Great safari with Easy Travel!
Looking to organize a safari in Tanzania? We did this experience in the spring of 2022 for a trip in July 2002, and we know how time consuming it is to choose the agency, the route, the type of safari and accommodation. Back from this fantastic trip, we are delighted to have made the excellent choice of Easy Travel, a local agency, with a very long and very professional experience.
THE PARKS: According to the agency's proposal, we visited 4 parks in six days of the program, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Tarangire, at the beginning of July. We were 3, two adults and a teenager. It's intense, but it's worth visiting these 4 parks (to be precise: 3 parks and a conservation area, the Ngorongoro), they are very different from each other. We had hesitated to visit only three of them, and to sacrifice Lake Manyara, but it has the advantage of cutting the route before driving to the Serengeti (chaotic roads). We are glad we spent two nights at the Serengeti, it was worth it. And we really liked Tarangire Park, which many visitors mistakenly miss. In short, the program offered by Easy Travel was excellent.
OUR GUIDE: We were accompanied by Gerald, a very cool guide, with 20 years of experience; thanks to him, we have lived magical moments. In terms of wildlife, we saw an extraordinary diversity of animals (lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, hyenas, giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, monkeys, ostriches, gazelles, impalas, wildebeests, eagles, vultures, toucans and so many others...). Gerald not only has eagle eyes, he also has an in-depth knowledge of the animals' way of life and their behavior. In addition to his immense knowledge as a wildlife guide, Gerald is also an experienced driver, which is reassuring on the rocky tracks where many jeeps suffer.
THE ORGANIZATION: To organize our trip, we were in regular contact at Easy Travel with Lizbeth, who was also very professional. She was always available to answer our questions, and sent us a very useful checklist to prepare for the trip, especially with regard to formalities and health.
ACCOMMODATION: We have chosen a formula offered by Easy Travel, namely a glamping formula, tent accommodation, but all comfort (large beds with thick mattresses, shower, "lounge" area). Advantage: proximity to nature (hear wildlife at night), while having an excellent level of comfort. Three of the camps (Tarangire, Serengeti, Lake Manyara) are located inside the park, an important factor in maximizing the chance of seeing animals at the best times. The chain that owns these camps is called Tortilis Camp, and these accommodations are truly amazing. The teams that manage them take great care of their guests, and are super friendly. Security is also top notch. In Ngorongoro, part of the money donated to the camp is used to finance the school in a nearby Masai village.
THE ASSESSMENT: There are a hundred agencies offering safaris in the great parks of Tanzania, with different levels of services. We obviously have no point of comparison, but Easy Travel is really an excellent agency, very reliable, with a clear ethic and the constant concern that its customers are satisfied. Trip of a lifetime
We did the 7 Days Mara River Migration Safari at the suggestion of Kabwe who was absolutely the best at what she does. She helped us through the booking process every step of the way and checked in with us throughout our Safari. Her professionalism and expertise made our trip the best it could possibly be. Kabwe listened and understood our needs and made sure we chose the right safari package. I would highly recommend Kabwe to help with your booking needs. As if that wasn't enough, we were fortunate to have been assigned Ombeni as our driver guide, who is simply the best in his profession. Ombeni was not only fun to be with, but he also served as a valuable educator to help us understand all the animals and landscapes we witnessed. He is clearly an intelligent and experienced guide and was able to answer every question we threw at him. It's quite possible he knows everything about everything. He also has a vast network of friends and colleagues in the park who he is in constant radio and telephone communication with to ensure we reached important sightings in time (e.g. wildebeest migration, cheetah hunting/eating a gazelle, lion cubs hiding in a ⁰bush, and even the rare black rhino). He also somehow had the uncanny ability to always be in the right place at the right time for us to bare witness to all the wildlife we could have dreamed of. The experience we had with him was unreal. We started the trip as clients and ended as family. We will be recommending both Kabwe and Ombeni to all our family and friends as they were instrumental in making this trip a lifelong memory.

Exceptional service and an unforgettable safari

Kabwe is the most patient, helpful and courteous safari specialist who worked tirelessly to give us the best designed trip for our needs. During the planning stages, she offered prompt and insightful suggestions and answered all our questions via email and Whatsapp, which was very convenient. Her dedication is evident through her timely and detailed responses that helped clarify our questions and concerns. We arrived at JRO in the middle of the night. but she was still available to help us as we encountered some issues. She kept in touch with us during and after the trip to check in with us. Her dedication to customer satisfaction is tremendous.
Ombeni was our driver-guide for the 7-day Mara River Migration Safari. His expertise, communication and dedication were exceptional. His experience and network of colleagues gave us an advantage to be able to see the wildebeest crossing multiple times. His binocular eyes were able to spot and find us so many animals, it was unbelievable. He was flexible and worked with us to focus on what we wanted to see and do. Each day topped the last as we continued to see the amazing wildlife and beauty of Tanzania. By the end of the week, we were family and sad to part.

10 Days Safari in Tanzania
My family and I spent a wonderful 10 day safari organized by Easy Travel. Even the communication to plan the trip was a pleasure. Lightness answered all my many questions accurately and professionally within 1 day, in a most endearing manner, and she organized a wonderful tour for us according to our wishes.
We went to Arusha and Tarangire National Park, then to central and northern Serengeti and in the end to the Ngorongoro Crater. It was our driver-guide Dennis who made this long safari one of our best holidays ever. He is unbelievably knowledgeable regarding wildlife, all the animals and their different ways of living, but also regarding the country and its people. Driving the car the whole day, he safely mastered most difficult streets, and he spared no effort in order to show us as many different animals as possible. He really had long and exhausting days, but he never let us feel that. He also was a most pleasant company and he took very well care of us.
One of the most stunning events we observed was the great migration of the wildebeest in Northern Serengeti, and here the highlight was their crossing of the Mara River and the capture of an unhappy wildebeest by a crocodile. Apart from that, we saw many lions (including one unsuccessful hunt), herds of elefants playing with each other, leopards lying in the trees, many different antelopes, hippos, ostriches, zebras and, and, and... It was an unforgettable experience to see all the animals in nature and to enjoy this wonderful landscape. The long game-drives never became tiring because we were always busy peering for animals and enjoying to observe them.
We also did two walking safaris accompanied by an armed ranger which was a wonderful experience, too.
We were very comfortable in the camps (comfort style), where we were always welcomed very warm-heartedly, sometimes even with traditional african songs sung by the staff.
We can highly recommend travelling with Easy Travel, and of course with our excellent driver-guide Dennis!

Customized Tanzania Safari of a Lifetime (Good Vibes)
I cannot say enough good things about the trip planners and drivers/guides working with Easy Travel and Tours out of Arusha, Tanzania. Before heading to medical school I decided to plan a trip with my sister to go on safari in Tanzania. Having experience with safaris I knew what I wanted to see and where I wanted to go but I did not know what travel agency to use. After doing a deep dive into many travel agencies in the area I decided on Easy Travel because of their incredible reviews from past clients and their ability to truly customize a safari itinerary. Easy Travel and Tours planned our trip and made it operate seamlessly. I worked closely with Amina who helped to make my dream safari vacation come true. She walked me through our options for length of stay, accommodations, locations, etc. For months we went back and forth with our ideas until we had created a trip of a lifetime, and that is exactly what it turned out to be. I cannot thank Amina enough for her incredibly thorough and passionate work with us. Once we arrived in country we met our driver guide, Ombeni. If we hadn't seen a single animal, the trip still would've been incredible because we got to speak with and learn from Ombeni every day. He was eager to tell us about his life story and his family, as well as about the Maasai people and the wildlife that we saw. He took us on an unbelievable safari with sightings I could never have imagined. We even listened to tons of American music during the long drives between camps so we called the trip "Zuri Vibes" meaning "Good vibes". And good vibes there were all around during this once in a lifetime trip. Easy Travel and Tours and their friendly and passionate staff made this a trip I will never forget. I have already recommended Easy Travel to family and friends if they are looking for a safari vacation and If I am ever back in Tanzania, I know what company I will be using to plan my trip. Adventure of a Lifetime thanks to Easy Travel
We had an absolutely brilliant experience with Easy Travel. We visited Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Lake Eyasi. Our driver and guide Ombeni worked extremely hard to make sure we saw the Big 5 (leopard, lion, water buffalo, rhino and elephant). Not only did we see the Big 5, we saw animals that are rarely spotted on safari. He found cheetahs for us (including one with 4 baby cubs), jackals, warthogs, hares, cerval cat, caracal, mongoose, baboons, monkeys and even honey badgers. He took us to see lions hunting and migrating wildebeest and zebra that stretched across the landscape as far as the eye could see. He was able to explain everything about the animals, their habits and habitats. When Ombeni told us “keep eyes busy” we knew we were going to see something good.
Not only did we learn about the animals, he taught us Swahili, Swahili songs, and all about different tribes across Tanzania. His driving skills were amazing, getting us safely over slippery and bumpy roads and deep mud. The man has serious driving skills. He also had a great sense of humour and a very approachable, honest and open personality that made us feel like we were on a trip with another family member. We could always rely on him. I highly recommend that people request Ombeni when booking a safari.
We also noticed that Easy Travel’s sales consultant was more helpful than others. Lightness from the Arusha office was extremely patient with all of our questions, and when we wanted to stay in a place that they didn’t usually offer, she would arrange the booking. She even called places for us while we were already out on safari, saving us time. Lightness also made sure we had accommodation and transport even after we finished our safari. We felt as though Easy Travel was always looking after us.

Trustworthy and reliable company for safaris and trekking
Our second trip with Easy Travel was just as good as the first. Lizbeth did a great job arranging our trip, which included a four-day hike to the summit of Mount Meru and a seven-day safari which included Tarangire, Ngorongoro, and Serengeti national parks. Emmanuel and Jackson were excellent guides on the Meru climb and made sure we were able to summit successfully. Adrian was fabulous as our safari guide, anticipating our needs and making sure we saw a wide variety of wildlife. Highlights included 3 river crossings at the Mara river and plenty of lion, elephant, and bird sightings. Saw a pair of Rhinos in the Ngorongoro crater as well. Easy Travel arranged all our activities and transfers, making the trip a seamless experience. We would definitely book with them again!

Amazing 5 days safari
We chose Easy travel for our 5 days safari in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro and we are really satisfied and happy with our decision. Norah was super helpful and always ready to answer every question we had during the reservation process. During our safari we stayed at Tortilis campsites, and they were above our expectations! The tents were very clean, comfy and cozy. The staff took care of everything to make sure you enjoy every minute there. Finally, our guide Abisai was the best guide we could ask for. He is very friendly and patient. He drove us to every corner of the parks we visited, and his wide knowledge on wildness allowed us to spot the big five and come back home with unforgettable memories. We highly recommend easy travel and Abi for your Safari in Tanzania. Thanks again for such an amazing trip!

Review of Tanzania Simba Safari - 5 Days
I loved every minute of my time in Tanzania, expertly arranged by Lizbeth at Easy Travel. Easy Travel is well named! All the details were magnificently covered by Lizbeth and she communicated regularly with us. Our travel was easy and without a glitch. Lizbeth solved any problem we encountered! She anticipated our needs perfectly. We chose the luxury accommodations but Lizbeth will work with you to fit your budget and interests.
The most thrilling part was in the Serengeti with Adrian and Hubert, our drivers who also were exceptionally knowledgeable guides. On day three they tracked down three lionesses that were hungry on a hunt. We observed these same lionesses for nearly three hours. Our drivers followed them and moved us close in so we could witness this remarkable event and capture much of it on camera. This was truly the most thrilling event of my long life! (I am 70 years old and have traveled quite extensively). Our Safari was an incredible success. We saw all of the Big Five thanks to Adrian's and Hubert's expertise and persistence to do so!
Zanibar at the Baraza was a beautiful and relaxing ending for a perfect Safari. If you go on Safari, choose Easy Travel to make your arrangements, Adrian and/or Hubert to drive your car and you will have a perfect Safari, too!

Summiting Kilimanjaro in the most perfect way possible
We recently booked the 7 day Machame Route to Kilimanjaro with Easy Travel and I can’t thank them enough for making this trip absolutely perfect! Thanks to this incredible team and their outstanding support I was able to experience this amazing life changing trip!
To start off, when we arrived in Tanzania we were picked up at the airport by their very friendly and careful driver George and taken to the Arusha Planet Lodge where we spent the night in a lovely hotel. The next day our guides Moussa and Frederick as well as Voice who was greatly managing the entire trip met us at the hotel for a briefing. I was immediately blown away by their positivity and kindness and knew that we were in good hands! After the briefing our guides checked our equipment and as we were missing some items, Voice kindly arranged a vehicle to take us to the city with our guides to rent the remaining equipment. The next day were picked up by a bus and met some of the crew. We drove to Machame Gate and our amazing journey started there. Mike our friendly waiter served us a delicious lunch made by our talented Chef Amos and afterwards we started the beautiful hike through the jungle with our guides. Once we arrived at the first camp the team had already set everything up everything and we were served another delicious meal. Over the next six days, we continued our hikes with the outstanding support of our team and magically summited Kilimanjaro right as the sun was rising. My words cannot express how beautiful this whole trip was and how it has changed my life. Without our amazing team we couldn’t have made it to the top so I want to thank each and every one of you - our guides Mussa, Frederick for leading the way with their positive attitudes and encouragement and making us feel safe through the whole journey - our camp manager Hassan for always making sure everything is set up perfectly and for encouraging us through our summit- Amos for making so many delicious vegan meals (thank you for adapting to our needs) - Mike our friendly waiter who always brought us delicious meals and made sure we had enough water - and Po, Idy, Alfonse, Sibruan and Timoth who made sure we were taking care of all the time- THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!!! I’m so grateful to you all for allowing me to have this incredible experience. I recommend Easy Travel to anyone looking to book a trip to Kili!
