Excellent Service
I worked at an organization that received international volunteers. When our volunteers wanted to hike Nyrigongo in the Congo, I only sent them with Barack. They always came back beaming and only said the best about Barack. He dealt with everything from picking them up, helping at the border, organizing the hike, and everything in between. He was also great at communicating with me about where my volunteers were at all times. I highly recommend working with him!

Unforgetable Nyiragongo
Thanks to Congo Discovery Safaris and Barack in person my long-held dream to climb Mt. Nyiragongo came true - and it was just fantastic. The hike with very friendly and good english speaking guides takes you within a few hours to different vegetation zones and a breathtaking landscape. Even if the way is steep: the first look around at the summit will make you forget every effort and the overnight stay surely is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The organization was perfect and everything was taken care of - beautiful accomodation in Gisenyi (Discover Rwanda), food shopping for the hike, trouble-free border crossing and visa, permit, transport to/from Congo. Just ask Barack and you will get your perfect personal programm!

Great organizer/transport for Goma safari Nyiragongo/gorillas
Barack is very helpful for executing a safari trip in the Goma area. I was able to communicate with him via WhatsApp from Kigali, RW, planning out dates, details, and costs. He personally picked me up from the border, helped me through customs, and took me to the hotel. Transport was in a sturdy 4x4, had no problems. He also knows the officials at the Virunga park office which helps.
Although it would have been helpful if the driver spoke better English (to/from park), he was able to direct me to a music shop where I could find Congolese tunes :)

volcano hike
i took barak as my geiud and it was one of my best decision. barak was so kind and very
Professional. he met me in the border and help me crossed it and in the all procces of getting visa. he knew to answer to all of my questions and shared his Wide knowledge. in all of my days in DRC barak made me fell safe and comfortable. thank u men, you made my dream to watch lava come true.

barack is the best guide!
We were a group of 3 backpackers that came to a combined safari tour of niragongo volcano and gorilla tracking. Barack took very good care of us and we felt safe in his hands. He is a nice person and a pro in what he does so you're covered. He met our needs and knew to be flexible also, I've been to over 10 safries in Africa and Barack was by far my best guide and friend! You should definitely do your tour through Barack!

Unforgettable experience
I found the company and Barack by a recommendation of my colleague that went with them 2 years back. What i could say it as an unforgettable exciting experience. We did Nyiragongo volcano tracking. Barack picked us up from Kigali, we spent a night in Giseniy, passed the border in the morning and went for the volcano. All the small issues we had were solved by Barack. The hike itself was amazing though not that easy but definitely worth it. I can definitely recommend Barack and his company and hope to do some other adventures with him as well while in Rwanda.

Barack looks after you very well
We went on the Nyiragongo tour organised by Barack. Barack was very helpful and organised everything we needed. He was conscious of limiting our costs which was great as we are backpackers. He welcomed us into his home and drove us to the starting point himself. Thanks for looking after us Barack!
