EasyTravel "The Perfect 7-day Tanzania Safari" -- easy and perfect it was!
5/5

We went on the 7 Day "The Perfect Tanzania Safari" and perfect it was from start to end. I had found Easy Travel online and contacted them. They were responsive within minutes to hours from determining what safari was right for us; booking; planning; and answering questions multiple times before our arrival - it is rare to see such prompt and useful communication from any travel provider. Our guide, Emmilian, was AWESOME. Firstly, never have me met somebody who is perfect for the job and clearly loves it. Not only does he know more about wildlife than we knew possible - he also loves to share what he knows and does so at the right time at the right pace: beautiful communication! Easy Travel also selected wonderful properties - especially the Lemala properties at Tarangire Mpindo Ridge and Serengeti Nanyukie Tented Lodge where we were treated like royalty from the accommodations to the food to the service. Overall, we recommend EasyTravel to anyone and we are excited about which safari we will take with them next time!

Great Service. Wonderful Times.
5/5

My friends and I were planning a trip with Easy Travel before the pandemic. I verified there were no hidden problems with them. They belonged to the right organizations, had great reviews on several websites, and answered all my questions promptly. We postponed our trip to Tanzania when the pandemic hit.

We recently restarted the trip selecting the following excursions: 1) 9 days Lemosho Kilimanjaro trek, 2) 9 days Serengeti Great Migration safari. Several people drop out on one or both events due to medical problems. I only did the safari due to a medical problem with my back.

The trekking team arrived first to start their trip. The safari team would join them when the trekking team completed their climb. Too bad the luggage for the trekkers didn’t arrive with them. Their bags were lost in the sea of luggage somewhere.

The trekking team started to panic since the hike started the next day. Masuma from Easy Travel handled the situation. She contacted the airline to monitor the status of the luggage. She arranged transportation into town so the trekking team could pick up supplies if the luggage didn’t arrive.

The luggage arrived the next day. The trekking team quickly sorted through the bags for trekking equipment. They then left for a climb of a lifetime. One of the trekkers got ill on the mountain. He was safely escorted back down to town several days later.

The trekking team was very happy with the porters and guides. The guides provided encouragement as each step grew more difficult as the elevation increased.

I arrived a day early to check out the town and make sure my luggage arrived with me before I started the safari. The safari had several different comfort levels. We picked the “Comfort” level. The camps consisted of individual tents for room along with a dining and lounge tent. Inside each tent, it looked like a basic motel room. Bed(s) in the front with a flushing toilet, hot shower, and sink in the back. The “Luxury” level provided too much comfort for us. Some of the lodges had a pool. I came to see the Great Migration, not swim in a pool. The lodges are in a fixed location. It’s great if the migration path is next to the lodge, otherwise you need to spend time traveling over the bumpy dirt roads to see the migration. None of the camps disappointed us.

Our guide Adrian has been guiding for many years. It’s extremely easy to get lost in the Serengeti National Park. Most of the dirt roads are not marked so an experienced guide is a necessity. Adrian’s sharp eyes saw animals we didn’t see initially.

The thousands of wildebeest migrating was a sight to behold as they covered large tracts of land. The wildebeest crossing the crocodile infested river was a little more difficult to find as they would graze and not move, but after waiting and going to several different crossing sites we saw a herd crossing the river. It was a pretty safe spot crossing the river with no animals being eaten by the crocodiles.

We saw a plethora of different animals to the point where we were ignoring many of the animals unless they were doing something interesting (e.g. - eating prey).

Masuma was monitoring our return flight as we returned back to Arusha so we wouldn’t be surprised at the airport if our flight was canceled or delayed. We really appreciated the little details they provided to guarantee us a pleasant trip

I think I would not forget this trip in my life.
5/5

It was super hard to decide which trip to take at the beginning. Although I know some people travel independently, but for me, who can’t drive, I might as well forget it! Later, I read a few blogs and wrote emails to inquire about 2 travel agencies. Norah from easy travel responded very quickly and patiently. Thank you to Masuma later. After more than 100 emails, my itinerary was decided, and they also Give you everything you need to know and do before your trip.

As soon as I got out of the airport, I was looking for my tour guide in the sea of tour guides. Fortunately, Hussein found me. Then when I went to the office, Masuma kindly explained my next itinerary and gave me her contact number, so that I could participate in the itinerary alone. Feel safe.

On the second day, Claus, my tour guide for this trip, picked me up at my place before the scheduled time, along with Samsoni, the accompanying chef. It took a long time to drive the car to Serengeti National Park, and Claus and Samsoni were there all the way. Someone was concerned about my condition. On the first day, I saw a group of giraffes, a group of buffaloes, and elephants very close to me. After arriving at the camp, my tent was quickly set up for me to rest.

The highlight came on the third day. I saw a hot air balloon flying in the morning, and then saw a cheetah (5 meters away) basking in the sun, a leopard walking, a lioness and cubs with food (1 meter away), and a male lion (1 meter away). ), giraffe fights, zebras, antelopes, hyenas, large and small elephants crossing the road and playing in the mud, buffalo... When we returned to the camp, there was a group of large and small giraffes grazing in the camp. It was a very satisfying day.

On the morning of the fourth day, I saw 2 crocodiles, a large group of hippos, and wild boars... I went back to the camp for lunch and moved to ngorongoro. When I first arrived at the camp, there was an elephant grazing next to the camp. When I went to the toilet before going to bed at night, There was one zebra grazing next to my tent, and several others in and around the camp.

On the morning of the 5th day, we entered the beautiful ngorongoro and saw male and female lions performing indescribable movements, flamingo, rhino (although it was a bit far away, but we were lucky to see it), and a lake that was like a fairyland on earth...

Claus is very professional, patient, has great eyesight, has rich experience, drives very steadily, is very caring, and has a sense of humor. When he sees a lion's footprints, he drives in that direction. He knows what the animal may do next, and he takes one step ahead to prepare for the distance. I couldn't see anything but he knew there were animals there, allowing me to reach Big5.

The breakfast, lunch and dinner prepared by Samsoni were all very good, but there were too many to finish. He set up the tent quickly and was very patient even if I was in the way.

If you want to see scenery and animals you have never seen before, don’t want to drive or don’t know how to drive, welcome to join easy travel. It has itineraries of various lengths, seasons, national parks, and accommodation plans. You can always find one. What you like.

If you are a girl traveling like me, based on my experience this time, I highly recommend you to join the easy travel itinerary.

This experience will really be something I will never forget. I just want to stay a few more days and come again with my family.

An inforgettable safari with an excellent guide!
5/5

During our very first visit to Tanzania, we visited 3 of the national parks: Tarangire, Serengeti & the Ngorongoro crater. Thanks to our guide Simon Boimanda, it was an unforgettable experience! Simon is a very competent guide, with excellent knowledge of the animals, natural environment and his country. We were very impressed with the way he navigated the roads full of potholes and managed to spot the animals at the same time! During the safari we saw an incredible number of animals, including a leopard and cheetah up close! Simon is a friendly, sociable person who has a passion for wildlife and a great respect for the animals. He was able to answer all our questions about the animals we encountered and helped to make this a memorable holiday which we will look back on fondly for years to come!

Excellent for Kilimanjaro hike
5/5

Friends of ours had recommended Easy Travels, a local company in Tanzania for our mount killimanjaro trek. It was the best decision we made. The package for our group of 5 people was reasonably priced, and we got more than our money's worth. They gave us a support crew of 21 which included 3 excellent guides, cooks, porters etc all of whom were very helpful and caring. Roland, the head guide, Hemebi and Erick, the two assistant guides were our biggest support. Cannot praise them enough, they are not only experienced, they were also extremely caring and sensitive to our needs, they were always there besides you when they sensed you were struggling with something. Also have to mention Maina, one of the porters who was always with us and ever ready to help when needed. The tents and sleeping bags were of high quality as was the tent we dined in.
All 21 of them went out of their way to make sure we would make it to the top.
Voice Gerson our contact person and coordinator is also par excellence. She is quick with her responses, was always available and very patient with all our questions and concerns.
Future trekkers we would highly recommend Easy Travels

A real easy traveling experience with Easy travels
5/5

We had booked with Easy travels for our Kilimanjaro trek and a safari tour after the trek after great recommendations from our friends who had experienced the services provided by Easy Travels.
We were surely not disappointed with the entire schedule set by the company for both the experiences.
Our Kilimanjaro trek was executed with such warmth and patience with the mountain guides and porters that assisted us on the trek which was for 8 days.
Kudos to Roland,Erick and Hemed who were our amazing guides that made each day so motivating and eventful until our Summit ascent and descent. The porters provided for our trek were so full of enthusiasm and gusto, helping us whenever we needed that extra push to move forward.
The Safari tour organized after the trek was so rewarding in terms of lodging, meals and the knowledgeable guide Freddy who made it such a thrilling experience for us all.
I will definitely recommend Easy travels to family and friends. Very professional and especially Voice Gerson who was always there to answer any queries we had regarding both the trips and eased our minds.

Safari tours with vast experience
5/5

I had awesome time in northern Tanzania. Voice from Easy Travel & Tours planned my safari to perfection. I got a true expert guide Emmilian. He had vast experience and we spotted loads of animals in lake natron, manyara, ngorongoro and tarangire. Emmilian loves the nature and this is showing when he tells you about the animals and national parks. Food was also amazing during the safari! If you want quality you are safe to choose this travel company.

A Wonderful Safari
5/5

We have just returned from a wonderful adventure thanks to Denis our guide/driver and Norah, our agent at Easy Travel. We were a group of six friends traveling together. The tour and lodging was chosen by us with Norah’s guidance. Denis made this an excellent trip from the moment he met us at the airport. His big smile and genuine personality made us feel at ease the moment we met. All through our trip, Denis was there to make sure we had an excellent adventure. He always asked for our input on what we wanted to see and he made it happen. We always felt safe while we were with Denis. We traveled from the airport to our hotel in Arusha on day one. He was happy to share his knowledge with us as we passed different points of interest. Our first stop on the safari was Lake Manyara. Denis did an excellent job searching for animals and getting the best spot to take pictures. We had a nice relaxing lunch in the park. We spent the night in the beautiful Serena Lake Manyara Lodge. Our next day we set out for the Serengeti. It was a long, bumpy ride, but Denis continued to share his knowledge of the area with us. We spent two nights in the Serengeti at the Tortilis Camp. During the day we did the game drives and found so many different animals. Ultimately, we found the big five and many more. After the Serengeti, we headed to the NgorongoroCrater. WOW – what a beautiful setting. We stayed the Serena Ngorongoro Lodge. An absolutely beautiful lodge and the kindest staff. Our room overlooked the crater and a perfect night to watch the full moon rise over the crater. Another successful game drive in the morning and then onto Tarangire National Park. It is a beautiful park where we saw lots of different animals and landscape. We stayed at the Sopa Lodge in Tarangire Park. The lodge is beautiful, rooms were very comfortable and service was excellent. Everyone on this trip was so kind and helpful. Thank you to Denis, Norah and staff for helping to plan and execute such a wonderful trip.
