Superb tour guide
5/5

We went on a 3 day, 2 night safari to Twiga Lodge with Frank Tours. The itinerary looked amazing and Frank arrived on time which was great (especially in Uganda!).

We drove 7 hours to the lodge stopping off at the Rhino Park on the way. The Rhino park was fantastic, it was a trekking safari and we managed to see 7 Rhinos!! The lunch was also delicious.

We then spent 2 nights at Twiga Lodge. The accommodation was amazing, comfortable, immaculately clean and very spacious.

The morning of the safari was amazing - Frank was a great tour guide with a good eye for the animals! We never would have spotted half of them on our own. We managed to see the Big 5, along with a lot of other animals. I have done a day safari before, but nothing like this. It was absolutely brilliant.

We also did a boat trip along the Nile, and managed to see a lot more wildlife along the way. The boat went all the way to Murchison Falls which was stunning.

The next day before our road trip back to Kampala we went to see the top of Murchison Falls which was awesome! The power and noise of the water was overwhelming.

We had an incredible experience with Frank. It was great to spend time with such a professional and experienced guide. The tour was absolutely amazing and definitely worth every penny,

I would not hesitate to recommend the tour and I would definitely use Frank Tours again!!

Thank you Frank!

We saw so many beautiful nature and animals. We fell from one amazement into another. The landscape is very diverse and the tour company organized it perfectly. We went to many different beautiful places in nature and got to experience the culture of Uganda. The accommodations were to dream of and the food in Uganda is great and very healthy. We felt very welcome. Frank Tours really made a difference. The guides and everyone we met were very helpful and proffesional. We truly had one of the best vacations of our lives. We will definitely be back.
We highly recommend booking with Frank Tours. Communication was perfect and we had a lot of fun with Frank.
Thank you so much!

It was a really pleasure to travel around with Frank Wataka. First to the West part of Uganda to experience the real village life and after that one week to the North part of Uganda around Moroto. Totally 2 different parts if Uganda. It was really a fantastic time. Thank you very much Frank. Guiding is your passion and it was making our trip unforgettable, because you have connections every were in Uganda and it was amazing that it was not a touristic tour but really local. That was our wish and you arranged everything very well.
Webale munonga mukwano Frank.
Best regards Irma from the Netherlands

Everything was good except accommodation.
3/5

Food was excellent. Tourist van and the driver was also excellent. Driver was very friendly and professional. At night national electric supply went off, total dark, too hot. Staff were very friendly, tried to give solar connection but failed. Air cooler in the room did not work, after requesting, staffs could manage fan but too small. We could not sleep, coz too hot. Most of the time, staffs disturb us for fixing AC, but no result. Other than accommodation, everything went very well.

The safari was made through the northern part of Uganda and it each day was well planned. The accomodation was perfect and the driver of that tour was a gem you are lucky to have. All in all it was a tour we will not forget for a very long time.

It was super easy organizing the trip with Frank, he was receptive to all my interests and my bucket list (and there were many), speaks great english, and its very knowledgeable about his country and east africa in general. Maybe not the cheapest option but need to consider the Great service and reliability. I highly recommend him!

Dedicated, knowledgeable and an excellent advocate for Ugandas natural beauty.
5/5

The trip we did with Frank Tours was an extensive journey anti clockwise around Uganda over 21 days. We started in Entebbe and spent the first week exploring the eastern side visiting Jinja, Sipi Falls, Moroto and Kidepo.
From there we visited Murchison Falls, Kibale and Queen Elizabeth National Park before heading to Bwindi to see the Gorillas, then onto Lake Bunyoni, Rwakobo Rock then back to Entebbe to fly out.
We loved that Frank had such fantastic local knowledge and engaged local guides to take us on walks, to visit small communities and even take us to their homes. Our itinerary was flexible to a certain degree meaning we could swap activities or cancel a game drive if we needed a quiet morning. Nothing was too much trouble for Frank.
We felt we gained a deeper insight into Ugandan life through this more extensive tour.
All the Lodges chosen by Frank were in stunning locations with very helpful staff and great food. From cleaning our boots to washing our clothes nothing was too much trouble.
The tour included the favoured Ugandan highlights such as the Chimps and Gorillas but Uganda is so much more than this.
Sitting in a small wooden canoe watching the sunset on Lake Bunyoni and hiking up Mt Moroto with a local guide for me was as great an experience as the chimps and gorillas.
