Seeing the wonders of Uganda with Ugandans
5/5

Our group of eight really enjoyed our 2 night 3 day safari to Murchison Falls National Park. Moses and Israel looked after us so well and are so knowledgeable. When planning the trip, via email, all our questions were answered and the competitive price delivered just what we wanted. What finally clinched it for Love Uganda was the fact that some of our money was going to support an orphanage. So many good things done by Ugandans !

As the name says, you too will Love Uganda
5/5

We traveled to Uganda Dec 17, primarily to see Gorillas.

Despite warnings on the Aus Gov website of reconsider travel we went ahead, and glad we did as the Ugandan people were wonderful, friendly and welcoming and we did not feel uneasy, afraid or threatened for a moment in the 2 weeks we were travelling

After doing a lot of research, and speaking with previous customers, we selected Love Uganda.

One of the main reasons was that they are actively involved with, and most of the profits go to, a local orphanage that they support.

I dealt with Coleb through the booking process and he could not have been more helpful or responsive.

Our divers and guides (David and Israel) were thorough professionals and made the trip so much better than we had hoped for, including arranging a cake for one of our party who had a birthday during the trip.

The activities we selected, and those that were recommended by Love Uganda, were all wonderful.

I would thoroughly recommend Love Uganda, and if we are lucky enough to go back to the region would not hesitate to travel with them again.

Only things that I would point out are
-we were a group of 7 and the van for a group of this size may not suit everyone. It was fine for us, and pretty standard for Uganda, but may not be good for everyone
- make sure that you think about times and what you want to see. I was really hoping to visit a Batwa community but we ran out of time. I should have thought more and listened to Coleb, would have planned a second night at Bwindi. Driving times are much longer than you expect.
- Stay out near Kibale. We were at Royal Kazinga cottages. Staying near Kibale you can do night walks and not waste hours driving

Your perfect tour partner in Uganda
5/5

My husband and I had a wonderful fortnight in Uganda, thanks largely to the unwavering commitment and attention to detail that Love Uganda displayed at every turn. Our itinerary took us through most of southwestern Uganda including the Murchison Falls National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kibale National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park. Love Uganda organized both our transportation in a 4x4 as well as hotel bookings for our entire itinerary. Our driver/guide, Moses and our tour organizer, Israel did a sterling job of making us feel welcome in their beautiful country and ensuring that we wanted for nothing during our stay. Both of them went the extra mile to ensure that we got the most from our trip including refusing to give up on the more elusive sightings in the Ugandan wild. We were keen to travel with a local home grown operator, fully aware that the more prominent international companies were in any event relying on local talent to put their itineraries together. We were persuaded to opt for Love Uganda by the uniformly good reviews that previous travellers had given them. I am glad to say that they did not disappoint. Their network of local contacts ensured that every one of our experiences was smooth and seamless. I would heartily recommend them to anyone looking to explore this beautiful country.

Phenomenal Road Trip Through Rwanda and Uganda
5/5

I booked a three week tour of Uganda and Rwanda with Love Uganda Safaris as a solo traveller in July of 2017. The tour was extensive, beginning in Kampala, then going through the Mabamba Swamp, the rapids of Jinja, Murchison Park, the Rwenzori Mountains, Kabale Forest, Queen Elizabeth Park, Lake Bunyonyi, Nyungwe Forest, and Kigali. I sent a request through the website of the central tourism agency and received dozens of suggested prices. I was immediately struck by the honesty and professionalism of Love Uganda Safaris, which offered me the fairest price. My Emails with the company were always answered immediately, and I just knew I would be in good hands. The trip itself was phenomenal; Moses and Israel, my guides, were super-friendly and well informed, and even the longest car rides passed quickly with them. I very much enjoyed seeing the orphanage run by the company--one of the best parts of the trip was the fact that a large percentage of what I paid goes directly to charity. I noticed that some of the reviews complain about problems with hotels or with the transportation, but this was not my experience. Most of the hotels were phenomenal, and when they were less than stellar, it was because I had asked for budget accommodation to lower the cost of the trip. And occasional roadside problems are par for the course when you're dealing with unpaved streets and insane traffic. Overall I would unequivocally recommend Love Uganda Safaris. They really went out of their way to tailor the trip to my needs and make it one of the most unique travel experiences of my life.
