An unforgettable safari with Dana Safaris
We have just returned from the most incredible safari experience with Dana Safaris, and we genuinely cannot recommend them highly enough.
Our safari began in the Masai Mara with Clement, who was a wonderful guide from the very beginning. He was warm, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable, with such a genuine passion for the animals and wildlife. He was exceptionally quick at spotting animals and always seemed to know exactly where to look. We felt completely looked after and had some truly unforgettable sightings with him.
We then continued our journey with Hauth, who was absolutely incredible. He was everything you could want in a safari guide — professional, calm, kind, patient and incredibly intuitive. What really stood out was his ability to anticipate animal behaviour. He seemed to know what an animal was about to do before it happened, which resulted in some phenomenal sightings and photographs.
Hauth took us from the Northern Serengeti and the Mara River, through the Central Serengeti, into the Ngorongoro Crater and finally to Tarangire National Park. He navigated an enormous itinerary with complete professionalism and made every day feel effortless.
We saw things we will remember for the rest of our lives — the Great Migration and an actual Mara River crossing, lion cubs, cheetah, leopard, and an incredible nine rhinos in the Ngorongoro Crater, amongst so many other amazing animals.
A special mention also has to go to Daniel from Dana Safaris, who was fantastic throughout the whole planning process. He was always available whenever I had one of my many questions or concerns about how everything would work. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and he was incredibly reassuring, responsive and helpful. Knowing that I could message him and get a quick answer made the whole trip feel so much more relaxed.
But what made the trip truly special was the guides. Their knowledge, enthusiasm and care made us feel that this wasn’t simply a safari — they genuinely wanted us to have the best possible experience and share their love of Africa with us.
A huge thank you to Daniel, Clement, Hauth and everyone at Dana Safaris. From the initial planning right through to our final day, everything was incredibly well organised and we felt completely in safe hands.

Absolutely Unbelievable Tour!
My wife and I joined the 12 day safari starting and ending in Nairobi and visiting the following national parks: Amboseli, Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, and Maasai Mara. The tour was absolutely unbelievable. Our two guides (James in Kenya and Johnson in Tanzania) were amazing. The guides were so informative and they were great at finding animals. We were fortunate and viewed the Big 5. We actually viewed three leopards on three separate game drives. We also viewed a cheetah with her four cubs. The guides made sure we were safe and comfortable. The accommodations throughout the safari were fantastic. The trip couldn't have been better.

Very professional.
We contracted Dana to help us with a safari in Kenya plus extension to Diani beach, and we didn't regret our choice at all. They helped tailoring the trip to our wishes and in the end everything went as planned. Reliable and good value for money. If I ever go back in a safari, I will use their services again for sure.

Unforgettable 8-Day Tanzania Adventure with Dana Safari!
We just returned from a truly wonderful 8-day safari trip with Dana Safari, and we cannot recommend them enough! Our itinerary covered Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, the breathtaking Serengeti, and the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. Every single stop on this journey offered unique landscapes and incredible wildlife viewing opportunities.
The entire tour was exceptionally well-organized from start to finish. The accommodations chosen for us were fantastic—clean, comfortable, and far exceeding our expectations after a long day of game drives. But the absolute highlight of our trip was our tour guide, Said. He was remarkably knowledgeable, friendly, professional, and reliable. What truly impressed and impacted us the most was Said's deep passion and his genuine love for Tanzania's nature and wildlife, which shone through in every story he shared and every animal we encountered. Thanks to his expertise and sharp eyes, we successfully spotted all of the Big 5! Beyond his tracking skills, Said kept us safe, informed, and filled with so much joy along the way. Africa Alive and with us forever!
My wife and I are in our late seventies and wanted one more great adventure. We chose DANA East African along with our best friends from high school.
The tour was fabulous! We saw the Big Five , the wildebeest crossing the rivers, leopards sleeping in trees, danced with the Mesai, floated over the Mana in a hot air balloon and so much more.
The camps were really four star with the most delightful breakfast and dinner menus. We were always able to keep our families updated at night in very well appointed sleeping quarters.
Truly, the trip of a lifetime.

well-organised & executed safari experience
Daniel from Dana organised our Tanzanian safari, and the entire experience was seamless. Every accommodation was booked according to my preferences, and everything ran exactly as outlined in the itinerary. Daniel checked in regularly throughout the seven-day trip to make sure everything was going well and that my expectations were being met. I highly recommend Dana for a well-organized safari experience.

The tour was very well organized and communication was excellent. Our guides were very knowledgeable and made our safari an unforgettable experience. The safari game drives were all exceptional and we saw so many animals.

Excellent From Start to Finish
Before we left home we felt confident that we'd made a good choice for our Safari. Communication was easy and the itinerary detailed and clear.
The reality turned out to be so much better than we’d hoped and now it's over, we're already thinking that we need to return.
We'd travelled previously overland from Victoria Falls to Cape Town but this time we wanted to see East Africa... and wow! We certainly did see it!
We had two driver/guides; one in Kenya and the other in Tanzania, and Richard and Phillip are both excellent. Their knowledge of their country and wildlife really brought the journey to life.
The accommodation for the most part exceeded our expectation, likewise meals and services. Every detail was planned, the National Parks we visited were each different, the itinerary is fast paced, we covered a lot of ground... and we loved every minute of it.
If there were any issues our driver/guides dealt with them or Daniel was at the end of the phone. Everything was easy and for 12 glorious days we felt very lucky indeed.
If you're considering Dana, then book, relax and have a glorious adventure. It's fast, there are long drives and some roads are a challenge but you will not be dissappointed!
What memories we have! Thank you Dana! We'll be back in a year or two!

Unforgettable experience and well organised
Our itinerary and supporting information was communicated well in advance then Daniel arranged our hotel in Nairobi and met us there for a briefing. We were well prepared.
Our driver met us on time on the first day and the border crossings were smooth even though we had to change to a new driver on the Tanzanian side. Both Philip and Richard were first class.
Every day was different and superb. We saw so much and the drivers knew where to go and explained everything. Accommodation and food was generally very good. We fed back to Daniel about one less than optimal hotel which he immediately said he would switch out of the itinerary.
We were not safari novices but this Dana tour lived up to our hopes and more.

Personal and proffesional
The team at Dana were most helpful and flexible. We travelled with children age 7 and 10 and we felt well looked after by Nicholas in Nairobi, Moses in Tsavo and staff in Mombasa/Galu Beach.
We had put together a plan for the trip ourselves and Dana fulfilled all our expectations. Thank you Daniel and the team!
