Tanzania Adventure with Vervet
We just returned form the most amazing Safari with Vervet Safaris. Our friends recommended Vervet and we are lucky to have heeded to the their counsel as our trip has been glitch free from the beginning to the end. Rachel was our contact person an she has helped us a lot in creating an ideal itinerary and also ensuring that all our details and documentation was in order. She also did all our logistics and even assigning an Melkiot as our guide.
We visited Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti where we tasted the true African adventure and saw the animals from close proximity in their natural setting.
Vervet has made the extra effort to make clients comfortable, the vehicles were comfortable, with WIFI, electric charging points, refrigerator, wet wipes and a host of other gadgets just to make our off-road game drive comfortable. Melkiot is very knowledgeable and brought the narration about Tanzania, culture and wildlife to us in interesting flows.
Tanzania is truly beautiful because I understand that there are many other parks some which are almost untouched and yet in these parks that we visited we had an amazing experience of elephant herds blocking our way, lions sleeping under our vehicle, cheetah clambering on top of the vehicle....... so many special moments to document.

Wonderful Family Safari
My family had the most amazing safari in Tanzania with Vervet Safaris a wonderful local operator who has given us the most wonderful experience. We arrived in Tanzania in a late flight and were happy to find a representative fro the company waiting to take us to our hotel. Very early the following morning Agnes from the office came to our hotel and introduced us Moody our guide for the trip. We had a detailed safari briefing and then left Arusha for Tarangire at around 8.30 am. Tarangire has mixed habitats with some grasslands, swamps and lots of baobab trees. There were so many herds of elephants, giraffes, baboons and we even spotted the African wild dogs which I understand was a lucky sighting as they are quite elusive.
Moody then took us to Lake Eyasi Basin where we spent time with a family of hadzabe hunter gatherers who live just by hunting and gathering wild fruit, roots and stuff. The following day took us to Ngorongoro Crater where we descended to the crater floor experiencing the beauty and abundance of wildlife conserved within the area. We also went to Ndutu area and saw the thousands of wildebeest and it was an amazing sight.
Vervet Safaris gave us the most wonderful tour for a very reasonable price and we recommend them to those that are looking to get value for money and not compromise on quality

Great Machame Trek
My wife and I recently did 6 days Kilimanjaro Machame Trek with Vervet Tours and it has been one of the most remarkable experiences of my life.
The climbing crew from Vervet comprises of experienced professionals whose duty is to get the Trekkers to the summit and back safely. Our chief guide Titto leads a well oiled team comprising of porters and a cook. They looked after our well being very well ensuring that we were fit and healthy all the time.
The food was very good as it was always fresh, hot and prepared by our cook. Titto encouraged us a lot with good advice on how fast to go, when to rest and how to tackle altitude sickness. When my wife and I got to the summit safely just before sunrise we wept tears of joy for we were finally on top of Kilimanjaro. We took several photos before beginning our descent.
We are very happy with Vervet Tours for giving us memories to last us a lifetime.
They are a great company with a great climbing crew and they will not disappoint.

Great Trip with a Great Company
My family went on a 6 day with Vervet tours and we had the most amazing experience. We saw the big 5 and many other animals. My kids really clicked with our driver guide Nicholas who drove beautifully and also knows his way around the parks so that we got to see the best of Tarangire, Ngorongoro and Serengeti. He took time to answer all our questions and also added a lot of information about the culture, game parks and so much more. The vehicle was quite comfortable with good shocks as most of the drives are away from tarmac and we hardly felt a thing.
We were hosted in top class lodges with excellent service, great food and nice places to sleep. In general the whole tour felt like a really fantastic holiday where you spend the day in the African bush and the evening being pampered in luxury and comfort.
Great TRIP, Great COMPANY!!!

Unbelievable Fantastic Trip
This trip has impressed my family beyond our wildest imaginations. We did not think that the stories that we hear about Serengeti and Ngorongoro are true but we have finally experienced the moments and they are wow.
Our guide was Melkiot was very good, very knowledgeable and eager to please. He made sure we weer happy and kept on asking what we wanted and then he would get if for us!
The Jeep was in top condition and did not break down even once despite being driven on some bad roads.
The Lodges were very good and served excellent food. I particularly enjoyed the service at our campsite in Serengeti.
We saw very many animals and in the end we were thrilled and wowed by the adventure.
I recommend Vervet Safari Tours with no reservations. They are a great company and put together an amazing itinerary for us.

Fun on our Trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti
We joined a group of other travelers on the trip to Ngorongoro and Serengeti. They have an excellent guide in the name of Basili who worked so hard to make us happy and see most of the big 5 and other animals during our trip. Agnes was also great in organizing and coordinating this trip and ensuring that everything went smoothly.
For quality budget trips Vervet Tours is the best!

Great Safari! Well Done Vervet
We are writing to tell you that we were very impressed with the wonderful service from your team during our safari to Arusha National Park, Tarangire National park and Ngorongoro last month. Fantastic Classic Tanzania Tour
We did the classic northern Safari with Vervet Tours and have had such a memorable and amazing experience that is beyond our wildest dreams. Rachel was such a darling in handling our booking. She promptly answered to our emails, made arrangements for our accommodations, park fees, pickup times and passed so much information. When we landed in the airport Melkior was there waiting for us. He was also our guide for the next 7 days. That evening we also met with Basili and Rachel who came to our hotel for the Safari briefing and also gave us lovely gift hampers.
Our guide Melkior took us to 4 lovely parks where we saw an incredible number of animals. The balloon ride over Serengeti was perfect. Moving slowly over the huge herds of wildebeest in the early morning and taking it all in. Another lovely experience was the viewpoint in Ngorongoro which has breathtaking views of the crater.
Tarangire and Lake Manyara were also fabulous.
This tour involves a lot travel between the parks but we hardly noticed as Melkior kept us busy with interesting stories and the vehicle was pretty comfortable as it is customized for the unpaved roads.
Our thanks go to the whole team from Vervet who were there every step of the way from the time we landed to the time we took off.
We have so many fond memories from our tour and we will tell all our friends and family about your exemplary service.

Another Wonderful Adventure with Vervet Safari
We were a group of 3 teachers and 9 students from Halifax and just returned from our tour of Tanzania. We had such an amazing experience visiting the parks and communities in Tanzania. Our school has a continued connection with Vervet tours and we have not been disappointed. They are a very professional company with a rich history of social responsibility.
We went in two great off-road vehicles with 2 drivers who took great care of us in the wilderness exploring.
We visited Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti and Lake Manyara which are all different and unique in their own way. The experience with the Maasai, Hadzabe, and the local school in Karatu gave us great insight about the local communities.
We loved our experience with Vervet Tours and we'll be back next year for a different experience.

The best safari tours in town :)
We decided for a 6-day private camping safari and can really only say good things :) everyone has super effort and try everything possible to fulfill all wishes! Our own chef Viktor was really great and has enchanted us every day with great food ... our guide Richard was also awesome, he knew exactly where he can find the best animals for us!
In addition, Vervet Safaris has offered us the cheapest price, so it was a great stroke of luck! Since we arrived a day earlier and had some time left, they also went out to dinner with us, drove to the bank and accompanied us to a typical Masai market and all this at no extra charge! Just awesome :)!!
So if you are looking for a great safari, for a really fair price we can only recommend Vervet! We have rarely experienced such a great hospitality :)
