I compared several local operators before choosing Tazama, and they offered the best value, with competitive pricing and excellent accommodation options. The owner, Anthony, was very responsive to emails, and communication throughout the planning process was smooth and efficient. He genuinely tried his best to accommodate all our requests, even arranging the specific rooms we wanted.
Our tour guide, Fred, was absolutely wonderful. He is reliable, trustworthy, patient, and kind. He never overpromises, but he always remembers your requests and does his best to meet your needs. He was punctual every day, drove safely, and consistently made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. We felt we could completely trust him, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Thanks to Fred, we had incredible wildlife sightings, including all five of the Big Five and all five of the Ugly Five, along with so many other beautiful animals. It was an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Safari with Tazama Africa Holidays
We had an unforgettable safari in Kenya with Tazama Africa Holidays. From the beginning, the team was extremely responsive and professional—every question was answered quickly, which made planning completely stress-free. The itinerary was well arranged, and they also helped us book the exact hotels and lodges we wanted. Everything went smoothly.
A huge thank you to our guide, Fred. He was outstanding—very experienced, knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. On the first day, he already led us to see a leopard and cheetahs, and on the second day we saw many lions. Every day, we were able to see the animals we wanted to see. Thanks to his experience, we saw incredible wildlife and learned so much about Kenya. He truly made the trip special.

If I come to Africa again, I will still choose tazama.
Our guide this time is Moses, who has 11 years of experience as a guide. He took us to see a lot of animals, such as lions, eyelashes, hippos, cheetahs, leopards and so on. But the most touching thing is that he has been considerate of us. We can't use the shilling visa card when we go shopping in the supermarket. Moses helps us pay to solve our urgent need. This is really a touching experience, and I will always remember it.

We recently had an incredible private safari in Kenya with Tazama Travel Agency, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Their communication from start to finish was fast, transparent, and reliable, offering great overall value. A guide can make or break a safari, and our guide, Fred, was exceptional—he was incredibly punctual, kept our vehicle spotless daily, possessed deep knowledge of Kenyan history and animal behavior, and showed immense patience with our photography requests. For future travelers, we strongly recommend paying trip fees online in advance rather than in cash, as local financial institutions are extremely strict about the condition of physical US bills and will reject ones with minor marks. Additionally, small currency exchanges can easily be done directly at the lodges, and for Masai Mara, staying near Zebra Plains yielded significantly more wildlife sightings. We highly recommend Tazama Travel Agency and specifically requesting Fred for an unforgettable trip!

From the very beginning, Anthony was incredibly helpful in putting together an itinerary exactly the way we wanted it, and his support made this dream trip a reality. Everything was thoughtfully planned, and Kenya completely exceeded our expectations.

Well organised, with a guide who spots everything
Tazama organised our 6-day safari to the Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli, and everything ran smoothly. Denis replied quickly before the trip and even booked our train tickets. Our guide Hirum was punctual and has amazing eyes – he found us lions feeding and even serval kittens nursing. He's also very warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

Epic 8-Day Great Migration Journey with Martin
If you want to witness the Great Migration in Kenya, do yourself a favor and book with Tazama Africa Holidays! We spent 8 unforgettable days exploring the savanna, and our guide Martin was phenomenal. His eagle eyes spotted animals we would have completely missed—from lions camouflaged in tall grass to leopards lounging on acacia branches.
