Professional, helpful, friendly
5/5

We sent a inquiry for private safari to 4 companies five days before arrival to Arusha. The communication was definitely best with Kili Serengeti Guides company. They respond quickly and helpfully. After arrival, the manager of the company visited us at our hotel and she explained everything, answered all questions and met our requirements. Then she showed us the city, introduced us to our safari guide and they took us to the shops, where we bought something for next days. The next morning, safari guide picked us up at the hotel and we visited Lake Manyara, Ngorongoro, Tarangire and Masai village in three days. We have seen all the possible animals. Our guide was experienced, helpful and answered every question. The accommodation in Panorama Safari Camp in "igloos" was fine and also bathroom and toilets were good and clean. And food, especially dinners were really tasty. In the end the manager took us from Arusha to the Kili airport.
Amazing experience...

Amazing 2 days safari in Tarangire and Manyara lake
5/5

As young travellers, we couldn't afford luxury safaris but we desperately wanted to experience one during our trip in Tanzania. We were at first suspicious because of the many stories of tourists scams and - paradoxically - because of the only 5 stars ratings this company had (which is usually balanced with less enthusiastic comments).
Looking back at the 2 days trip we had with them, they really deserve 5 stars and word of mouth publicity ! Mike was the most amazing guide ever : he brought his books about birds and plants, knew everything about animals and nature et was really funny. He's open-minded and we exchanged cultures more than with any other tanzanian we met. John was a really good cook and was really friendly and Imaculate was so efficient to organize the tour that we couldn't believe it was happening.
We saw more animals than I ever did and had one of the times of our life. A must do that I recommend warmly !

Got lost looking for the short cut to Northern Serengeti but the experience was one of a kind
4/5

Actual vs. Expectation: We were promised that we'll be able to witness the great wildebeest migration from Serengeti to Maasai Mara but it never happened as we got lost looking for "that short cut" or what our driver calls "Wazu" to Northern Serengeti. However, it was a unique experience. We were able to see outlandish landscapes such as semi-barren grazing lands dotted with tree-tall termite hills. We also had a chance to do off-roading on a dry river bed. We were also able to have more interaction with the Maasai people. Best part of our being lost was our overnight stay in a Maasai Boma near the Kenyan border. Through that, we were able experience spontaneous Maasai hospitality first hand (which I prefer versus the relatively commercialized/semi-rehearsed Maasai Boma tour near Ngorongoro). We also had an unplanned reroute around scenic Lake Natron where we saw thousands of pink flamingoes. In my opinion, all these were good comprises for not being able to see the great migration.

Service: John's cooking is really superb. I don't normally like spaghetti but his take was phenomenal that I had a second round. His beef recipe was also A+. On the other hand, despite our mishaps during Day 1, I think our lead driver-guide Mike was able to handle the situation professionally. The rest of the safari crew was also very supportive. They were quick in setting camp and in attending to our every need.

Rating: I could have given a "5" if we were able to follow the original itinerary and was able to witness the great migration. I would say planning, prior research and coordination with authorities especially when taking unconventional safari routes are areas for improvement. Still, service was great and I can only say positive things about the professionalism that we experienced from the safari crew.

Climbing Kilimanjaro was tough, beautiful and overwhelmingly exciting! The Kili Serengeti Guides were superbly helpful, accomodating, well mannered and speaks English fluently. They are kindhearted and happy people. I will definitely contact Imma and co. when I go to Tanzania again, even recommends my experience with them to my family and friends.

My safari with Kili Serengeti Guides
5/5

I had an amazing time with Kili Serengeti Guides, Immaculate (Managing Director)and Mike (driver-guide)! Each and every thing was very well arranged and the places and specially peoples were so nice. Our driver Mike showed us more than I think and it was really really great to see different animals. He was very nice and helpful and answered all our questions about all the different things in the beautiful Tanzania. It was my wish from my childhood to see the wildlife and i just can say that it was a best experience ever in my life.I would definitely recommend to make this beautiful journey!
BEST OF LUCK
