Kampala City Tour With Friendly, Knowledgeable Ronald
I did a 1 day Kampala city tour with Ronald and was very satisfied. Price was fair but moreover Ronald was friendly, knowledgeable, imformative and I felt safe at all times. He’s a true asset to this company and Uganda tourism as a whole.

Amazing
I actually travelled with Ronald twice during my trip to Uganda. My intention was to only do an ordinary safari (Queen Elizabeth), but after my first incredible experience, provided by the ever professional Ronald, I wanted to experience more. Ronald convinced me that seeing the gorillas was an opportunity I could not let slip me by, but seeing as my time and budget was fairly limited I thought that it couldn't be done. Ronald made it happen, by squeezing in tracking to only two days and by restricting the budget to match my resources. All in all I'm very satisfied with both my wild life experiences and believe that I got the best safari provider out there. So yes, I recommend Kajie safaris to anyone wanting to get the experience of a life time.

Would deffintely highly recommend to anyone
Very professional & very experienced!! We loved our tour guide Ronald's passion for his job, his knowledge about Uganda & on the game drives, we had lots of laughs & would recommend to any of our friends and family to book with him! Nothing was ever too much trouble if we needed something & he was always on point with keeping us very well hydrated. Our favorite part of our 3day trip was hiking Murchison falls...it was hard work..but worth it once your up the top as the views were breath taking...and once again Ronald was waiting for us up the top with cold bottles of water & always willing to take a photo for us too!! You won't regret going with this amazing company..you'll be very well looked after that's for sure!!

Helpful, careful and great fun.
We employed This company to take care of us last time we were in Uganda.i have to say that Ronald, our driver, enhanced our trip more than you would ever think. He is an exceptionally energetic and reliable young man. From the beginning he took care of us, meeting us from the airport and doing whatever we wanted, except what he thought was unsafe. The young man knows his way around the system. He is fully aware of what is interesting, fascinating and exciting but equally what is dangerous. The prices are reasonable and the company is totally reliable. I recommend it highly

A great safari experience!
I just came back from my 11 days safari in Western Uganda organised by Ronald from Kajie Safari. During preparations, he was reachable 24/7 and open to customize our stay, find a balance between low-cost and mid-range lodges given a strict budget and guide us through a reliable pre-payment procedure. During our stay, I found out that Kajie Safari is not your regular Tour Operator: Ronald who was our guide/driver all the way through, could provide insights on wildlife and nature (enabling me to grasp the basics being a true city gal) of each national park, Ugandan geography and traditions, but was also open to discuss everyday life and hobbies of a young modern Ugandan man (#GamesofThrones). He is a good driver (for me a combination between safe and fast), eager to settle you first at the lodge (before other tourists), providing you with snacks. In short, he is making sure that you are fine, which is quite important considering the roads in part of the country. After 11 days, the four-wheel drive Toyota Van will definitely convince you of its advantages compared to a "range rover" type of vehicle. My highlights clearly were the tracking on foot of rhinos, chimps and gorillas, which provided me with adrenaline spikes for the rest of my life. But also the red colobus monkeys playing while having morning tea with the soothing murmurs of the Kibale jungle, the sweet lady-finger-bananas eaten in the car, the flamboyant sunset in Queen Elisabeth Park, discovering the taste of confort food such as Matoke, the calm and friendly ways of Ugandan going about their business... I'll stop here, you know what you should do.

customer care
Kajie safaris lived up to expectations. The communication lacked ambiguity. The safari tour was excellent.
In brief i plan to travel with them next time in December. Over all the customer care was excellent.

Ronald from Kajie was great but not a good experience with our guide
Ronald at Kajie Safaris was so wonderful in preparing a great itinerary for myself and my mid twenties daughter. He was quick to respond to questions (and there were many) and he was really flexible even when we had to make a late change to our dates and perhaps if he had been our guide our safari would have been better. Our guide (more a driver than a guide) was Wycliffe and he was awful. He was rude, unhelpful and didn't tell us information we needed for different game parks. We would arrive and then he would tell us we needed certain things which we had back at the camp, he deliberately didn't tell us things until it was too late. We had to ask him for information about what we were doing the next day he would just tell us to be ready at a certain time without any reason such as we need to get a 7am ferry! He seemed to have a set against us from the beginning he didn't even step forward at the airport or hold the sign up (that he had in his hand ),we had to ask if any of the drivers there was Wycliffe. We had to write to Ronald and tell him half way through it was that bad and after a phone call to Wycliffe his behaviour did improve but that shows how deliberate his actions were. When we were on game drives with the roof off, he would leave the motor running (which is not normal as you want to get rid of the vibration when taking photos) and then roll forward and hit the brakes so you would fall forward. He took off when he was ready, never asking if we were ready again something I have never experienced with our previously expert guides, they would always ask right to go? I have been on 4 safaris and about 10 game drives so I think I can compare and we have never had anything but wonderful treatment from our guides. I don't blame Ronald or Kajie Safaris so don't punish them just make sure your guide is not Wycliffe before you book.
