An epic trip with African Traits!
We just came off of a 9 day trip to Tanzania and Zanzibar with African Traits. There were 30 of us! They were wonderful. Our guides were so fun, friendly and knowledgable. We were so well taken care of every step of the way. The accommodations were great and the add-ons such as the balloon ride at dawn over the Serengetti was priceless. Would highly recommend Godfrey and his team!

Incredibly amazing African safari experience!
Godfrey Willy and his team at African Traits are top notch! I’ve visited 6 continents in my lifetime, and the Serengeti safari tour and Zanzibar experience that were planned and carried out by the African Traits team were my very best experience by far! The guide team was well versed and extremely knowledgeable about the Serengeti, the accommodations and amenities were top-notch, and the overall experience FAR exceeded my expectations!
Major kudos to Godfrey and his team! On a scale of one-to-ten, I would give them a rating of 15!

Professional and attentive
Our experience with African traits was great!
We relied entirely on this local agency to organize a week to climb Kilimanjaro and a week of safari. They proved to be highly professional, everything was planned and taken care of in detail. Expert and professional guides with a high level of English. High level accommodation, splendid locations within the parks during the safari and always excellent food.
The care of the guides on Kilimanjaro regarding the state of acclimatization and our general physical condition was also important.
Absolutely recommended!

National Treasure
African Traits planned for us the trip of a lifetime and went out of their way to make sure we had an unforgettable experience. The itinerary, accommodations, and food were first rate – exceeded all expectations. They also were flexible in allowing us to tailor our itinerary so that we could hook up with friends one day.
Our guide is a national treasure. He knew just where to go to see the best sites and shared his knowledge and experience with us at every turn. He also made us feel comfortable even in difficult driving situations. We felt so fortunate to be with him, benefiting from his wisdom, for ~10 days.

I went on a nine-day safari in Tanzania with my two children (aged 13 and 15).
Godfrey, the head of African Traits, personally helped us plan a great route with beautiful accommodations. He was very dedicated and responded to my messages from Switzerland within hours.
A few weeks before departure, he helped us think of everything important so that we would be perfectly prepared for entry with visas, vaccinations, etc.
From the very first minute, everything went smoothly – the organisation was top-notch, the accommodation was beautifully located and the programme was perfectly coordinated.
Our safari trip through Tanzania was simply unforgettable!
A very special highlight was our guide Benjamin – absolutely professional, incredibly experienced and with a keen sense for nature and animals. He responded perfectly to the three of us travellers with a keen sense of our wishes. Not only did he answer all of our questions with great knowledge, but he also made sure that we were able to see spectacular wildlife – including lions, elephants, giraffes, buffalo and even a leopard.
Unlike some other guides, he always respected the animals and never forced anything, which I really appreciated.
As a mother of two children, I felt very safe every second. We were in the Serengeti National Park.

The support we received was outstanding—not only during booking but also throughout the preparation phase. From detailed packing lists to practical tips and helpful insights, everything was thoughtfully provided. Upon arrival, everything worked exactly as promised. We were met at the airport in the middle of the night, and our safari guide was phenomenal—highly experienced and eager to show us everything we hoped to see.
The accommodations exceeded expectations, matching or surpassing what was shown in the photos. The hotel in Zanzibar was simply amazing. African Traits had been recommended to us by friends, and we would wholeheartedly recommend them to others as well.
