderful level" was our guide Regie. he explained the animals and their habits to us in detail, making every day very interesting, furthermore he was ready to listen to us, our questions and also our needs, responding and satisfying them as best as possible. At the end of this experience we saw all the animals, took wonderful photos (here only some photos taken with the cell phone, the ones from the camera are better, I swear) and spent wonderful moments in this country. I highly recommend this experience

Excellent experience with hiring RAV4 from Gladiola
I approached Gladiola at midnight of the day before I needed to hire a car, because another company let me down. I received an initial response after midnight, and confirmed a vehicle hire before 9am the following morning.
The company representative was at the agreed point for both pick up and drop off, dead on time. He was 2friendly, helpful and professional. The vehicle was in good condition, and I had no mechanical issues whatsoever.
I would strongly recommend Gladiola to others looking for a reasonably priced ($90/ day for unlimited km, plus $20 each for airport drop off and pick up) 5 door RAV4 with a retractable roof panel.

Perfect experience in Tanzania
We had the opportunity to hire a self-driving vehicle with Gladiola Adventure Arusha and from the first moment of contact everything was really perfect, the communication with Didas and his assistant Melkiory both before and during our trip was total, both always attentive to solve and respond to any Consultation, your great experience is noted. Regarding the unit, everything was 10 points, a beautiful toyota land cruiser with a roof tent and fully equipped for cooking, refrigerator included to enjoy some well-deserved cold beers at the end of the safari day. Excellent all round and a complete 10 out of 10! My husband and I have just spent seven incredible days on safari with Saimon as our guide and Abdul as our cook. What an experience that will truly live with us forever! We advocate ethical, responsible and sustainable tourism and they delivered completely. Loving all forms of wildlife from small to large and birdlife we saw the big 5, huge number of birds and so much more. Saimon's ability to spot from a distance was brilliant and his immense knowledge of Tarangire, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara gave us many advantage points away from others. Abdul was a great cook and we enjoyed a varied menu including lovely local dishes and we certainly didn't get hungry! All our campsites were in beautiful locations and extremely clean so don't discount basic camping as an option. We cannot recommend Saimon, Abdul and Gladiola Adventure enough!
Always felt we were in good hands with people who cared that we had a wonderful experience
This is my 2nd experience with Gladiola. I really like the fact that they are own by a Tanzanian. The owner and staff are extremely caring and rightfully so, very proud of their country. All details are seen to. They work hard to design the type of safari that is best for you. Their prices are less inflated than some other companies, presenting good value. The driver/guide that has now led our tours twice is an outstanding person and guide. They are a young company and still getting familiar with all the lodgings, so let them know if you are not certain about anything in particular on your itinerary. Their vehicles are kept in very good shape (extremely important!!!) and their driving is very safe - again, this is so important (I've travelled in Africa many, many times.....) I strongly recommend them!

Wonderful Tanzania guide/driver
Our guide/driver Lalashe was just a wonderful person and within our first day felt like a friend ir family member. Wonderful safari experience
The two of us had an absolutely wonderful time for almost three weeks on our roadtrip through Tanzania, visiting several parks. We stayed overnight at most lovely and sometimes remote situated tented-camps. The Tanzanian hosts were always very friendly and helpful. We saw the amazing nature, many, many animals and also the culture of the people.
Our guide, driver and travelling companion, with a good sense of humour, Reggie (‘Wiki Reggie’), had all the information you could wish for on the animals, landscapes, and so much more, so a big round of applause for him!
We thank owner Didas and his team a lot for the personal attention, advice and service, in advance and throughout our roadtrip, All the necessary communication went super fast!

Tansania'23
In August this year, we hired a Toyota Landcrusier from Gladiola Adventure for 18 days. We were very excited with our German mentality and the awareness of how contracts are organised in this country.
We were in contact with Didas from the beginning of March and prepared our adventure as self-drivers.
He always responded to us quickly and was very supportive.
On 2.8.23 the time had come. Didas personally brought the car to Dar es Salaam. After an introduction to the handling of the roof tents, the accessories and the technique of changing tyres, we set off on a fantastic journey through this beautiful country.
Our fridge gave up the ghost in Lake Manyara National Park. A day later we had a new one. It was really great how Didas stood by our side and helped us the whole time. We also organised the permits for Ngorongoro by phone and WhatsApp.
The people in Tanzania are extremely friendly and helpful. It was a wonderful experience to experience this country as a self-driver and we can highly recommend it. Gladiola Adventure with Didas is also an excellent address!!!
We will definitely be back.
One small thing dear Didas: please put some new camping chairs in the camping equipment ;-)

A fantastic journey through Tanzania thanks to Reggie.
We rented a 6 passenger Land Cruiser. A great, comfortable and brave car. Very reliable. I highly recommend Gladiola. The owner - Didas is very nice and helpful. If you ask he will definitely try to meet your requests. We had an amazing guy named Reggie traveling with us. Whenever he is available as your travel companion, take advantage of his expertise.
