We chose Philomena to organize our trek up Mount Meru and our safari through Tanzaniaâs most beautiful national parks, and honestly, we couldnât have asked for anything better. Everything was simply AMAZING from start to finish!

Nice, professional, attentive, and great at what they do.
My wife and I went on a safari in mainland Tanzania, followed by a few days in Zanzibar, and we had an amazing experienceâmade possible by our excellent tour company, Wildbud Safari / African Savannah Trekkers. They truly went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and safe throughout.
During the planning stage, we changed our minds quite a few times about what we wanted, and they accommodated every adjustment without any hassle. Once we were on safari, it was clear theyâd understood our requirements perfectly. They also made a genuine effort to check in with us daily, asking what we liked and what could be improved, and they were always easy to reach.
On one morning, just as we set off, I came down with a stomach bug. They immediately helped by arranging an early check-in and a hospital visit, even though I just needed rest. That level of care and responsiveness really stood out.

Loved Tanzania
Family and I enjoyed our 3 days in Tanzania as part of an 11 day tour. The tent camp experience was something we will never forget. Hearing the wild animals in the Serengiti at night was like living in the wild. Our tour guy Noel was very knowledgeable about the terrain and had an eagle eye for spotting wildlife. We actually saw the 2 hardest animals to find in the Big 5, Leopard and Rhino. Loved every minute in Tanzania

Wonderful experience
Wonderful experience! We were able to see lots of animals and get to know a bit of African culture. Eli was an amazing guide who offered us a lot of knowledge and kindfulness. Completely recommended. We visited Serengeti park and Ngorongoro crater spotting a huge variety of animals. African Trekkers offers an exclusive and splendid service, the car was in perfect condition.

Exceeding expectations!
African Svannah Trekkers provided excellent support and help from start to finish. This was a very special trip for us and it needed to be just right the African Savannah Trekkers team was extremely responsive and helped us get what we wanted. When we arrived at the airport we were immediately greeted by our guide who took us to our first hotel. The next day we started our 8 day safari with our guide who was absolutely superb; highly knowledgeable, interesting and above all caring and considerate an understanding of all our needs. All the accommodation was very good with several of the lodges being superb with views of elephants, buffalo and other wild animals from the balconies. It was sad to leave but I know we will be back soon.
We would very highly recommend this operator as a great company for a life time safari experience.

Kenya\Tanzania - 10 day Safari with Wildbud and African Savannah
A group of 6 friends had the most wonderful adventure and experience with the above companies. It was absolutely seamless with our exchange of drivers at the Tanzania land border. Eli from African Savannah was there helping with immigration, had a boxed lunch for us and made sure our Hot Air Balloon tickets were confirmed. We were looked after from the flight landing in Nairobi to boarding our flight to Zanzibar. Leah from Wildbud and Philomena from African Savannah were absolutely fantastic.
