More than a five star experience
5/5

In july 2017 we went on a six day safari with Easy Travel. We visited the Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, Lake Manyara National Park and Tarangire National Park. We had the best driverguide; Thomas. He is enthusiastic, incredibly knowledgeable, very attentive to our needs and wishes, and he's very respectful of the nature and the animals we encountered. He's one of the main reasons our safari was such a big success and he made our safari experience perfect! Besides that he has a great sense of humor and we enjoyed his company.

Easy Travel (Norah) made sure it was a very smooth planning process and good communication before, during and after the safari including pre- and post briefings at the office. They made sure we got exactly what we wanted - in fact we got much more than that.

Excellent tour, pleasant and enjoyable
5/5

It was our first trip to Africa and we found that the level of service in Africa, especially that is provided by Easy Travel much better than expected. Norah (the customer relationship staff) was very quick in responding to all of our emails. Emillian, who accompanied us throughout the trip, is a very good, reliable, and knowledgeable driver guide. He even found my phone that was dropped from the jeep somewhere in Serengeti. He has eyes like a hawk and spotted animals that we could not see on our own. Hotels, camps, food, and facilities were very comfortable and enjoyable (we booked the 'Comfort' package and it lived to our expectation). The only thing that did not surprise us was the village tour that involves a visit to a village very similar to where we come from (Indonesia). The village trip should have been replaced by the much sought Maasai village visit (which we eventually did with additional fee). We were also not very comfortable doing the bargaining with the locals at the Maasai village. Otherwise, Easy Travel is fully recommended!

Amazing Safari Experience with Easy Travel!
5/5

Easy Travel arranged an amazing safari for us!

We contacted Easy Travel a few months before the safari and asked for information / pricing for a private safari for our small family (mom, dad, four-year old daughter). The communication in the booking process was great. Norah from Easy Travel suggested an itinerary based on our needs. We had quick feedback on questions and received information about traveling on a Safari that helped us prepare. Norah also followed us up during the Safari to ensure that everything was OK. There was also a debrief after the safari with Norah that enabled us to give feedback. This is a professional company that knows how to operate a business.

We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngoro Ngoro crater during our safari. We visited Mto wa Mbu village for cultural activity and that was quite good.

We could not have been happier with our guide (Everest). He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He drove on roads / parts of Serengeti that was less crowded and it made the experience feel wild. He is also an extremely good animal spotter.

The camps/lodges were great. Our favorite was the Serengeti Tortilis Camp. This camp is in the middle of Serengeti. I have never been in a hotel/lodge/hotel with more friendly staff. Quite special to stay in the middle of Serengeti with all the wild-life around the camp.

Easy Travel has a new car park that is serviced and maintained. We did see a few cars that was broken down during the safari. You should make sure to check this with your potential safari provider.

Tip; visit the snake park – we had a great guide and it was quite interesting. They also have a Masai museum. We felt the Masai museum and our guide gave more correct/interesting information than we had at a Masai village visit. This was also a lot cheaper than the Masai village visit.

Wonderful Private Safari and Cultural Tanzania Trip!
5/5

My wife and I had an unforgettable private safari trip with Easy-Travel(ET). We have contacted a number of Safari trip companies and we are so glad to make the final choice and went with Easy-Travel. Because ET was the last few companies we have contacted, we already had an idea how we wanted to spend the 8-days safari trip. Nonetheless, our consulting agent Godfrey was just so thoughtful and lined out the perfect schedule that we thought it fully utilized our time at Tanzania.
Godfrey was very responsive and clearly answered every questions we had and provided good suggestions. During our trip, we visited Lake Manyara, Lake Eyasi, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater.

Our guide was Hamdani, he was just excellent! Consider him the walking encyclopedia of wildlife, plants, geography and history of Tanzania. We didn't know much of wildlife (or very minimum) at the time of starting the trip. At the end, we could easily identify animals, tell their habits etc. It was like we finished a course of Safari-101! Hamdani had eyes of eagles and spotted wild-lives in distance. We were fortunate to catch leopard, the most secretive of the African big fives, three times during our trip. We saw groups of lions and elephants in very close-up distance and got some great picture shots. Not to mention other wild-lives all along our trip. You will get overwhelmed (well, in a good way) of safari animals. What impressed me most about Hamdani was that he was so proud of Tanzania.
Not only the safaris, but also the culture, the people and the nation as a whole. He was a great Tanzania promotor and encouraged us to spread the words of this wonderful nation and we certainly would do.

Another highlight of our trip was the visit to the Hadzabe and Datoga Tribes. It was totally a cultural shock and unique experience. These two tribes are not as advertised as the Masai people but it was very well worth the visit. Thanks to Easy Travel for the arrangement and we were lucky enough to have Mamoya as our local tribe guide. (These tribes speak their own languages). If you are reading this review and interested in some unique cultural experience besides safari. Please find out more and you won't regret!

The lodges and tents that we have stayed:
-Acacia Farm Lodge: Beautiful, very spacious rooms, great food and friendly staff.
-Kisima Ngeda Tented Lodge: Hidden germ, living in the woods, great food, warmhearted owner and staff. Don't forget to climb up the hill to see the sunset!
-Serengeti Tortilis Camp: Luxury in the tents and wild! Hyenas/lions were around at night. Superb staffing and food. Only drawback is that hairdryer is not allowed.
-Mbalageti Tented Lodge: Unbeatable view at the restaurant. A good stop at the Serengeti west corridor.

Easy-Travel logistics and the company:
Easy communication and payment, easy airport pickup and initial briefing. Got a chance to visit their new headquarter at the end of our trip for the farewell briefing. Very well organized company and excellent staffs. Impressed.
Using their slogan on the car to end our review. "Easy-Travel: Your Tanzania Friend". It truly was!

Excellent safari experience with Easy Travel in Tanzania
5/5

One of the reasons we picked Easy Travel rather than other safari operators was the professionalism in responding to inquiries and their assistance in the trip planning process. Michael answered numerous questions and helped create an itinerary that worked well for the three of us- giving us a variety of parks and wildlife viewing. The safari more than lived up to our expectations. Our guide Hamdan, was very knowledgeable about the wildlife and birds we saw throughout the trip which added to our experience.

Amazing Private Safari!
5/5

My boyfriend and I chose a 6-day, 6-night safari with EasyTravel from Arusha including one day in Tarangire, three 1/2 days in the Serengeti, and one day in the Ngorongoro Crater. This was the perfect length of time and Gladys from the EasyTravel office did an outstanding job planning an itinerary that was both relaxing and exciting, and that accommodated the incredible wildebeest migration. Our tour guide, Emanuel, was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of the local animals, birds, and plants knows no bounds, and he kept the schedule flexible so that we could choose when we wanted to leave and go home every day and made sure we saw the animals we wanted to see. We saw the Big Five in addition to many, many more amazing animals. Emanuel was funny and kind and kept the mood positive and did an excellent job getting us the perfect vantage points from which to watch events like an elephant fight, lion cubs wrestling, and lions eating a freshly killed zebra. A truly unforgettable trip.

Trip of a lifetime!
5/5

Sadik our guide and Tito our chef teamed up to give us a trip of a lifetime! It started late Sunday night when much to our surprise, after our flight was delayed ~7 hours, Sadik was still waiting at the Kilimanjaro airport to take us to our lodge. From there we hit up Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. We saw all the wildlife the parks had to offer and learned a lot from Sadik along the way. And despite camping in the bush, Tito served up gourmet, multi-course meals. We did a lot of research on safari company options and are so happy with our choice. Easy Travel is a great value (it was much cheaper than other options).

Great Safari
5/5

Elias was our guide for 4 days and we couldn't have asked for a more patient, friendly, knowledgable person. He definitely made the experience complete for all of us. We were comfortable, didn't feel rushed and appreciated that Elias really took the time to get to know each of us and learn about what we all really wanted to get out of the safari. Thank you!!

Great Company, Easy to Deal With
5/5

Trip Planner: Gladys Wilfred
Transfer Driver: Said
Tour Guide: Cornel
Length of Stay: 9 days
Tour Type: Private

In looking for a safari company to use when traveling to Tanzania, we were advised to keep to companies based out of Tanzania itself opposed to another country; that is one of the best decisions we made. Upon comparing various companies to use, Easy Travel TZ consistently proved to be the most economical and reliable, among other factors that made Easy Travel TZ the best choice.

To begin our safari planning, I contacted Easy Travel TZ and was promptly put in touch with our safari planner, Gladys. From the first moment I spoke to Gladys, she was 110% committed to not only creating a safari that fit our needs, but made sure to take into account our budget. I was pleasantly surprised with how quickly Gladys created a possible itinerary in a VERY easy to understand chart. [I am very visual, so this was a huge help to me] One of the biggest things that gave me great confidence in Easy Travel TZ from the beginning was how transparent they were about everything, from the price to what was and wasn’t included in that price. After going back and forth a few times with Gladys, we created the perfect itinerary that took into account both what we wanted to see within a price that suited us. Throughout the whole process, Gladys was very considerate about what we wanted, revised our itinerary as many times as needed, and never go impatient about having to change various things for our trip before we confirmed it. Once we confirmed our trip she created a more in-depth itinerary which I also really appreciated, because the last thing one wants is miscommunication on what was expected. Also, a clear invoice was created that she kept updated as payments were made. When everything was settled, payment and itinerary, Gladys told us who would pick us up and our safari guide.
Upon arriving in Tanzania, we were met by our transfer guide Said who had our sign, was ready to go, and made sure we were comfortable. [our flight was a bit late, but he was right up front and ready] Getting to Arusha was no trouble and Easy Travel TZ made the entire process effortless. We had a free day in Arusha, however, Gladys still made a point of coming to see us at our hotel in the evening to discuss our trip and make sure everything seemed fine. This was a nice little touch since it’s always good to meet the person whom you’ve talked to for many months online.
The next day our guide, Cornel, was eager to start our safari, had the vehicle ready, and came to our hotel on time. One of the biggest things that will make or break a safari is the guide, and I am happy to say we had one of the best guides out there as a first safari to Tanzania. The entire time Cornel was attentive, spotted the animals, and was well versed about the animals in each park. Throughout the whole trip, Cornel was very easy to talk to and always made sure to accommodate us in anything we needed. During our drives, he skillfully maneuvered the hard terrain and made sure the ride was as comfortable as he could make it. [keeping in mind the roads are very bumpy, something the drivers cannot help, but he did a great job nonetheless] It should be added, the vehicles Easy Travel TZ uses are in very good condition considering the roads they travel on, and we never had a break down. When we arrived at each park he was able to spot the animals, from a huge Elephant to a tiny Lizard running along a rock. Not only did Cornel do a phenomenal job spotting animals, he knew facts and figures about every animal we saw. Along with knowing information about each animal we saw, he had extensive knowledge about the villages and parks we visited. No point during the trip did I feel Cornel didn’t care about finding the animals for us, and one time he said, “You guys just relax and I’ll do the work of finding the animals”. It was a real pleasure having Cornel as a first-time safari guide [our first safari] and will definitely ask for him next time if I can. Along with driving well, he always made sure to park so that we got the best view possible. Whenever we entered a new park he did all the paperwork for us and we had no issues at all, too. Even towards the end of the day when we were getting a bit tired, Cornel never stopped scanning the land for animals. To say the least, Cornel is very dedicated to giving the customer a great experience.
After the safari when we came back to Arusha, Gladys met us one more time to make sure the safari went well and if we had any feedback. This was nice because you can tell Easy Travel TZ is devoted to making sure the customer doesn’t feel forgotten once you send them your money and that if there’s any issue they are there to assist. Unlike some companies who may just send you a survey at the end of a trip, Easy Travel TZ meets you in person after the trip to make sure everything went well.
I highly recommend using Easy Travel TZ for any of your safari [and climbing Kilimanjaro] needs, be it a group safari, private safari, day safari, or week long safari. No matter what you’re looking for, they will work with you to create a memorable trip that fit within your budget. Plus, no matter what your budget, the places they select for you to stay at are comfortable.

Thanks Gladys for organizing our amazing safari, and Cornel for being an incredible guide.
